Woman’s Rights in Islam and Sharia Law … 14 Year Old Girl Raped and Lashed to Death, Charged with Adultery

 Woman’s rights in Islam …

A 14 year old girl, Hena Akhter, was sentenced to 101 lashes from the imam from the local mosque as punishment for adultery. She was brought out into public and lashed for her crimes. According to CNN, she dropped at 70 lashes. She dies a week later from her injuries declaring in her dying words to her mother that she was innocent.

Want to know what passes for female adultery? How about being raped. As stated at Patterico’s Pontifications, could there be a more barbaric interpretation to adultery. A woman to prove she was raped cannot do so without four witnesses to back her up. What!

Many months later on a winter night, as Hena’s sister Alya told it, Hena was walking from her room to an outdoor toilet when Mahbub Khan gagged her with cloth, forced her behind nearby shrubbery and beat and raped her.

Hena struggled to escape, Alya told CNN. Mahbub Khan’s wife heard Hena’s muffled screams and when she found Hena with her husband, she dragged the teenage girl back to her hut, beat her and trampled her on the floor.

The next day, the village elders met to discuss the case at Mahbub Khan’s house, Alya said. The imam pronounced his fatwa. Khan and Hena were found guilty of an illicit relationship. Her punishment under sharia or Islamic law was 101 lashes; his 201.

Crimes against humanity like this are unspeakable.

Shouldn’t this also be filed under WTF??????????

Makes me so angry to read this, Islam is indeed both WICKED and EVIL….Especially with Sharia Law towards WOMEN and CHILDREN! Hello????? She was 14 years old when she was RAPED and she pays for this with her life? I am outraged!

RIP Hena, you are in God’s hands now…Allah sucks and “he” and your Muslim Religion is TWISTED.

Ah, come on people. This is just one person taking the extreme view of the peaceful religion. The rest of the muslims should soon be raging in the streets against this nonconformist in 3,2,..

    3. Bill B on March 31st, 2011 7:52 am

You know Rusty I wish I could laugh but I just can’t. This is just discusting and here we are putting our boys and girls in the Armed services in harms way to help these idiots. They have never and will never welcome our help. You could hand them a $1,000 and as soon as you turn your back to walk away there will be a gun pointing at you.

the biblical laws are also not to kind for women.

but..this sucks. thats what you get when you let the judging be done by religious ppl.

    5. NGBoston on March 31st, 2011 8:59 am

Well, yes, Dolf from Amsterdam you make a good and valid point.

Let’s move forward to the 21st Century all now shall we? All over History, and religion- Women have never been given the same equality or rights men have to this very day.

And you say….but that sucks. Well, yes it sure as hell does. Let’s face the facts—Internationally and domestically—while the female race has made huge progress, especially here in the US, in many Third World Countries they have no face, no place and they are considered as nothing but mere slaves. It’s an incredible abuse of Human Rights, no matter which way you categorize it.

And, BTW, it’s still a Man’s World here in the US as well. Progress since the 1930′s for Women. Sure. Equality= NEVER

Those who are caught up in Sharia law are following a lifestyle of the 7th century. There is no such thing imo as a valid religion releated to the Muslum or Islamic culture.

GOD is love while Allah rests in hate.

Women and young girls in that culture are chattel or property. These muslum idiots are going to get a real suprise when they have to face judgement.

      Texas GrandFather says,

“GOD is love while Allah rests in hate.”

      That is the bare truth.

    10. Dolf on April 1st, 2011 2:26 am

@5 Here in NL there is a political party who doesn’t allow women in politics, rightwing christians from our own biblebelt.

and that moving forward…does that also include marriage rights for gay ppl?

@6: They must, because Allah doesn’t really approve of these practices.

Hell is packed with religious ppl!!
(I wonder how many popes are not in hell, 1 or 2?)

    11. NGBoston on April 1st, 2011 11:51 am

#10, Well that is an interesting fact, Dolf and thus validates my previous postings that, essentially- no matter where you go–it is still clearly a “Man’s” World.

How does Queen Beatrix allow such discrimination when she herself is a female? Hnnnnnnnn…..pretty messed up over there, then too…isn’t it? Which political party is this of which you refer to? Can the Citizens of all the counties in NL uprise, protest and overrule such an antiquated party? That’s absurd.

As far as Marriage Rights for Gay people—there are several states in the US who as you know have legalized it. So, live and let live is what I say. The World can certainly use more love, harmony and matrimony. Please let’s not talk Religion because as mere Mortals, we are all Sinners. Including all those Catholic Priests who were pedophiles that the Archdiocese and Vatican had to pay out millions upon millions of dollars bc they hid the truth, and covered it up for years.

I think Catholic Priests and Nuns should be allowed to marry, hence my change to now being a Protestant. Catholic at heart, Protestant now by choice. FYI, we do have many Gay priests now in the US, both in Catholic Churches and through out various Religions of choice. Openly gay. There are references to occurances of homosexuality in the Bible, so I say get over it people.

      P.S. I hpoe the 201 killed him?

    15. Dolf on April 4th, 2011 9:27 am

@11, queen is above the law, pm is responsible for her actions (she has to get his ok on what she says in public).

This is the 3rd queen in a row (Wilhemina, Juliana, Beatrix) so the girls have been very good for us

The party I was talking about: Staatkundig Gereformeerde Partij (SGP).
They usual get 1 seat and nobody really listens to them.

I wholehartely concur with your live & let live!!

    16. Dolf on April 4th, 2011 9:27 am

Which queen are you talking about?

    17. ecks why on April 26th, 2011 11:39 am

islam is a horrible ideology for human rights

      5 key things about islam

      1. mythical beliefs – all religions have these (faith) because its part of being a religion: having beliefs without proof until after the believer dies. the problem is people will believe almost anything.

      2. totalitarianism – islam has no seperation of church and state: sharia law governs all. there is no free will in islam: only submission to the will of allah as conveniently determined by the imams who spew vapors to feather their own nests. there are no moderate muslims: they all support sharia law.

      3. violence – islam leads the pack of all religions in violent tenets for their ideology & history: having eternal canonical imperatives for supremacy at all costs and calling for violence & intimidation as basic tools to achieve these goals.

      4. dishonesty – only islam has dishonesty as a fundamental tenet: this stems from allah speaking to mohamhead & abrogation in the koran which is used to explain how mo’s peaceful early life was superseded by his warlord role later.

      5. misogyny – present day islam is still rooted in 8th century social ethics: treating females as property of men good only for children, severely limiting their activities, dressing them in shower curtains and worse.

      conclusions ??

there really are NO redeeming qualities for this muddled pile of propaganda.

islam is just another fascist totalitarian ideology used by power hungry fanatics on yet another quest for worldwide domination and includes all the usual human rights abuses & suppression of freedoms.
