MISSING JUSTICE: Aruba Learned Nothing from Natalee Holloway: Like Joran Van der Sloot, Like Gary Giordano … Aruba Judge Orders Release of Murder Suspect in Death & Disappearance of Robyn Gardner
ARUBA, NO BODY NO CRIME … Oops, They Did It Again … ARUBA … THE NEW KILLING FIELDS.
Can anyone say that they are not surprised with the news out of Aruba and that they did it over an American long weekend Thanksgiving Day holiday? An Aruba judge has ordered the release of Gary Giordano without any conditions. Giordano is the 50 year old Gaithersburg, Maryland man who has been jailed in Aruba and the primary suspect in the death and disappearance of American travel companion Robyn Gardner.

A judge in Aruba on Friday ordered the release of U.S. businessman Gary Giordano, who was detained in connection with the August death of his traveling companion.
The judge said Giordano, a 50-year-old employment agency owner from Gaithersburg, Maryland, must be freed on Tuesday without any conditions.
ITS DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN. If this does not reeks of the Natalee Holloway case all over again. The Aruba LE and prosecutors have done it again. They have failed to make a case, in an obvious one that Giordano killed his travel companion and will profit from her death. First we were witness to Joran Van der Sloot, Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe being released from jail in the case of the death and disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Now Aruba has a twofer, Giordano will be released in the death and disappearance of Robyn Gardner. UNREAL. No Body, No Crime … NO JUSTICE!
Some Caribbean islands are known as tax haven shelters due to their lax rules on taxes and privacy. However, Aruba now has to be known as the “killing fields” island. How can it not be thought that if one wants to kill their girlfriend, spouse or travel companion … just go to Aruba, take out a life insurance policy in advance, make yourself the beneficiary and then kill her. In Aruba … NO BODY NO CRIME, get you off of murder charges. Imagine knowing that all one has to do is make sure a body of your murder victim never needs to be found, and you skate. Of course not without first making sure you can make money off killing them.
To make matters worse, fresh off the miscarriage of justice in the death of Caylee Anthony in the murder trial of Casey Anthony in Orlando, FL, we have a smug Jose Baez claiming the innocence of his client Giordano, when we all know differently. One day Jose, karma is going to come back and bite you in the a$$, as it is you who does not pass the laugh test. Wow Jose, what a limb you went out on becoming a murderers defense attorney in Aruba. Geez Vegas odds have it as even money for Aruba to ever successfully prosecute a murder suspect.
Gary Giordano’s lawyer, Jose Baez, told ABC News that Giordano would be freed Tuesday night at 8 p.m. and could be home as early as Wednesday.
“Gary had a chance to speak, and the judge listened to him,” Baez said. “He made a heartfelt plea — explained the situation.”
“Justice delayed is justice denied,” Baez said.
Prosecutors admitted that they had no body, no murder weapon and no solid motive. But over the past few months, they believed they had accumulated enough circumstantial evidence to keep him jailed for a while.
The judge thought differently.
During today’s short proceeding, Giordano was allowed to explain his situation, according to Baez, who also defended Casey Anthony.
“It doesn’t even pass the laugh test,” Baez said today on “Good Morning America.”

