17 year old Phylicia Simone Barnes has been missing since December 28, 2010. She disappeared while visiting her sister in Baltimore, MD. Phylicia Barnes, a senior at Union Academy in Monroe, North Carolina, was visiting her half-sister and other relatives in Baltimore on her Christmas vacation.

Two bodies were discovered the other day in the Susquehanna River in Maryland. Sadly, one of them has been identified as Phylicia Barnes, the missing North Carolina honors student. Dental records were used in the ID. The other body located was that of a man. Autopsies are supposed to be completed Thursday; however, is is not clear from police reports whether there is a connection between the two bobies found.
The body of a 17-year-old honor student from North Carolina — missing since December — has been found in a Maryland river, her father said Thursday.
Russel Barnes said that a female body found Wednesday in the Susquehanna River in Maryland is that of his daughter, Phylicia Barnes. The father said he’d learned as much after talking with authorities.

i really don’t know what this world has come to. look at this beautiful young girl Phylicia?
i have been seeing more cases as hers, i find it very sickening and scarey.
how sick and depraved can one be to hurt a baby like Phylicia or anyone else?

Predators are everywhere. It’s sickening what society has become. You just don’t feel safe anymore when you have sicko’s just looking for their next victim.
What a sad society we have become.
