All the Presidents Czars … President Obama will Ignore ‘Czar’ Ban in the 2011 Spending Package

President Barack Obama plans on disregardiging the “czar” ban in the 2011 spending package where House Republicans added on language to cut the salaries for four Obama czars, health care, climate change, autos and manufacturing, and urban affairs. As reported at the Politico, Obama says, “he’s not obligated to comply”.

The anti-czar language in the spending bill marked a victory for Republicans and conservative pundits, who accused the administration of giving unelected bureaucrats too much power within the White House. But the language didn’t appear to have any immediate impact on Obama’s staff.

House Republicans attached an amendment to a spending bill that passed the chamber in February to block funding for nine White House policy advisers. Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise, the author of that amendment, warned at the time against what he called “a very disturbing proliferation of czars” under Obama.

Does it really shock any one that this president would disregard anything that would limit the power of unelected individuals? As if Obama has listenedd to the will of the people and the mood of the country since he has been in office. Because Obamacare was a great example of Obama’s listening to the people.

He may “not be obligated to comply,” but the Congress is not obligated pay. Let them work for free.

What good is it making a deal with this President if he is just going to cherry pick what he deems appropriate to follow in a piece of legislation?

Let’s get serious. Hold the President in contempt of Congress. Haul him before a House panel to explain his constitutional position for ignoring Congressional direction. He is not above the Law.

the campaigner in chief cares a lot more about spending our tax dollars flying around the country collecting money for his re-election campaign and playing golf with his friends than he does about honoring our laws and us poor, dumb, and unwashed taxpayers.

Congress should defund every dept. that works for the administration. Without money, this idiot will be shut down.

When you are a crook and a thug, your word means nothing.

Looks like more and the same.
