Talk about your Metaphors and a microcosm of the Obama Presidency … everything is falling apart.
As President Obama spoke to Fortune magazine’s “Most Powerful Women Summit” at Carnegie Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC, the Presidential Seal fell off the lectern. You mean with all the money they wastefully spend in Washington they could not but some duct tape or crazy glue. Job approval numbers falling, economy floundering and unemployment near 10% and the 2010 midterm elections less than 30 days out … why wouldn’t the Presidential Seal want to distance itself from Barack Obama.
SNL could not have come up with a funnier satire than this to symbolize the Obama Administration … the wheels have come off the train and so has the Presidential Seal from the looks of things. Will the Late Night Talk Shows grab onto this our … Will their “Lips be Sealed”?
The presidential seal has fallen off President Barack Obama’s podium and clattered to the stage as Obama delivered a speech to a women’s conference.
The president was joking with the audience and getting some laughs when he realized what happened. “All of you know who I am,” he quipped.
It’s times like this Obama can thank his lucky stars he is a Democrat

This chart shows what’s going to happen to our national credit-card monthly bill—our interest payments on the debt—if we follow the economic proposals of President Obama and his liberal allies like Barney Frank, Jim McGovern, Niki Tsongas, etc.
The bottom of the chart is the calendar. The right side isn’t a number—it’s a percentage. That’s the scary part. It’s not a percent of our federal budget. It’s a percent of EVERYTHING AMERICANS MAKE. The GDP, or Gross Domestic Product.
To put that in perspective, what percent of your entire monthly pre-tax income goes to paying your credit card bills? If it’s 20 percent, that’s very, very high. According to numbers from the CBO, by 2060 Americans would be paying 100 percent of our GDP in debt service.
In other words, about the time my son will be ready to retire, every dollar earned by every American will be needed just to pay the interest on our debt. That’s how much debt Team Obama is dumping on our kids.
And once again—this is assume we put into place Obama’s “tough” fiscal measures to allegedly “control spending.” So it could actually be worse.
This is immoral, unforgiveable and disgusting. It’s also stated Democratic policy.
