Disgraceful … NY City Mayor Bloomberg Defends Banning Clergy & Rescue Workers From 9-11 Anniversary Ceremony
MAYOR BLOOMBERG IS A DISGRACE, THANK GOD MAYOR GIULIANI WAS MAYOR ON THAT TERRIBLE SEPTEMBER MORNING, 10 YEARS AGO.
NY City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is a disgrace and should be ashamed of himself. The NYC mayor defends the banning of clergy and rescue workers from the September 11, ten year anniversary. How can you not allow firefighters, police, paramedics and other first responder to an event like the anniversary of 9/11 when so many of them performed heroic acts and laid down their lives in the process? Bloomberg said it was a matter of there was not enough room. What, the NYC mayor had no problem finding space for politicians who had nothing to do with the terrible September morning. For that matter Mayor Bloomberg, why don’t you give up your place for a fire fighter, it’s not like you had anything to do with that day.
Bloomberg states the reason why clergy not allowed was because of “separation of church and state”. HUH? What does the anniversary of September 11 have to do with “separation of church and state’? That applies, actually it really doesn’t as its a bunch of fabricated BS, to the government, not a memorial. Why do politicians continue to fail “We the People” with their stupidity.
Mayor Bloomberg says that there is a place for prayer. Um, wouldn’t that be at an anniversary of the death of so many Americans and individuals from other countries d that died when the World Trade Center buildings came crashing down at the hands of fanatical Islamic terrorist? Bloomberg says its a day for the families. Didn’t family members of firefighters, police and other first responder die as well?
As the Gateway Pundit states, isn’t this the same mayor that bent over backwards for the 9-11 mosque? What happened to “separation of church” in that situation Mayor?
Obviously Mayor Bloomberg has forgotten … Don’t you America … Do not ever forget to have room for the heroes of September 11, 2001.

Could Republican Candidate Bob Turner Defeat Democrat David Weprin for Weiner’s NY-9 Congressional Seat … Up by 6
Oh those Obama coattails … Could the GOP take Weiner’s old seat in NY? Could this be a sign of things to come in 2012? Welcome to the 2011′s version of the GOP Scott Brown special election victory.
YIKES, how much trouble are Democrats in heading into the 2012 elections? According to a Siena Research Institute survey released on Friday, has Republican Bob Turner with a six point lead over Democrat Mr. Weprin. What a shocker this would be for Democrats and a sobering blow heading into 2012. Turner has 50% to 44% lead over Weprin in a heavily Democrat district. This is the special election for the NY-9 Congressional seat of disgraced Anthony Weiner. What was once thought to be impossible, Democrats have seen their lead collapse in the Weinergate special election and are now in complete panic mode, spewing out negative ads ahead of the Tuesday election.
A new poll released on Friday showed Bob Turner, the Republican, with a six-point lead over Mr. Weprin. The election is on Tuesday, and even though lawmakers have discussed eliminating the district in redistricting next year, the race has become symbolically important as an indication of how much Mr. Obama’s unpopularity might affect other Democratic candidates.
“This has been a difficult campaign, and this campaign has had some major operational problems,” said Assemblyman Vito J. Lopez, chairman of the Brooklyn Democratic Party.
Mr. Lopez said that he expected Mr. Weprin to win, but that the campaign needed to become much more aggressive in the final days.
It is a “PERFECT STORM” against Democrats in NY-9. Weprin is facing the backlash of the Weiner scandal and New Yorkers disgust, Barack Obama’s poor job approval numbers, especially in dealing with the economy and the unanimous belief that the country is headed in the wrong direction. It is Obama’s reverse coattails that is costing Democrats dearly in political elections. What does this mean for 2012?
Many Democratic strategists are privately blaming Obama for their party’s difficulties in both districts and worry that if his numbers don’t improve he could hurt their chances at retaking the House in 2012.
What is the underlying problem for Democrats and namely Barack Obama in this Congressional race, the NY-9 special election is being billed as vote against Obama, Democrats and the direction of the country. According to the polling data, Barack Obama has 43% favorability and a 54% unfavorable. OUCH, don’t look for Obama to be making any appearances for Weprin. Democrats in Brooklyn and Queens have soured on Obama, the economy and the direction of the country.
Likely voters in the district are overwhelmingly pessimistic, with 74 percent saying the country is headed in the wrong direction; Turner wins a striking 94 percent of those voters. Mood toward the direction of New York is much rosier, though — a 47-percent plurality say the Empire State is on the right track.
The economy remains voters’ top concern, with 32 percent listing it as the most important factor in making their decision, including nearly half of Turner’s supporters. But there is a possible beacon for Weprin: Medicare and Social Security isn’t far behind at just 28 percent, and that’s been the focus of late, with Democrats falling back to their successful strategy that helped win them a GOP seat in the western New York’s 26th District this May.
A recent Megellam survey also has the GOP candidate Turner ahead of Democrat Weprin, 44.6% to 40.4%.
More from Moe Lane at Red State on the Congressional races NY-9 and NV-2.

