3 Year Old Aliayah Lunsford Missing September 24, 2011 in Weston, WV

The search continues for missing Aliayah Lunsford …

3 year old Aliayah Lunsford has been missing since  September 24, 2011 in Weston, West Virginia. The mother of the missing 3 year old, Lena Lunsford, told police she’d checked on her daughter around 6:30 AM Saturday, then discovered her missing three hours later.

Aliayah Lunsford is about 3 feet tall and 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her ears are pierced and she is missing her top four front teeth.  She was last seen in purple pajama bottoms and a pink sweatshirt.

Aliayah Lunsford disappeared from her home in Bendale, W.Va., Saturday morning, and hundreds of people have been helping local, state and federal authorities try to locate her.

FBI investigators have gone door to door. Dive teams have searched an underwater grid in the West Fork River. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, which listed the missing child as “endangered missing” on its website, dispatched a member of Team Adam, retired investigators who advise local officers.

UPDATE I: The West Virginia Dept. of Health and Human Resources removed the children living in the Lunsford home on Dennison street at 9 p.m.

Lena Lunsford hired Charleston attorney Tom Smith on Friday.

   I’ve seen multiple pictures of this child. Not ONE of them shows her with anything but a sad look or frown. Terrible. I’m sure this is not a good ending in sight.

   JUST like with little Haleigh Cummings whose scent was followed by trackers dogs to water and “ended”…so is it with this little girl.

   Also, missing 4 front teeth…at 3 yrs old? How? Something doesn’t smell right at all, not at all.

   I just scanned some WVa news sites over lunch. The step-dad and mom have extensive criminal histories. Step dad actually swang an axe at a neice and another person, along with other assaults. Mother was called in to have photo taken by LE once because she was suspect in a crime. That photo was to be used in a photo line up. When she arrived, according the LE, she had dramatically changed her appearance by dying her hair, wearing it differently, and using tons of makeup.

   This is really sad. I’m leaning towards the step-dad beating her because she’d had an accident and soiled herself while they were at someone else’s home. Also, I am thinking mom was dumping the poor child’s body in her “search” efforts that was used as an alibi. I hope LE gets to the bottom of this soon and it’s not another Casey Anthony fiasco of a well, hidden crime. Probably not based on the fact other children were in the home and can speak of the actions night before and that morning.

   i belive in my heart that the both of them kill this little aliayah lunsford because i seen a photo of her face that is child abuse. what kind of parents would lose contor and beat a small child. ever one think about it. did u all see her little face
