Sign of the Times: Democrats in Battleground States Like Missouri Now Opposing Obamacare

For those of you in the Democrat party who thought that the passage of Obamacare would be forgot, think again.

Democrats in battleground states are now turning tail and running away from Obamacare. Democrat Missouri AG Chris Koster has  broke with his party and urged afederal judge to invalidate the individual mandate of Obama’s new health care law. Obamacare will be an albatross around the neck of democrats for years to come and will be a big issue in the 2012 elections.

Mr. Koster’s action followed months of pressure from state Republicans that he join attorneys general from other states who are challenging the constitutionality of the law.

Rather than join the litigation, however, Mr. Koster chose to file a “friend of the court” brief in the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, in Atlanta, which is reviewing one of five challenges to the act that have moved into the midlevel appellate courts.

Moe Lane discusses the AG’s approach to his opposition to Obamacare in more detail.

Barack Obama and his minions thought that they could pass Obamacare against the will of the American people because one, they would learn to like it and two, they would have long forgot the vote by now. Never has an administration been so wrong. Then again, such misguided perceptions of “We the People” have become par for the course with Barack Obama’s out of touch liberal agenda.

Obamacare, the gift that keeps on giving to the GOP. How will Democrats explain their “yea” vote to the people on Obamacare?
