I agree Dana … she was a talent but I cannot even begin to imagine how cable news bumped all news for 4 hours.

It was lazy journalism because they could just send their correspondents across the GW to Newark, NJ.

Gas prices thru the roof, record national debt, Middle East on fire, and Iran threatening war and yes crime and individuals are missing … but we had Whitney Houston wall to wall on Saturday. MSM news including Fox have become lazy tabloid journalism.

That’s why the Internet has become a viable news source.

#1-You got that right!~ As much as I was saddened to hear of her passing….did we really need all day coverage of her funeral?

I will say this, though. I watched a clipping of the Rev. Winans sermon about FAITH IN GOD and he was also SPOT on. He pointed out that he was in a way, amused at all the attention he received from the MSM in the week leading up to what he was preparing to say at the Eulogy and found it ridiculous. His response was, “Come see me on Sunday, every Sunday if you really want to know.”
