Eight is Enough … Mitt Romney Defeats Rick Santorum in GOP Iowa Caucus by 8 Votes … GAME ON!!!
Eight was not only enough, it was just enough last night for Mitt Romney.
The 2012 GOP Iowa Caucus went down to the very end … the final result, Mitt Romney defeats Rick Santorum by just a mere 8 votes. It was nip and tuck throughout the evening between Romney and the anti-Romney candidate, Rick Santorum. However, the story of the night was not Romney’s victory, it was Santorum’s surge from no where to coming in send by just 8 votes. Incredible.
WIN: Romney
PLACE: Santorum
SHOW: Paul
Mitt Romney’s quest to swiftly lock down the Republican presidential nomination with a commanding finish in the Iowa caucuses was undercut on Tuesday night by the surging candidacy of Rick Santorum, who fought him to a draw on a shoestring budget by winning over conservatives who remain skeptical of Mr. Romney.
In the first Republican contest of the season, the two candidates were separated much of the night by only a sliver of votes, with Mr. Romney being declared the winner by eight ballots early Wednesday morning. But the outcome offered Mr. Santorum a chance to emerge as the alternative to Mr. Romney as the race moves to New Hampshire and South Carolina …
As Rick Santorm stated last night … GAME ON!!! Next stop, New Hampshire.

Barack Obama Agrees To Release Taliban Leaders From Gitmo In Exchange For Taliban Opening Office In Qatar for Peace Negotiations
How many American and NATO military heroes died so that Barack Obama could release Taliban leaders from GITMO? Try and explain your way out of this one Obama. So Obama thinks he can negotiate peace talks with terrorists. How naive and dangerous could one individual be? Yet one more item to discuss in the 2012 Presidential election … Obama’s misguided foreign policy.
More from the Barack Obama administration that believe that the Taliban is “not the enemy” of the United States. Unbelievable, Barack Obama to release Taliban terrorist leaders from GITMO. Are you serious, Obama actually does believe that the Taliban are not our enemy. Commander in Chief, eh?
The US has agreed in principle to release high-ranking Taliban officials from Guantánamo Bay in return for the Afghan insurgents’ agreement to open a political office for peace negotiations in Qatar, the Guardian has learned.
According to sources familiar with the talks in the US and in Afghanistan, the handful of Taliban figures will include Mullah Khair Khowa, a former interior minister, and Noorullah Noori, a former governor in northern Afghanistan.
More controversially, the Taliban are demanding the release of the former army commander Mullah Fazl Akhund. Washington is reported to be considering formally handing him over to the custody of another country, possibly Qatar.
What Weasel Zippers said … JAW HITTING FLOOR.
The Gateway Pundit reminds us of those peaceful Taliban and friends of the United States …
On Wednesday December 28 the Taliban blew up 3 NATO soldiers in Afghanistan.
On Thursday December 29 the Taliban blew up 10 Afghan soldiers with a roadside bomb

Body Found in Woods Over Weekend Identified as Missing and Police Dispatcher Dawna Natzke … Death Considered Homicide
46 year old mother of three Dawna Natzke has been missing since December 21, 2011. She was last seen leaving a Christmas party in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas where she worked as a police dispatcher. Sadly, a body was found over the weekend in the woods about five miles from her home and about five miles from her car. However, there was no positive identification.
Authorities confirmed today that the body found was that of missing and now deceased Dawna Natzke. Detectives have ruled the death a homicide, although they are not sure the cause of her death.
The Garland County sheriff’s office issued a statement Tuesday saying the state medical examiners confirmed the body found Saturday was that of Dawna Natzke, a 46-year-old mother of three who worked for the police department in her gated community of Hot Springs Village.
One of her sisters, Vicki Hegyi, told The Associated Press that investigators came by the family’s home Tuesday to confirm what they already suspected — that the body was her sister’s.
“It was a formality anyway,” Vicki Hegyi said. “We knew it was Dawna.”
Police have yet to name a suspect in this case. However, one has to imagine that they are taking a real close look at Dawna Natzke’s boyfriend, 28 year old Kevin Duck, who told police that the two came home from the Christmas party and when he awoke, she was gone. That’s a pretty shaky stories if you ask me.
Natzke, who recently separated from her husband, was last seen alive leaving the Dec. 21 Christmas party with her boyfriend, 28-year-old Kevin Duck. He told investigators the two of them returned to her home in Hot Springs Village after the party and that she was gone when he woke up. He did not return telephone calls last week, and his cell phone had been disconnected by Saturday.
