Barack Obama Says Pass the Jobs Bill Now … Senate Dem Dick Durbin Says They Will Wait Until October
Democrats tell Obama they will not pass this bill right away. Maybe this time Democrats will understand the bill completely rather than following Nancy Pelosi’s famous words that “we must pass the bill in order to find out what’s in it.”
President Barack Obama stated during his jobs speech during the joint session of Congress and during his subsequent shilling of his jobs act that it must be passed now. He has tried to play party politics and class warfare instead of actually trying to help fix the economy. The Obama WH is trying to paint the GOP as obstructionists, yet what would cause Obama to wait nearly 3 years into his first term to pass a bill that is supposedly to important and crucial to the economy?
Obama lectures every one that they should pass his jobs bill right away.
However, it is not just the Republicans that have an issue with Obama’s jobs bill, Democrats are balking too. In fact one of the head Democrats in the Democrat controlled Senate, Dick Durbin (D-IL), said that they will look at the Presidents plan in October. It would appear that the Democrats are not following Obama’s comments and blindly following another Obama jobs bill, son of stimulus, to no where.
The Senate likely will not take up President Obama’s plan to create jobs until next month following a planned recess period, the No. 2 Democrat in the chamber said Sunday.
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said the Senate would focus on a number of “related issues” to the $400 billion job-creation legislation this week. But he quickly noted on CNN that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has placed the massive jobs bill “on the calendar.”
This might just be the first step by Democrats in distancing themselves from Obama and his poor job approval ratings. In 2012 Democrats will have to explain the $787 billion stimulus and Obamacare to voters, do they really want to have to defend ‘son of stimulus”?

Chicago Tribune Editor Opines … Why Barack Obama Should Withdraw from the 2012 Presidential Election
How bad has it got for Barack Obama and Democrats when the Presidents own home town newspaper is discussing the idea that Obama should step down and withdraw from the 2012 Presidential election? Obama said just last week that he thought that his elections chances for victory were better in 2012 than 2008 … the Chicago Tribune thinks otherwise. Steve Chapman ponders, with an unemployment rate over 9%, no jobs being created, on the verge of a double dip recession and the fact that second terms usually lead to more problems for presidents, why doesn’t Obama just leave now instead of getting the axe in 2012?
When Ronald Reagan ran for re-election in 1984, his slogan was “Morning in America.” For Barack Obama, it’s more like midnight in a coal mine.
The sputtering economy is about to stall out, unemployment is high, his jobs program may not pass, foreclosures are rampant and the poor guy can’t even sneak a cigarette.
His approval rating is at its lowest level ever. His party just lost two House elections — one in a district it had held for 88 consecutive years. He’s staked his future on the jobs bill, which most Americans don’t think would work.
The vultures are starting to circle. Former White House spokesman Bill Burton said that unless Obama can rally the Democratic base, which is disillusioned with him, “it’s going to be impossible for the president to win.” Democratic consultant James Carville had one word of advice for Obama: “Panic.”
What does this mean when Obama’s home town newspaper contemplates The One bowing out of the 2012 Presidential election? Why would anyone of the LEFT or the MSM think of the unthinkable if Obama was going to win? Of course they mention the problems with a Presidential second term, especially since it looks like the GOP will control the House and the US Senate. There is a reference of scandals that might arise. Did some one say scandals … you mean like the ones that already exist like “Fast & Furious” and Solyndra-gate”?
However, does one really think that some with an ego like Obama would step down for the sake of his party and have some like say, Hillary Clinton run? There is no love loss between the Obama and the Clinton’s. Obama has felt with the Clinton’s like something out of The Godfather, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Now suddenly Obama would give up running for a second term and have Hillary ride in on the white horse, complete with white hat … NEVER. After all, Obama thinks he is going to win. Of course he is ignoring the fact that he is polling lower with pretty much every voting demographic including Whites, Blacks and Hispanics … add Jews to the list as well.
Just as Obama refuses to admit that Obamacare is a night more, his $787 billion stimulus plan was a disaster and his presidency has been an epic failure … Obama stepping down will be an admission that the last 4 years have been something that no one would want to repeat. It is beyond comprehension that Obama would not run in 2012, after all how will he give up weekend golfing and trips to Martha’s Vineyard without a fight.

President Obama Says He believes his Chances of being Reelected in 2012 are “much higher” than they were in 2008
Obama, beyond delusional. When political spinning just becomes a fabricated lie …
At a campaign fundraiser during this past week, President Barack Obama said the unthinkable, that he believes his chances of being reelected in 2012 are “much higher” than they were in 2008. Seriously Barack? Well, if we look at his comment literally, he would be correct. In 2008 Obama was not being reelected like he will be attempting to do so in 2012, so I guess he would have a much higher chance. However, that was hardly the intent of what Barack Obama meant. This guy really is the “LYING” King.
At a campaign fundraiser Thursday night in Washington, D.C., President Obama said he believes his chances of being reelected in 2012 are “much higher” than they were in 2008.
“Over the last couple of months there have been Democrats who voiced concerns and nervousness about, well, in this kind of economy, isn’t this just — aren’t these just huge headwinds in terms of your reelection?” Obama said.
“And I just have to remind people that, here’s one thing I know for certain: the odds of me being reelected are much higher than the odds of me being elected in the first place.”
Barack Obama’s job approval: 43.8% approval – 51.6% disapproval.
So Obama thinks his chances are better in 2012 than 2008, eh? Unfortunately for Obama, his own political base does not feel the same way. “Hope & Change” is over Barack, you will have to run on your record and your first term as President. It would appear that Obama would like Americans to have amnesia. Obama wishes that his first 4 years in Office was a season of the old TV show Dallas, when we learned it was all a dream. However, in Obama’s case … his first term in office has been one long nightmare for America.
If Obama thinks he has a better chance in 2012 of winning the Presidential election than 2008, maybe he would like to explain away the following?
- The 2009 Massachusetts US Senate victory by Scott Brown
- First President to reside over downgrading of US credit.
- The 2010 midterm election shellacking of the Democrats.
- 9.1% unemployment
- Record number of Americans on food stamps
- 30% approval rating of Obama handling the economy and creating jobs
- 38% approval rating of Obamacare … 51% want it repealed.
- 77% think the country is headed in the wrong direction
- Solyndragate, and the Green jobs fraud … complete failure of the $787 stimulus
- Historic Congressional NY-9 election victory by the GOP Bob Turner.

Can It Get Any Less Funny … Mike Tyson: Sarah Palin Would Give Obama a Blow Job
This is what attacks on Sarah Palin have been reduced to?
UNREAL. Just when you thought that the LEFT and ignoramuses like Mike Tyson could not get any worse when it comes to Sarah Palin … they did. The comments from Mike Tyson are jaw dropping even for this convicted rapist. How sick is this that a bunch of guys, including the radio host, are just sitting around laughing at this? Tyson said that Sarah Palin should have slept with Dennis Rodman instead of “allegedly sleeping” with Glen Rice because Rodman would “push her guts up into the back of her head.” Then Tyson says, “I know she’d give Obama a blow job.” This is so funny, I forgot to laugh. Who knew that rapists were stand up comics?
Video Hat Tip: Story Balloon
What else can one expect from a convicted rapist but misogyny. These comments actually have a hint of racism as well. Probably more then a hint. However, when it comes to making comments about Sarah Palin, nothing is off limits. I wonder how the LEFT would feel if the same such comments were made of female Democrats?
