20 year old Jenny Lyn Watson has been missing since Friday, November 19, 2010. Jenny Lyn Watson had returned home from school on Nov. 18 for Thanksgiving vacation. Watson is a junior dance major at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. The disappearance is described as extremely uncharacteristic for Jenni-Lynn Watson.
One call was made on the phone from a heavily wooded area near other residences according to authorities. Her Verizon LG enV3 cell phone with a blue cover was also missing; however, investigators examining her cell phone records state that her phone is currently turned off, so it can’t be used to help with the search.
Watson — 5-feet-2 and 100 lbs. with dirty blond hair and brown eyes — was reported missing after her family returned to their home Friday afternoon and found her gone. Her Verizon LG enV3 cell phone with a blue cover was also missing, but Watson’s purse — including her wallet and keys — were left at the home, police sources told FoxNews.com.
Authorities are focusing on the two mile stretch of wooded land because that is where Watson’s cell phone was last used.

Onondaga County Sheriff deputies, firefighters and U.S. Marshals are using information obtained from her cell phone records to search a large wooded area in the northern suburbs of Syracuse.
They are again deploying in a wooded area bounded by Morgan Road, Buckley Road, Henry Clay Boulevard and Interstate 481, about two miles from Watson’s home on Donegal Way. More than 600 acres of the zone were searched Tuesday and Wednesday.
Speculation has fallen on a relationship that Watson apparently ended recently. One of the missing girl’s friends told Fox that Watson had planned to marry the unnamed man, but that she recently broke off the engagement.
“The breakup didn’t go as cordially as it should have,” the friend said on condition of anonymity.
Earlier this week, another friend and classmate of Watson’s, Devin Ruic, told AOL News that Watson had been having problems with a man in the months leading up to her disappearance. “She told her friends he was treating her ‘stalker-ish,’ ” Ruic said.
