I read that this sweet girl had cancer and a prosthetic leg ~ bless her…

And that the PD had used their trained dogs during their investigation and it seems that the scent was in the parents vehicle…

      just makes one sick.

kitty, yes. They are saying cadaver dogs hit on two of the vehicles. Makes me wonder if this is similar to Casey Anthony where possibly step-mom had the child’s body in the vehicle for a time. Sick.

Sheriff said the dad is cooperating…but not the step-mom. As with Kyron Horman, dad said he hadn’t seen much of his wife since this started. WTF??? Did she use the fire as a distraction to run off and dispose of the child? Man o man.

I am so sick of reading about missing children, what civilized people harm children, this poor girl. I feel so bad no one stepped in to help her. I can only imagine what this child has gone thru and if the father were any part of this I hope the man roasts in hell. Now neighbors are saying the child was abused all along. WTF. Where is the compassion for children. Does NC have a death penalty? If so they can call me. I will be more than obliging to pull the trigger.

Brenda, that came to mind as well (the other cases)… so, so, sick…didn’t the investigators find remnants of this childs clothing in the fire embers as well? (destroying evidence)… more than likely she was murdered, the fire set and her body removed and taken elsewhere ~ oh, how incredibly sad. Let the dogs after em.

This little girl seemed like a darling… to read that this evil step-monster (she’s NO Mother!) wrote a ransom note, (and has summons a lawyer) and that others knew that this child was being beaten very often and that this monster’s hand was even swollen apparently from hitting Zahra’s prosthetic leg is unconscionable to me that THEY too allowed it to continue! Shame! Shame! Shame! uugghhh!!! Why didn’t someone contact authorities??? to help rescue this beautiful little girl who was suffering and living a hellish nightmare of an existence.

I have no words to describe them.

      unconscionable! absolutely unconscionable…

I can’t imagine not loving this child through not only her physical pain and suffering ~ loosing a leg and suffering from cancer, being hearing impaired not to mention the immense obstacles this child had to daily overcome ~ but to have to endure the emotional/verbal and physical abuse! AND the FATHER allowed it or participated in it? Shame on him, shame on the neighbors and others who knew and shame on that evil stepmonster!

Time to take this mutha out behind the tool shed…

It is only getting worse. Here’s what I found from a Hickory, NC news site this morning. Hard to believe now the father isn’t involved in some way.

      http://www.whky.com/news.asp?mode=detail&articleID=13843

Investigators are searching the Heartland Road area, on the job site of the girl’s father, Adam Baker. Cadaver dogs reportedly got a hit on a wood chipper on site. WHKY will continue to update this story as more details develop.

This is truly tragic that no one took up for this innocent child. I don’t care what the circumstances, I would stand up for any child that I thought was being harmed in any way. What kind of people just sit back and let adults harm a child, to me is just as quilty, and should have to bear that burden for the rest of their lives. In the end when they have to meet the maker, he will not accept pety excuses.

This is just horrible. This is one of several children missing from a family with an abusive step mom.
Has the Police called Tim Miller with Texas Equusearch? He helped in the Natalie Holloway case and Caylee Anthony and several other cases. He is a good man who his daughter was abducted years ago. I hate hearing about the wood chipper.
A man years ago put his wife through one.
