Two individuals are dead and twelve are injured in what is being called one of the worst mass shootings in South Florida. The incident took place outside of a Miami-Dade funeral home in a drive by shooting. Police believe that it was gang related. The funeral was for 22 year old Marvin Andre of North Miami who was killed in a shooting himself. So where is the outrage over these deaths? Or is Sharpton, Jackson, Obama and the MSM only interested in certain deaths like Trayvon Martin that feed into a particular narrative? Maybe they should worry about the ethnic on ethnic crime and the surge of gang violence that reeks havoc more than they do.
Fourteen people were shot and two are dead in what may be one of the worst mass shootings in South Florida history. Police believe the shooting was gang related.
The shooting took place around 9 p.m. Friday night outside the Funeraria Latina Emanuel funeral home at 14990 W. Dixie Highway.
One person died on the scene while another died at the hospital. Their names have not been released.
A 5-year-old girl was shot in the leg and hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital along with eleven other victims. The girl is listed in stable condition.
Police are looking for six men, who were in a white 2006 or 2009 Pontiac or Impala, according to WSVN-TV.
The funeral was for Marvin Andre, 22, of North Miami, killed in an earlier shooting, according to witnesses. More than 100 people were gathered outside.
The shooting happened outside North Miami city limits in the 14900 block of West Dixie Highway. The area is just southwest of Florida International University’s north campus. Several funeral homes and a cemetery are in the busy area, as well as stores and restaurants.
