2012 Iowa Republican Caucus: Its a Three Way Race Between Romney, Santorum and Paul (Update: Ron Paul Finishes Third)
The 2012 Iowa Caucus as been a nip and tuck, too close to call horse race all night long. Its been back and forth between the three lead horses, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul. What will come of this, is Iowa really going to make Ron Paul the winner? Really?
See real time poll results at Fox News.
Presently with 87% of the vote in at 9:50 PM CST … Santorum 25%, Romney 25% and Paul 22%. It is rather interesting that Paul’s negative and nasty ads may have cost him voted in the waning moments leading into today’s caucus vote. Paul may have savaged Gingrich; however, he might have done harm to himself as well.
Continued updates can be found at The Other McCain … Santorum having a hell of a showing tonight, Beating even surge projections. Talk about peaking just at the right time. Will Santorum be able to sustain the momentum and the slings and arrows that will follow not that he is a top tier candidate?
UPDATE I: Fox News predicts that Ron Paul finishes third. WOW, what happened to all the Paulies in Iowa? Third? Sorry folks but this is a major failure and set back for the Paul campaign.
UPDATE II: So far predicted finishes … 3rd Ron Paul, 4th Newt Gingrich, 5th Perry, 6th Michele Bachmann and 7th Huntsman. It is still up in the air as to who is #1 and #2, Romney or Santorum.
UPDATE III: At 10:44 PM CST with 95% of votes counted: Santorum 29,017 – Romney 28,908
UPDATE IV: 11:23 PM CST – Romney 29,625 – Santorum 25,584

Jimmy Carter Gives Advice to Barack Obama to Win Second Term … “Don’t Alienate the Voters” … Too Late
Mirror, mirror on the wall … who’s the most alienating of all?
Jimmy Carter, a past one term failed Democrat President giving Barack Obama, a present “Epic Fail” one term President advice on how to win a second term … “DON’T ALIENATE VOTERS”. Is this a SNL skit or is this for real? Who knew that Carter was the all wise knowing sage of the Democrat party, especially when it comes to “One Term” Presidencies.
Former President Jimmy Carter has some advice for Barack Obama as he gears up for the 2012 election: Don’t alienate voters with controversial positions.
The Georgia Democrat told The Associated Press on Tuesday that just about everything he did alienated voters, from sealing a treaty to hand over the Panama Canal to establishing diplomatic ties with China.
Carter said: “If your main goal is to get re-elected, avoid a controversial subject as much as you can in the first term.”
Hey Jimmy, not sure if you have paid attention to Barack Obama’s first term, but he has already alienated voters with controversial subject matter. Can you say Obamacare? Maybe next Carter can provide advice on the Misery Index, the economy and “Malaise” in America.

Barack Obama & Eric Holder Make Judicial Watch’s 2011 List of 10 Most Corrupt Washington, DC Politicians
KUDOS to President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, they made the list of most corrupt Inside the Beltway DC politicians. Where have all the Statesmen gone?
Judicial Watch has their 2011 list of top 10 most corrupt Washington, DC politicians. Among those on the list were President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. For the GOP, former US Senator John Ensign of Nevada and US Rep. Bachus if Alabama. Do any of “We the People” think that we would be able to get away as private citizens what these politicians get away with every day?
TOP 10 LIST that One Does Not Want to be On
•Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL)
•Former Senator John Ensign (R-NV)
•Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL)
•Attorney General Eric Holder
•Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL)
•President Barack Obama
•Rep. Laura Richardson (D-CA)
•Rep. David Rivera (R-FL)
•Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA)
•Rep. Don Young (R-AK)
AG Eric Holder:
The Fast and Furious operation by itself should have resulted in Holder’s resignation, but it is the cover-up that has prompted serious calls for Holder’s ouster.
On May 3, 2011, in a House Judiciary Committee hearing chaired by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX), Holder testified: “I’m not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” Newly released documents show he was receiving weekly briefings on Fast and Furious as far back as July 5, 2010. It appears Holder lied to Congress. (Judicial Watch sued the DOJ and the ATF to obtain Fast and Furious records. The Judicial Watch investigation continues.)
Unfortunately, when it comes to Holder corruption and abuse of office, Fast and Furious is just the tip of the iceberg.
President Barack Obama:
President Barack Obama: President Obama makes Judicial Watch’s “Ten Most Wanted” list for a fifth consecutive year. (The former Illinois Senator was also a “Dishonorable Mention” in 2006.) And when it comes to Obama corruption, it may not get any bigger than Solyndra. Solyndra was once known as the poster child for the Obama administration’s massive “green energy” initiative, but it has become the poster child for the corruption that ensues when the government meddles in the private sector. Solyndra filed for bankruptcy in September 2011, leaving 1,100 workers without jobs and the American taxpayers on the hook for $535 million thanks to an Obama administration stimulus loan guarantee.

President Barack Obama To Speak To Iowa Caucus Voters Tuesday Evening … ‘What I Did on my Christmas Vacation”
President Barack Obama is to speak to Iowa Caucus Voters this evening … “What I did on my Christmas Vacation”. Oh sorry Obama would say “Happy Holiday” vacation. This is rather comical, Obama is not competing against anyone, yet he feels the need to make a presence on the Iowa Caucus voting eve. I guess Obama really does fear the “generic” Republican candidate.
From The Hill:
President Obama will hold a televideo conference with Iowa caucus voters on Tuesday evening.
He will hold the event at 8:15 p.m., the White House announced Monday.
Obama hasn’t campaigned in the early caucus state during the primary process, given he doesn’t have any competition, but the state gave his 2008 campaign its start when he won the caucuses that year.
Plus, Iowa will be a swing state in the 2012 general election. Obama won the state in the 2008 general election but it went Republican in 2004, voting for then-President George W. Bush.
I know that we always post when Obama foes on yet another vacation; however, most of us wish that he would just stay on vacation. Barack Obama begins his “Occupy” the White House as his cronies Occupy Iowa create chaos at the caucuses.
