RSSFOX NEWS Destroys Cable News Competition (MSNBC,CNN) in 2010 Ratings
Is it really considered a cable news competition when the ratings resemble total domination?
Once again FOX NEWS has completely dominated the competition in the cable news wars in 2010. The American people have spoke with their TV remote controls and the winner is hands down FOX News. This obviously comes as a complete horror to the Left and Progressives; however, there is no denying that Americans are watching Fox and not MSNBC or CNN. Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews et all at MSNBC can complain all they want about how Fox is evil and bias, the American people, middle class and independents, are obviously getting their news and commentary from FOX.
The Nielsen numbers are in for 2010, and in the battle for cable news ratings supremacy, Fox News took the title for the ninth year in a row – bludgeoning the competition for another year.
The blowout comes on the heels on Fox News’ surging 2009, when the News Corp.-owned channel posted its highest-rated year in the network’s 13-year history. (Overall, cable news audiences were down across the board — though FNC’s decline was from a high-water mark.) …
For average primetime and total viewers in 2010, Fox News beat its cable news competitors (CNN, MSNBC and HLN) combined in total viewers — and we outslugged CNN and MSNBC combined in “demo.”
Fox owned the top 12 cable news shows in average total viewers and swept the top 10 among 25-54-year-olds(MSNBC’s “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” came in 13th and 11th, respectively). Even the nightly repeat of the “O’Reilly Factor” averaged more viewers than MSNBC and CNN shows.
From the Orlando Sentinel, “Fox News Channel was tops in cable news for 2010. Ratings released today show that Fox News averaged 2 million viewers in prime time and far outdistanced MSNBC (764,000), CNN (591,000) and HLN (444,000).
As stated by Doug Ross, in the market place of ideas, CNN abd MSNBC are woefully lacking.
Is it any wonder why the MSM, President Obama and the White House atatcked and tried to ban FOX News to try to discredit them as a news source. The spread of ideas and questioning government, the job of the MSM, is a dangerous notion to Obamanation.

I liked CNN when the reported the News. Instead they manufactured News.