Wallstreet Has Unfavorable Opinion Of Obama’s Job Speech … Dow Down 303.68 points, 2.7%, Falls Below 11,000
“Pass the bill, pass the bill, pass the bill” … Doesn’t appear that Wall street is too impressed with Obama’s jobs bill. Seems that the DOW is more like, “PASS ON THE BILL”.
The US markets were down triple digits following Obama’s job speech as the NY Times says that the US markets are following the economic uncertainty in Europe. Really, because it has nothing to do with the economic situation in the United States and a jobs plan that Obama is insisting that Congress pass immediately as all or nothing. Sorry President Obama, it does not work that way. Especially coming from a failed jobs Prez like you.
“Even yesterday’s speech raises questions of whether there will be support for fiscal policy,” he said about the president’s jobs address.
Mr. Obama’s plan focused on generating jobs and included a number of tax cuts and spending proposals, like an extension and expansion of the cut in payroll taxes and a tax holiday for small businesses for hiring new employees.
Mr. Ballew said that questions persisted about how much of the proposal would pass.
What was the markets reaction a day after Barack Obama’s more of the same class warfare, jobs speech … the Dow lost 303.68 points, 2.7% and fell below 11,000 to 10,992.13. What of Obama’s job speech, other than most of it was a repetition of previously failed Obama policies. There is a reason why only 19% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction. The answer cannot be more of the same of this Presidents ideas. We already had a $787 billion stimulus bill that failed miserably, now Obama wants to do son of stimulus as have Congress pass a $447 billion jobs bill. Sorry if Americans are skeptical, especially when it sounded like an awful lot of class warfare in the speech. Some of his ideas might be ok, seeing that they have been out there for years, Obama just has shelved them. But the idea of coupon job hiring is a farce. Temporary infrastructure jobs, that is not the answer. Get the government out of the way of business … that can only happen when Obama is defeated in 2012.
What was most peculiar though from Obama’s speech was not his repeated comment of “pass the bill”, that was just an annoyance after the third time it was said. It was what Obama did not say as opposed to the dribble, fabrications and spin from his jobs campaign speech. As stated at Michelle Malkin, not once were “green jobs” mentioned. Rather odd, hasn’t “green” jobs and technology been the corner stone of the Obama economy? Maybe he left it out do to the some what scandalous relationship with the WH and the now bankrupt Solyndra what receoved $500 million in stimulus monies.
Let’s face it, in last nights speech the only job that Obama was looking to save was his own.
UPDATE I: How more annoying could Obama be that constantly repeating the phrase, “pass this jobs bill” … how about the spam emails that the WH sent to reporters. Good grief Barack, a little over kill don’t you think?

“Fast & Furious” Continues … Third Gun Found Linked to the Murder of Border Agent Brian Terry
The “Fast & Furious” story continues … cover ups and scandals have a way of doing that, don’t they?
According to a FOX News exclusive, a third gun has been found at the murder scene of border agent Brian Terry linked to the ill conceived “Fast & Furious”. Interesting, as per initial federal agency accounts, police only found two guns at the murder scene tied to the scandalous “Operation Fast & Furious”.
Sources say emails support their contention that the FBI concealed evidence to protect a confidential informant. Sources close to the Terry case say the FBI informant works inside a major Mexican cartel and provided the money to obtain the weapons used to kill Terry.
Unlike the two AK-style assault weapons found at the scene, the third weapon could more easily be linked to the informant. To prevent that from happening, sources say, the third gun “disappeared.”
In addition to the emails obtained by Fox News, an audio recording from a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent investigating the Terry case seems to confirm the existence of a third weapon. In that conversation, the agent refers to an “SKS assault rifle out of Texas” found at the Terry murder scene south of Tucson.
Is the cover up worse than the crime? What a disgrace that the FBI would try and cover up the truth. In this case, it might be the same seeing that a US border agent was murdered at the hands of what has to be to most ignorant operation ever put forth with a premise that defies logic. The giving of guns to drug cartels in to track them. What’s next, giving nukes to Iran to see who they eventually wind up with?
This scandal will have legs, even though the liberal MSM seems to not want to cover it. What’s the matter media, afraid that the scandal will go straight to the Obama White House? Is it any wonder why Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder is denying any knowledge of the “Fast & Furious” debacle. Eventually, some one is going to take the fall, it is just a matter of time to see how far up the food chain this goes.
