A 14 year old girl, Hena Akhter, was sentenced to 101 lashes from the imam from the local mosque as punishment for adultery. She was brought out into public and lashed for her crimes. According to CNN, she dropped at 70 lashes. She dies a week later from her injuries declaring in her dying words to her mother that she was innocent.
Want to know what passes for female adultery? How about being raped. As stated at Patterico’s Pontifications, could there be a more barbaric interpretation to adultery. A woman to prove she was raped cannot do so without four witnesses to back her up. What!
Many months later on a winter night, as Hena’s sister Alya told it, Hena was walking from her room to an outdoor toilet when Mahbub Khan gagged her with cloth, forced her behind nearby shrubbery and beat and raped her.
Hena struggled to escape, Alya told CNN. Mahbub Khan’s wife heard Hena’s muffled screams and when she found Hena with her husband, she dragged the teenage girl back to her hut, beat her and trampled her on the floor.
The next day, the village elders met to discuss the case at Mahbub Khan’s house, Alya said. The imam pronounced his fatwa. Khan and Hena were found guilty of an illicit relationship. Her punishment under sharia or Islamic law was 101 lashes; his 201.

Makes me so angry to read this, Islam is indeed both WICKED and EVIL….Especially with Sharia Law towards WOMEN and CHILDREN! Hello????? She was 14 years old when she was RAPED and she pays for this with her life? I am outraged!

You know Rusty I wish I could laugh but I just can’t. This is just discusting and here we are putting our boys and girls in the Armed services in harms way to help these idiots. Those who are caught up in Sharia law are following a lifestyle of the 7th century. There is no such thing imo as a valid religion releated to the Muslum or Islamic culture.

#10, Well that is an interesting fact, Dolf and thus validates my previous postings that, essentially- no matter where you go–it is still clearly a “Man’s” World.
How does Queen Beatrix allow such discrimination when she herself is a female? Hnnnnnnnn…..pretty messed up over there, then too…isn’t it? Which political party is this of which you refer to? As far as Marriage Rights for Gay people—there are several states in the US who as you know have legalized it. So, live and let live is what I say. The World can certainly use more love, harmony and matrimony. Please let’s not talk Religion because as mere Mortals, we are all Sinners. Including all those Catholic Priests who were pedophiles that the Archdiocese and Vatican had to pay out millions upon millions of dollars bc they hid the truth, and covered it up for years.
I think Catholic Priests and Nuns should be allowed to marry, hence my change to now being a Protestant. Catholic at heart, Protestant now by choice. FYI, we do have many Gay priests now in the US, both in Catholic Churches and through out various Religions of choice. Openly gay. There are references to occurances of homosexuality in the Bible, so I say get over it people.

5 key things about islam
1. mythical beliefs – all religions have these (faith) because its part of being a religion: having beliefs without proof until after the believer dies. the problem is people will believe almost anything.
2. totalitarianism – islam has no seperation of church and state: sharia law governs all. there is no free will in islam: only submission to the will of allah as conveniently determined by the imams who spew vapors to feather their own nests. there are no moderate muslims: they all support sharia law.
3. violence – islam leads the pack of all religions in violent tenets for their ideology & history: having eternal canonical imperatives for supremacy at all costs and calling for violence & intimidation as basic tools to achieve these goals.
4. dishonesty – only islam has dishonesty as a fundamental tenet: this stems from allah speaking to mohamhead & abrogation in the koran which is used to explain how mo’s peaceful early life was superseded by his warlord role later.
5. misogyny – present day islam is still rooted in 8th century social ethics: treating females as property of men good only for children, severely limiting their activities, dressing them in shower curtains and worse.

there really are NO redeeming qualities for this muddled pile of propaganda.
