Barack Obama Explains His Low Poll Numbers Due to High Gas Prices

Speaking at a fund raiser in California, President Barack Obama suggested that his low and falling poll numbers are a result of the rising gas prices. Hmm, did Obama just admit that he had low job approval polling numbers?  As reported at The Hill:

Speaking to supporters at his sixth fundraising event in California, Obama conceded that gas prices are having an effect on how people view his administration, but indicated he is prepared to weather the storm.

“My poll numbers go up and down depending on the latest crisis and right now gas prices are weighing heavily on people,” he told a gathering of backers at a Los Angeles restaurant, according to a pool report.

Really Mr. President, you think your low poll numbers are just because of gas prices? if that is the case, wait until they spike to $5 and $6 nationally. Of course Americans pain at the pump have a direct affect on people’s mood;  however, it is more than just that. Gasoline was not an issue when the Democrats took a shellacking in the 2010 midterm elections.  Polling numbers are not just a result of crisis, they are a result of policies, agenda and how you handle a crisis. Or in Obama’s case, a multitude of crisis’s he created. Libya comes to mind.

JOBS & GAS PRICES WILL WEIGH ON OBAMA FROM NOW UNTIL 2012.

This President has done little to improve either. In fact his policies and liberal agenda have most likely made the job recovery worse and his “green” or nothing energy policy has become a fiasco. Barack Obama is finally learning that there will be know one else to blame except himself in 2012. Obama will not be able to say what he plans to do to solve the problems as he has had 4 years to do so and has done nothing but exacerbate the issues.

And its not just gas prices. Those increases have impacted all items we buy to increase as well. This President was warned of inflation … guess what.

Americans now see how much it cost to buy milk and bread … as Obama says let them eat cake and organizes a commission to look into gas prices. As Senator didn’t he blame this on Bush and his oil buddies making money? What say you now Organizer in Chief?

Hey Barry, you need to go look in a mirror. The person you see is the one responsible for the high gas prices.

Went to buy a green pepper this week , ONE DOLLAR!!! Never in my life would I have thought a lowly green pepper would cost that much. I didn’t buy it. When I shop I go by how many gallons of gas will this product buy. When I have cut back everywhere [possible, what next? I am so angry and seething with anger and can’t wait until 2012.

Make him pay for his gas to ride around in his bat mobile and pay for gas for his caravan of cars.

It would be so nice to cure the problem right away.
Waiting for the end of 2012 just permits the distribution
even more of our money to recipients that not only do
not have any ‘skin in the game’ but will not likely be
subject to prosecution and payback. We do not have
an accounting of where the funds are being allocated.

      Surely, Barry—-you can’t be serious?????

LOL What excuse will he attempt to use next?

“My poll numbers go up and down depending on the latest tomato and orange crops and right now produce prices are weighing heavily on people”.

With all due respect, Mr. President- you are clearly a delusional, egotistical, elitist, Anti-American SOCIALIST with your head clearly buried in the deep sands of the Sahara Desert.
