In the end remember this is about Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman and what transpired. Do not get caught up in the exploitation of the tragic event.
As they always say, there are three sides to every story and in the case of Trayvon Martin, there is his side, George Zimmerman’s and the truth. However, before we ever get to that point … we must deal with the intolerance, exploitation and racial hatred from those who are claiming racism.
As we sift through what happened that fateful night that Trayvon Martin died I am struck by one important fact, sadly another teen has died in America far too soon. Whether a child/teen be black, brown, white or purple, it matters little. Scared Monkeys has covered so many missing persons and crime stories of individuals of all race, creeds and colors. In the end, they all feel like our children, not just some of them. We should all be saddened that by the circumstances and look for the truth and the facts to figure out what happened. What “WE” should not have done is what is presently transpiring in Sanford, FL. When this story first broke the first thing I thought was just how soon were the race merchants going to flock to the area and make this all about a black vs. white thing. Unfortunately, I was right.
Let me first say that I believe in what Martin Luther King Jr. so proudly opined, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” No truer words have ever been spoken. This is something that maybe folks of all colors should keep in mind when dealing with the death of Trayvon Martin. Of course there is racism in the United States; however, every incident is not one.
One does not get justice or accomplish anything be espousing the very hate and ills of society that they claim to be against. How can the answer to perceived vigilantism on the parts of blacks be for the Black Panther Party to put out a $10,000 bounty on the head of George Zimmerman?

Not to be outdone, those seeking justice for Trayvon Martin are sporting t-shirts in Florida with George Zimmerman’s picture and the words “Pu$$y A$$ cracker”. Are you serious? This is how you honor Trayvon and seek justice, really? Who is hating? What did MLK say about the content of one’s character? How does anyone think that this is good for the cause? Shirt can be seen here too.
As seen at right (click to enlarge), the shirt has a picture of George Zimmerman and the words “Pussy Ass Cracker.” Zimmerman, a 28-year-old Hispanic, killed Martin, 17, last month while acting as a neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Florida.
As stated above, it did not take long for the race bait merchants to circle the remains of the Trayvon Martin story. Al Sharpton. Jesse Jackson et all sprinted to Sanford, FL to help fan the flames of racism and exploit the terrible fact that a mother and father lost their son. The former leader of the NAACP C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.” Ya think? Although, how else would you expect them to make a living?

The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”
Should the circumstances of the death of Trayvon Martin be examined? Of course it should. Should a grand jury be empaneled, of course. There is a possibility that George Zimmerman may be indicted. There is also a chance that he may not. If indicted, he might be found guilty or not.
Keep in mind, every one thought Casey Anthony was guilty too of killing her child, she was found not guilty as sin.
Just remember, there probably is a reason why the MSM and Barack Obama have jumped all over the death of Trayvon Martin and ignored that all too numerous black on black murders. Of course it has everything to do with a distraction. Sadly, there were folks in this country just biting at the bit to exploit a situation to pit white against black. How very unfortunate.

Where can I get one of those Pussy Cracker shirts. Zimmerman should sue for using his likeness without his permission and demand a portion of the profits. I think the shirt should say “Puss(edit)ss Sp(edit)c”?
What is going to happen if all investigations show that Zimmerman acted in self defense? The media has turned this into Duke Lacrosse. They are Nifonging Zimmerman.

When the race baiters are aided by the propaganda machine of the MSM, this is what you get. Unfortunately this will continue as long as the “have nots” are not made to behave themselves and work for what they get.
The photos the MSM media are showing are deliberately skewed to show the teenager as a fourteen year old rather than the thug he had become at age seventeen. Mr. Zimmerman in contrast is shown as a person who was wearing a jail jump suit.
As so truthfully pointed out in the article, the Progressive/Democrats are using this as a distraction to deflect the poor job they have done in government.
Too many want so badly for this case to be a racially motivated one and it just wasn’t. A tragedy, yes. A murder, no. Look at the FACTS and the EVIDENCE. The police actually got it right from the start. What’s sad is that the epidemic of black on black violence in this country doesn’t register near the same outrage as this fake case.
And again, the media has done it’s share of contributing to the OVER EXPOSURE of this case.
There are witnesses who saw Zimmerman on the bottom, being beaten by Martin. I do feel it is unfortunate that Zimmerman persued this young Man, got more than he bargained for when things got physical, and I still can’t imagine why he would have used his gun.
I have to say I don’t feel his life was being threatened by Martin, and ANYONE DOES have a right to defend himself.

