Fox News “Fair & Balanced” Offered Best Election Eve Coverage … Shocker, Even Better Than MSNBC

There is a reason why Fox News is called “Fair & Balanced”.

The results are in and FOX News offered a more balanced and professional coverage of the 2010 midterm election. During the hours of coverage on FOX, the cable news giant brought in a combination of anaysts on the right, left and center. Of course there were times that there was some smiles and glee on the ride of FOX News personalities, like when Bill O’Reilly wishfully predicted the demise of the despicable Florida House Rep Alan Grayson. As fate would have it, seconds later it was announced Grayson had lost in a landslide. However, clearly FOX News’ coverage was the best.

Fox News’ key decision in their approach to covering the election last night was putting their heaviest hitters on the bench, choosing their up-and-comers Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier to serve as hosts of their coverage, an overt effort to have their news anchors cover the election results instead of their opinion hosts (as opposed to MSNBC.)

The same cannot be said for the pathetic joke of what is called MSLSDMSNBC. Every so often when a key race was announced election night and a key Democrat lost a race, I would change the channel and go to MSNBC to see the reaction. After a while, I like many, could not take suffering what was passed off as election night coverage. There was only so long one could stare at a train wreck. The sophomoric humor, unprofessional and disrespectful behavior was a new low, even for NSNBC. The executives at NBC should be ashamed of what they passed off as a news product. Hopefully, new ownership at Comcast will gut the programming there.

Check out the unprofessional behavior of Crissy Matthews of MSNBC with sitting Congresswoman Michele Bauchmann (MN-R). You can hear Keith Olbermann laughing like a fool in the background as the sorry sad sacks of MSLSD pout, kick and scream at the election results coming in that did not put a thrill up Matthews leg.

Not only was MSNBC election night coverage bad, it’s focus was obviously only directed to the moonbat LEFT. Why should we be shocked seeing that every night of their cable shows is the same. At what point is some one going to step in and have adults run the operations over there. Honestly, it would have been better ratings if they just ran reruns of “To Catch a Predator”.

Following Loss of 60+ House Seats … Nancy Pelosi Says She Has “No Regrets!”

Speaker Nancy Pelosi just had the gavel ripped from her hands in one of the worst House beat downs in American election history … but she has “NO REGRETS”.

In an ABC interview with soon to be former Democrat House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi told Diane Sawyer that she had “no regrets”. Really Nancy, Really! You have no regrets that your socialist, liberal agenda has hurt the US economy more and has made it possible that there is 9.7% unemployment and people are still losing their jobs and homes. Really, you have no regrets? The Gateway Pundit provided a reminder of the carnage caused by Speaker Pelosi.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said today she has “no regrets” one day after a Republican landslide stripped her of the power that defined her historic tenure as the first female speaker of the House.

The California Democrat, who won a new two-year term in Tuesday’s election, said she has yet to consider what she will do now.

“I’ll have a conversation with my caucus, I’ll have a conversation with my family, and pray over it, and decide how to go forward,” she said in an exclusive ABC News interview with “World News” anchor Diane Sawyer. “But today isn’t that day.”

One would think that the Speaker would be remorseful for her destructive policies and actions. NOPE! AsWeasel Zippers states, please, do get on your broom and just go away.

Really Nancy, the new initial unemployment claims are in and  it is … 457,000 Weekly jobless claims.

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits increased 20,000 to a seasonally adjusted 457,000, the Labor Department said, reversing the prior week’s decline.

MSNBC Hateful Misfits: 2012 GOP Candidates Are “Nothing”–NOBODY Can Beat Obama–Not Even “Fat Boy” Christie

Never has MSNBC acted any lower than they did last night …

As election totals came in and the Democrats lost the House, 6 seats so far in the US Senate, Governorships across American and State Legislatures … the MSNBC “hate” gang got more and more ugly and misguided with their analysis. Watch as Chris Matthews, Olbermann et all make fools out of them self and show why MSNBC gets no ratings. Moonbat lunacy was alive and well last night on MSNBC. Chris Mathews making a “fat boy” reference, hmm?

The moon-bat bias announcers on MSLSD stated that the Republican bench has no one in 2012 and Obama could be any one of them even with a 9.5% unemployment rate. Really?

Video Hat Tip: Gateway Pundit

So none of these Republicans can beat Barack Obama, eh? Obama was on the ballot last night and was soundly defeated. No one has really declared yet for the GOP; however, the bench is hardly empty:

Former Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas
Governor Mitch Daniels of Indiana
Senator John Thune of South Dakota
Former Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts
Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona
Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich of Georgia
Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton of Maryland
Former Governor Jeb Bush of Florida
Senator John Cornyn of Texas

Former Governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin of Alaska

Republican Pat Toomey Wins Pennsylvania US Senate Race Over Sestak … GOP+6, Corbett (R) Wins Governorship & Numerous House Races

It has been a tremendous night for the GOP in the “Keystone” state of Pennsylvania …

Republican Pat Toomey has been declared the winner in the Pennsylvania US Senate race over Democrat Joe Sestak. This is a GOP pick up of the Senate seat formerly held by Republican turned Democrat turned Democrat primary loser Senator Arlen Specter.  This is GOP pickup #6.

Pat Toomey, the Republican conservative and newly elected Pennsylvania senator, says the Democrat he defeated, Rep. Joe Sestak, served his country honorably.

Toomey was elected to Arlen Specter’s Senate seat Tuesday in one of the most hotly contested races in the nation.

Speaking at an Allentown-area hotel, Toomey told the crowd that “the people of Pennsylvania have spoken and they have delivered us a victory.”

Sestak conceded defeat in a speech at a suburban Philadelphia hotel in his congressional district. Holding his 9-year-old daughter, Alex, he told the crowd, “It is now Alex time.”

Add Republican Tom Corbett to the list of GOP wins in PA as he won the Governorship over Democrat Dan Onorato. But wait, it gets even better for Republican with House races.

Big pick ups by the GOP over Democrat incumbents in Pennsylvania:

  • U.S. House District 3 – Republican Kelly has defeated incumbent Democrat Dahlkemper.
  • U.S. House District 7 – Republican Meehan defeated Democrat Lentz
  • U.S. House District 10-  Carney (D)  45% –  Marino (R)  55%
  • U.S. House District 11 –  Kanjorski (D)  45% –  Barletta (R)  55%
  • U.S. House District 8 –  Murphy (D)  47% –  Fitzpatrick (R)  53%
