She Out, but this may be a Blessing … Sarah Palin Will Not Run for President in 2012

She may not be running for President, but she is now free to speak her mind. Will she … YOU BETCHA!

Its official, former Alaska Governor and GOP Republican VP candidate, Sarah Palin will not run for President in 2012. In a statement from the Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin’s website comes the following:

After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.

From the bottom of my heart I thank those who have supported me and defended my record throughout the years, and encouraged me to run for President. Know that by working together we can bring this country back – and as I’ve always said, one doesn’t need a title to help do it.

I will continue driving the discussion for freedom and free markets, including in the race for President where our candidates must embrace immediate action toward energy independence through domestic resource developments of conventional energy sources, along with renewables. We must reduce tax burdens and onerous regulations that kill American industry, and our candidates must always push to minimize government to strengthen the economy and allow the private sector to create jobs.

Those will be our priorities so Americans can be confident that a smaller, smarter government that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people can better serve this most exceptional nation.

In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Thank you again for all your support. Let’s unite to restore this country!

God bless America.
– Sarah Palin

I can’t say that I am that surprised. The Right Scoop has the VIDEO of the Palin announcement. I believe that Sarah Palin will have more of an impact on more political races and the Conservative movement in a capacity to support other candidates than she would as a Presidential candidate. As stated at Legal Insurrection, the MSM has savagely attacked Palin and would continue to do so fi she ran for President. However, she now has an opportunity to be a game changer in numerous races. Palin is more popular with the GOP/Conservative base than Obama is with his own. In reality, Palin just put America over her own person interests and as stated at Wake Up America, this is the best thing she could have done for the Republican party. Look for Palin, without a title, to be extremely influential and outspoken against Obama and the Democrat controlled Senate in 2012. By not running … she is free to speak her mind and will she … YOU BETCHA!

I admire Palin’s willingness to sit this one out.

A LOT of “ego maniacs” would have refused to step aside. Palin however, is NOT an ego maniac.

She understands that the stakes are too high – we MUST change leadership in 2012.

Palin knows that she can use her influence to rally support for whomever the GOP nominee will be… This shows a lot of personal character.

Sara has a daughter and a young son at home. In four years, Piper will be about to graduate from high school and the boy will be eight or nine.

She is now free to choose who she wants to support for elections all around the country. The Republican Party will not be able to controll her political speech.

I’m glad that Sarah Palin is not going to run. I like her–I like her a lot. But I do not believe she could win if she were nominated. She would have been a spoiler like Ross Perot—remember him? Hello Bill Clinton. Perot split Bush’s votes. Palin would be a big distraction during the Republican nomination process. I’m not suggesting that she would form a third party as Perot did, but she could do a lot of damage to the Republican Party.

Also, she has a lot of baggage with her goofy family. I haven’t read the new book about her –”Rogue”–and I don’t intend to because it seems to be a poorly researched hatchet job.

So, as much as I like her political leanings, I’m glad she has decided not to run.

Palin is more effective exactly where she is, doing what she continues to do.

Good decision, Sarah. Love her chutzpah.

Palin is not an egomaniac? Oh my lord are you brainwashed by fox news…..that’s exactly what she is. Oh, and according to the polls, that’s what most of the country, as well as republicans, believe. Lol.
SM: Are you sure you are not talking about Barack Obama? He is the pictorial definition of ego and narcissist. Here’s a guy destroying America and his party with his policies and he doubles down on the same failed policies.

#7- Hey, Yoyo. In a nutshell, HERE exactly is the beauty about Sarah Palin.

Every time her name is mentioned on this board, you have a knee=jerk reaction and have to say something derogatory about her.

DING! DING! DING! You have won the instant game prize by proving our point about Ms. Palin.

Again, she is MORE EFFECTIVE doing exactly what she does that seems to drive you Libtards nuts.

Thank you for helping to prove the point. LOL
