Mike Huckabee Says Donald Trump Should Replace Treasury Secretary Geithner as US Credit Downgraded
Calls for Treasury Secretary Geithner to resign, but who should replace him?
As the US economy flounders, continues to be an abysmal failure and the US credit rating for the first time ever was downgraded by S&P, there are calls by many for the Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner to resign. GOP Presidential candidate and House Rep. Michele Bachmann has demanded that Barack Obama ask for Geithner’s resignation. Bachmann had voted against the debt limit bill that virtually did nothing to control spending and deal with the paying down the debt. Add US Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) to the list as well.
VIDEO Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit
“This president has destroyed the credit rating of the United States through failed economic policies and his inability to control government spending… President Obama is destroying the foundation’s of our economy one beam at a time. I call on the president to seek the immediate resignation of Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and to submit a plan with his list of cuts to balance the budget this year, turn the economy around and put our people back to work.”
It is obvious that Barack Obama, Tim Geithner and the rest of “The One’s” economic teams policies, philosophies and agendas have failed in a major way. So much that most all of Obama’s economic team has left office. Even Obama’s former economic adviser Christine Roemer has stated that we are “pretty darn F*CKED”. Geithner is one of the few original economic advisers that remain from Obama’s original clan, it is time for his misguided ways to go. Remember back in April 2011 when Geithner said, as reported at The Hill, “there is no chance that the U.S. will lose its top credit rating.” He could never have been more wrong.
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said Tuesday there is “no risk” the U.S. will lose its top credit rating amid a new analysis that revised its outlook on American debt to “negative.”
There is no chance that the U.S. will lose its top credit rating, Geithner said, forcefully disputing the notion that S&P or other ratings services might downgrade U.S. bonds from their current AAA rating.
“No risk of that, no risk,” Geithner said on the Fox Business Network.
OOPS! So Geithner must go, but who should replace him? On the FOX News channel, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said that maybe we should ask The Donald. Wouldn’t that be quite the shake up; however, do not hold you’re breath. Such a change by Obama would show everyone the admission that his policies have failed and there is no need for them or Obama any longer. The fact of the matter is that Obama has failed, his policies have made matters worse and his failed “porkulus” stimulus did nothing but add billions to the debt. This is no longer about getting America back to work and fixing the economy at all cost, ITS ABOUT OBAMA’s REELECTION.
“Ask Donald Trump to be Treasury secretary,” Mike Huckabee said on Fox News Channel.
The former Arkansas governor elaborated: “Have Donald Trump take the job for 90 days. It’s a game changer.”
“Right now, the president needs something that is truly a game changer, and he doesn’t have that in Geithner,” Huckabee said.
EXIT QUESTION: Does Obama care about America, or just his reelection?

i believe that donald is only rich on paper.
[...] a blessing for America, NOT! Since S&P has downgraded the US credit rating, there have been calls for Turbo-Tax Timmy to step down. Geithner has been part of the Obama economic team that has continually failed to turn [...]
No, Trump is not just rich on paper. He’s be VERY good to have in place as an economic advisor.
One thing I’ve read about old Trump is all 30K of his employees LOVE to work for him. He’s apparently an excellent boss and that does say a lot.
IMO we should have this downgrade in our economic status while the current administration is in office. Just as we “little people” lose our credit score, why not show the world (and voters) what our current administration has done with OUR money? BTW, it IS our money, not theirs. I’m still pissed as hell over the stimulus. That was total BS.