Natalee Holloway Suspect Wanted in Peru
Last Update: 1:44 pm
LATEST DETAILS FROM CBS NEWS:
NEW YORK (CBS) Joran van der Sloot, the Dutch national who has been detained several times in the Natalee Holloway case, has now been named the prime suspect in the murder of a Peruvian girl, according to local reports.
Crimesider has been told that an Aruban prosecutor described van der Sloot as being on the run, but we have been unable to independently confirm it.
Early Wednesday morning, Stephany Flores Ramirez, 21, was found dead in a hotel room in Peru located on the avenue Miraflores district of Lima, Peruvian newspaper El Comercio reports. According to police reports, the girl was brutally stabbed and was found wrapped in a blanket in a pool of blood.
Ramirez was the daughter of racecar driver and well-known businessman Ricardo Flores.
According to Peruvian police, she was last seen with van der Sloot, who has not been located.
According to the Peruvian newspaper, the hotel room where Ramirez’s body was found was registered under van der Sloot’s name. Hotel employees also told police that they saw him with the girl over the weekend.
Five years ago, in May 2005, Alabama high school student Natalee Holloway disappeared during a senior class trip to Aruba. She was 18 when she was last seen leaving a bar with Joran van der Sloot, who was 17 at the time. He was detained in the case several times but Aruban authorities have said they don’t have enough evidence to charge him.
UPDATE: BNO News is reporting the Prosecutor’s Office in Aruba has confirmed that Joran Van Der Sloot is a suspect in the death of a Peruvian woman. Interpol has reportedly issued an international arrest warrant.
UPDATE: A police news conference is expected in Peru within the hour to confirm or clarify reports concerning Joran Van Der Sloot’s alleged involvement in this murder case. CBS42 will update the story as soon as that information comes in.
An international news agency is reporting Joran Van Der Sloot is a suspect in the murder of a 21 year old woman in Peru. Van Der Sloot was the prime suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba five years ago. According to BNO News the victim in this new case is Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez who was found dead this morning after disappearing Friday. Her family says she was last seen leaving a casino with Van Der Sloot.
CBS 42 News will continue to follow this developing story.

So. Sad.
The only thing that doesn’t even pass the laugh test here is (once again) the corruption in Aruba and Joze “The Clown” Baez as a Defense Attorney.
If there is not enough evidence to detain the last human being who saw Robyn Gardner alive–then what can be done?
Also, American Express Officials claim that Giordano seemed “excited” when he called them to attempt to put in a claim for the $1.5 M Life Insurance Policy he took out a day before they took off for the trip.
He claims she “floated away” while Scuba Diving, I think once again a Murderer will be set free.
aruba lied and other women died !!!
Prosecutors admitted that they had no body, no murder weapon and no solid motive.
so..just throw him in jail?
We have a legal system for this, as f* up as it might seem.
______________
Sm: Although there was DNA evidence. Do you really think he did not do it? Really?
Dolf–We are innocent until proven Guilty in the US also.
But what of the DNA evidence? I can tell you for sure if they had obatained DNA evidence here in the States, the suspect would be held in jail until a hearing/trial process.
Again, you cannot convince me the the Justice System in the NL is efficient when victims and their families suffer as Murderers are set free. We may not have the best justice System here in the States, either but it certainly beats the crap out of what they have in Aruba, specifically.
_______________
SM: Also what people have to remember is that Sm is not the US Justice system. The law provides one with a presumption of innocence, that does not mean that the law of Public Opinion has to. Let’s just do back to the OJ Simpson case, or more recently the Casey Anthony case … need we say more.
R
NGBoston, not more or less then in the US I suppose.
and yes, I wouldn’t trust on the Aruba system as well.
Last year there was a remake of the former colonies (some became municipalities, some independed) and no we have a diplomatic issue with Curacau, because we want to send in the accountants to check the books (wonder why) and they say no (surprise and start the normal issults…white former colonizer stuff).
Aruba was already independed (and corrupt)
Dolf—Aruba had enough evidence to keep both Paulus Van Der Sloot and Joran imprisoned. Since it was (is) corrupt, as you stated—the whole investigation was never handled correctly FROM THE BEGINNING.
Natalee Holloway was taken by boat, and WITH THE HELP OF PAULUS VAN DER SLOOT, dumped into the Ocean.
She was murdered and Aruba never did a thing about it.
Now, another woman is murdered there and the only suspect and perpertrator is set free.
Don’t get me wrong, as I stated, the US’s Justice System is also far from perfect. As Red posts above- 2 of the biggest Murder cases in US History are prime examples of where our legal system failed.
I do believe that Gary Giordano is the Murderer of Robyn Gardner and that she did not disappear while Scuba Diving. He killed her. Since there is “no body”, this Man goes free?
That is just plain wrong.
@7
That would be plain wrong.
