MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OBAMA AND DEMOCRATS … 9.8% UNEMPLOYMENT.
Just stunning!!! Can we finally call the Obama job recovery and economic plan for what it is, a complete and total fiasco? The November job numbers are in and they are a complete unmitigated disaster … 39,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate is now up to 9.8%. So much for the experts, it was expected that unemployment would remain at 9.6% and we would gain 140,000 jobs. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
U.S. employment increased far less than expected in November and the jobless rate jumped to a seven-month high of 9.8 percent, dampening hopes for a self-sustaining economic recovery.
Nonfarm payrolls rose 39,000, with private hiring gaining only 50,000, the Labor Department said. However, overall employment for September and October was revised to show 38,000 more jobs than previously estimated.
Economists had expected payrolls to increase 140,000 last month and the unemployment rate to be unchanged at 9.6 percent.

The unemployment rate edged up to 9.8 percent in November, and nonfarm payroll
employment was little changed (+39,000), the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
reported today. Temporary help services and health care continued to add jobs
over the month, while employment fell in retail trade. Employment in most major
industries changed little in November.
Among the major worker groups, the unemployment rates for adult men (10.0 per-
cent), adult women (8.4 percent), whites (8.9 percent), and Hispanics (13.2 per-
cent) edged up in November. The jobless rate for blacks (16.0 percent) showed
little change over the month, while the rate for teenagers declined to 24.6 per-
cent. The jobless rate for Asians was 7.6 percent, not seasonally adjusted.
Note to President Barack Hussein Obama and the clueless Democrats … YOU DO NOT INCREASE TAXES ON ANY ONE DURING A RECESSION!!! To Democrats, stop your “Chicken crap” nonsense with tax votes that are done to strictly promote class warfare, but only waste tax payer dollars and cause more angst with the American public and business. Exactly what is Obama and Democrats trying to do by continuing to play games with not improving tax cuts for all, crashing the stock market?

“Unfortunately, Democratic leaders continue to insist on wasting time with meaningless votes as they try to make it as difficult as possible to stop their job-killing tax hike. Families and small businesses have had enough of politicians in Washington talking about creating jobs while doing everything in their power to kill more jobs. This is exactly the kind of Washington game-playing the American people voted against on Election Day. The lame-duck Congress should do the right thing and vote immediately to cut spending and stop all the tax hikes. If they don’t, the new House majority will in January.
“As economists and small business owners have warned, the last thing our economy needs right now is a job-killing tax hike. So much for that job recovery that the liberal MSM wants to falsely tell the American publican. Not even the NY Times can spin 9.8% unemployment.
Are Democrats more worried about politics and posturing for the 2012 elections than caring about job creation and the American people? Its time to stop pandering to your base and care about all the people and the United States.

Looks like the Other McCain is referencing a Merry Christmas and Ho, Ho, Ho Happy Holidays with today’s surprise economic Christmas present from Obama and the Democrats.
UPDATE III:November’s dismal job reports dashed the expectations of economists, many of whom had predicted much more robust job growth. How could the US Senate possibly vote for any tax increases on any American with these terrible unemployment numbers?

Awful. That’s the best one can say about the November employment report. The headline — that unemployment jumped to 9.8 percent — is not really the bad news. If and when the economy does catch fire, droves of discouraged workers will flood back into the labor market and the rate will easily exceed 10 percent. So a rising unemployment rate is not really the main concern.
Democrats have been so caught up with passing their liberal agenda for the past two years that they managed to completely disregard what was supposed to be their primary goal, JOBS. Instead, it was about Obamacare, Cap & Trade, a ridiculous stimulus package, lowering the volume of commercials and telling you what your children should eat. As stated at Outside the Beltway … It’s The Economy, Stupid!

Pay cut for Obama and his outrageous spending. What has he done to help We The People or even earned a paycheck? What does he make a yr about $400,000 plus his investments. And we have to layoff our policemen and firefighters that are here to keep us safe. The whole d~~n administration sucks!!!

8 years of bush tax cuts did really well…well for the rich maybe. Anyone making more than a million I think will be ok. Saying it will kill jobs because the rich will stop spending is such b.s..look at where we’re at now because of it.

You know..you say that…republicans claimed it cost 200 million or whatever figure. But what Hanity didn’t tell you is that Bush did the same exact thing…and he actually took more vacations than Obama did…costing more of our tax dollars.
What a flop, what a failure, no concept as to what he should be doing. Just whines, dumps and blames everyone else. A total waste of time and money. I don’t see where anyone was impressed by his performance in the foreign countries. . He always looks and acts like a fool. One embarrassment on top of the other. The money he spent that we couldn’t afford was outrageous.
Are you aware that the top 1% that pay income tax, pay 40% of all income tax collected?
Are you also aware that Bill Gates and Warren Buffet who support the tax hikes don’t pay all that much in taxes because they give most of their earnings to charities they have created?
Further more, NO ONE is forcing Gates and Buffet to take all the deductions they take. They are most welcome to write the US Treasury a check anytime they wish. Why should those making $1 million start carrying a burden that those making $100 million are able to avoid with deductions?
Are you also aware the Barack has requested that the lame duck Congress give him an $11.4 billion INCREASE in spending next year?
This is of course so that when the GOP refuse him anything he wants, he can just open his little checkbook and buy it anyway.
And let me remind you, Gates and Buffet earned their hundreds of millions under much friendlier tax rules, socked it away to live on and now donate “earnings” to charities for tax deductions.
A little early for the Christmas visit isn’t it? He tells them how America is all the way behind them, what ya want to bet he doesn’t visit again? He sure won’t pass up his Christmas vacation for our troops.
Well, conservative commenters here thought that with the election of a republican congress businesses would suddenly feel a surge of confidence and use their cash stock pile to hire.
Clearly this has not happened.
Could it be that there are many other factors involved, such as…..lack of demand?
Back to healthcare. The cost to business has been going up for years. Even if Obamacare was not passed it would have risen 20%.

Well questionman, wait a few weeks and see if he returns to visit the troops AT Christmas. I doubt it. I just think it’s more like a “let me get this over with” photo op visit. Take a look at the soldier’s faces behind him. Anybody look happy? He’s apologized too many times. Think those soldiers are happy about that?

Speaking of making up lies questionman, I did not say he was anti-American. Where else could someone that never held a job in his life be voted President of the United States, because people voted for an ideal? He wrote a check his ass can’t cash.

Obama tried to make that person look stupid, it was also sarcastic like he said a dirty word or something and the attitude of how dare you question me. Then the hesitation before he began the rest of his speech.
He made a point of mentioning he was Commander and Chief and also the President. Most unfortunate for us. He’s a community organizer at best. I don’t think he even sounded sincere. He makes you want to barf….
