20 Year Old Jenni-Lyn Watson Missing Since 11/19/10 in Liverpool, NY (UPDATE: Body Found, Ex-Boyfriend Arrested)

20 year old Jenny Lyn Watson has been missing since Friday, November 19, 2010.  Jenny Lyn Watson had returned home from school on Nov. 18 for Thanksgiving vacation.  Watson is a junior dance major at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA.  The disappearance is described as extremely uncharacteristic for Jenni-Lynn Watson.

One call was made on the phone from a heavily wooded area near other residences according to authorities. Her Verizon LG enV3 cell phone with a blue cover was also missing; however, investigators examining her cell phone records state that her phone is currently turned off, so it can’t be used to help with the search.

Watson — 5-feet-2 and 100 lbs. with dirty blond hair and brown eyes — was reported missing after her family returned to their home Friday afternoon and found her gone. Her Verizon LG enV3 cell phone with a blue cover was also missing, but Watson’s purse — including her wallet and keys — were left at the home, police sources told FoxNews.com.

Authorities are focusing on the two mile stretch of wooded land because that is where Watson’s cell phone was last used.

Body Found Where Searchers Look for Missing College Student

When are these young women going to learn that when you break up with a guy, you must let your family and friends know the details so they can help provide protection.

I hope there is enough evidence to find and charge the perp.

The ex-boyfriend has been arrested. This means they have enough evidence to get an arrest.

Now they need to make the evidence stand up for a kidnapping and murder. This guy, if guilty, needs to meet his maker as soon as possible.

This is an awful story- something no family deserves to deal with- especially during the holiday season. I’m in no way defending this suspect, but too often these days younger people throw out words like “stalker-ish” without knowing the full consequence of their words/actions. Most break-ups don’t end “cordially”- that’s why they are break-ups. What her close friends have said helped police discover motive and lead to an arrest- I just hope he was the real perp.