Zimmerman was wrong for engaging this fecal knot. I’m sure he will have hell to pay for it in the future.
HOWEVER, once the “kid” started pummeling him to death — I would have put him in the ground too.
What else was he to do? It’s human nature to want to survive. It is built into your DNA.

Well, call me a “hater,” but reports like this are worth at least considering:
Zimmerman told them he lost sight of Trayvon and was walking back to his SUV when Trayvon approached him from the left rear, and they exchanged words. Trayvon asked Zimmerman if he had a problem. Zimmerman said no and reached for his cell phone, he told police. Trayvon then said, “Well, you do now” or something similar and punched Zimmerman in the nose.
Zimmerman fell to the ground and Trayvon got on top of him and began slamming his head into the sidewalk, he told police. Zimmerman began yelling for help.
Several witnesses heard those cries, and there’s been a dispute about from whom they came: Zimmerman or Trayvon. Lawyers for Trayvon’s family say it was Trayvon, but police say their evidence indicates it was Zimmerman.
One witnesses, who has since talked to local television news reporters, told police he saw Zimmerman on the ground with Trayvon on top, pounding him and was unequivocal that it was Zimmerman who was crying for help.
Once again, I don’t know what happened. What I’d like to know is if there’s any evidence contradicting what Zimmerman and these witnesses are saying. If there is no such evidence—what are the police supposed to charge Zimmerman with? Refusing to let a guy beat him up?
Did Martin beat him up? I don’t know. Did Zimmerman attack him first? I don’t know.
Which is why I don’t know why people are demanding Zimmerman’s arrest. I know it’s old-fashioned, but I like the system where the cops get the evidence FIRST, then put people in jail.
And that includes people who look like President Obama’s son, or even my own.
Dolf, it is now being released by the police that at the scene there was a witness who heard a man screaming for help. When he looked out of his house he could see a man in a white hoodie on top of and beating a man in an orange sweater. He yelled out that he was going to call the police and told the man in the white hoodie to stop. At the same time another witness heard the commotion and called the police. On that tape of the call you could hear a man screaming for help for at least 20 seconds or more until you could hear a gun shot and the commotion stopped. At that time, another witness looked out of their house and saw the man in the orange sweater standing over the man in the white hoodie who was motionless and face down on the ground. These are witness statements that were taken at the scene that night when the police arrived.
Zimmermans statement was taken that night by the police. According to Zimmerman he saw a suspicious person and called the police. He was following the subject in his truck until the suspect went into someones yard. Zimmerman left his truck to see were the suspect went, at that time he was told by police the he didn’t need to follow the suspect. As he was returning to his truck the suspect appeared from behind a house, approached and asked Zimmerman “Have you got a problem?” to which Zimmerman replied “No”. As Zimmerman continued to leave the suspect punched him in the face and broke his nose and knocked him to the ground. At that time the suspect jumped on top of Zimmerman and began hitting Zimmermans head against the sidewalk. Thats when Zimmerman yelled out for help, feared for his life and produced his weapon. The suspect grabbed the weapon, they struggled and the suspect was shot.
These are facts in evidence: Zimmerman had a broken nose, grass stains on the back of his sweater and an injury to the back of his head.
Sound different that what the MSM has been leading everyone to believe?

Interesting that black “teens” were arrested for a hate crime for attacking an Hispanic boy. Punish the bastards. However it’s also interesting that these mobs of “teen” (were identified by race because it was an Hispanic who was attacked). Generally with the much more frequent Black on White attacks, the perpetrators are described as “teens”, “youths”, “young people”, “youngsters” etc.. The attackers are never charged with hate crimes when the victims are White as in the cases of in Wichita and Knoxville where “there was no evidence that race played a part.”, nor was there any racial component in the brutal murders of Eve Carson and Lauren Burk.
