This Doctor was extremely negligent in performing his duties. He got paid $150k PER MONTH, and was just another leech sucking off of Michael Jackson.
Granted, while Jackson himself may have added to the cocktail of drugs Murray was already giving him—just the fact alone that any Dr. would administer Propofol on his own in these quantities is mindblowing. Add to that, that after discovering Micheal in a non-responsive state- the Doctor contacted his BodyGuard and not 911? He waited over 25 minutes to even contact the first person.
To me, it shows a severe lack of Professional scrutiny. At a minimum, I do feel the Doctor should be charged with aggravated Manslaughter.
That huge salary further damaged his ego, and led him to be blinded by the limelight of treating such an infamous client—also caused Murray to make poor decisions. As a Doctor, you take an oath to always put the health, well-being and livelihood of all you treat FIRST. Not worrying about the Media, and covering up what was an accidental overdose at the hands of a Physician who should have known better.
