UPDATE I: Conflicting reports. Some say they were arrested and others say no. My best guess is they were “detained” and then released.
UPDATE II: Dutch crime reporter Peter de Vries stated they were not detained .
But de Vries did not explicitly say whether the pair met with the suspect, Joran Van der Sloot. The post also did not say when the two made the trip.
He denied media reports that prison authorities detained them and confiscated the documentary crew’s gear.
Peru’s “24 Horas” television program reported that Holloway spoke to van der Sloot for about five minutes before van der Sloot canceled the meeting because his lawyer was not present. The program reported that they spoke very little and treated each other well.
But Vries said the crew did not break any rules and prison officials knew of their visit.
However according to reports, Beth Holloway did manage to see Joran Van der Sloot before being escorted from the prison. She stated that she had “no hate in her soul” for him. Too bad that the Beth haters cannot say that about themselves and a mother who is only looking for answers as to what happened to her daughter in Aruba in 2005 and what Joran Van der Sloot did with her.
Apparently, Holloway snuck into the prison without being identified and carrying a hidden camera, aided by a Dutch TV reporter who’s doing a special on Natalee, and spent about five minutes with van der Sloot.
She’s said to have started the meeting by telling him she had “no hate in her soul” for him.

This woman is a hero. She will never give up on finding justice for her daughter.
She has nothing to lose by going to (try to ) talk to him. She has already lost what is precious. And you can bet your bottom dollar she didn’t go alone or without legal counsel. She is waaaay too smart to do that…

I have read the posts here and on some other sites and I think there is one angle eveyone might be missing. Remember when Joran threw wine in the face of Peter de Vries? Remember how smug Joran was and how he kept beating the rap in Natalee’s case? Remember how he swindled Beth out of money for the supposed location of Natalee’s body, and admitted he thought Beth deserved it for “hassling” him?
I think this visit was nothing more than a psyclogical ploy; even though it was not reported as there having been any conversation as to his current situation, it would have been tantamount to the implied “Hey, Joran, you’re in prison, aren’t you?” “How do you like it in there, hmmmm?”

(CNN) — The mother of missing American teen Natalee Holloway was in Peru Friday with a Dutch documentary maker — and made a trip to the jail where the man suspected in Holloway’s disappearance sits.
Producers for the the Dutch journalist who is accompanying Beth Holloway posted a note on his official website that said the journalist, Peter de Vries, and the mother made a trip to Castro Castro prison.
But de Vries did not explicitly say whether the pair met with the suspect, Joran Van der Sloot. The post also did not say when the two made the trip.
He denied media reports that jail authorities detained them and confiscated the documentary crew’s gear.
Peru’s 24 Horas television station reported that Holloway spoke to van der Sloot for about five minutes before she and the crew were removed from the jail.
But Vries said the crew did not break any rules and jail officials knew of their visit.
Early Friday morning, the receptionist at the Sheraton hotel in Lima, Peru, told CNN that Holloway was in her room, where she checked in by herself.
A woman in the room answered the phone in English, then immediately hung up.
Van der Sloot is jailed awaiting trial on a murder charge in the death of Peruvian student Stephany Flores.
Her body was found in May in a hotel room registered to van der Sloot, which the two were seen entering on surveillance camera video.
He also is charged with a count of wire fraud and a count of extortion in Alabama for allegedly trying to extort more than $250,000 from Holloway’s family in return for disclosing the location of her body.
Natalee Holloway was last seen in the early hours of May 30, 2005, leaving an Oranjestad, Aruba, nightclub with van der Sloot and two other men, brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. She was visiting the island with about 100 classmates to celebrate their graduation from Mountain Brook High School in suburban Birmingham, Alabama.
Van der Sloot was arrested twice in Aruba in connection with the younger Holloway’s disappearance, but was never charged.
He has denied responsibility for her disappearance.
In a jailhouse interview with a Dutch television station this month, van der Sloot said he is remorseful for telling so many stories regarding the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, but once again denied culpability in the case.
By leaving him with the words…

God please! This is enough. I hope one night or morning as Joran wakes up in his cell, alone—he reflects upon what courage and an act of TRUE HUMAN KINDNESS AND CHRISTIANITY it took for Beth Holloway to approach him and make that statement.
Regardless of the fact that it was w/P. DeVries for an update of another segment of his show—it truly encomppasses what the human spirit can do to reach out to even this pathetic slime and murderer.
Maybe, just maybe (but we are not holding our breath) Joran will recognize the act that was just a true Mother in it’s moment and finally have some pity on Beth Holloway and the entire family.
Anita VDS, IMO, finally came clean when she did that interview on CBS a few months ago. Coming “clean” not to admit she believed the lies of her deceased Husband and Son when, I do BELIEVE – they intentionally LIED to her also about the exact account of that fateful night so as to not only protect Papa Sloot and Joran- but all the other CORRUPT POLITICAL CRONIES with their ties to drug trafficking and HUMAN SEX SLAVE TRADE on that floating piece of dung Island, too.

Not that I am in to cutting Anita too many breaks- but if you watched the entire interview~she appeared to be very candid and upfront about Joran’s past struggles and acknowledged, that while painful- she realizes she has lost him now too.
I will refrain from now on from dumping all over her ( I really used to post some awful things on here about her) if not for only one fact.
She is a Mother, too. She certainly must carry some guilt and a world of her own private hell and pain since, she states, for years she was well aware of Joran’s bad gambling habit & when he left the Island to go to Peru and enter play in a Poker Tournament—they actually had just had yet another disagreement over money and his problems. They did not part on good terms.
Again, as a Mother- I try to put myself in her shoes and it’s gotta hurt like hell when she got that last phone call from Joran when he was on the run and he told her, or inferred to being in a boatload of trouble. If Anita is to be believed-she claims she told him to stop running and that if he was responsible for Stephany’s murder-he must turn himself in. I did see quite an amount of pain, sadness & grief in her eyes that cannot be faked.
Even though she was a horrible “enabler” all those years and did her Son no favors by rewarding his bad behavior sometimes—she finally has washed her hands of them. Anita knows that her Son is a walking dead man. Now she can wallow in despair and grief that the lovely Beth Holloway still carries around with her to this day.
So, sad. We will never forget you Nat!

Beth Holloway is working on a project with a Dutch television crew, but was not arrested in Peru, contrary to widespread reports, her spokeswoman said today.
“She was not arrested or detained and nothing was taken from her,” said Sunny Tillman. “Beth is working with Peter de Vries on a special report. Peter can provide further comment on the content of that report.”
Tillman declined to say further what happened in Peru, but did say Holloway remains out of the United States. The TV report will appear in a few weeks.
De Vries is a high-profile criminal reporter in the Netherlands who made headlines two years ago with his report on the disappearance of Holloway’s daughter, Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba. His report was based on hidden-camera interviews with Joran van der Sloot, who was last seen with the teen before her disappearance on May 30, 2005.
Holloway’s lawyer told NBC’s “Today” that she entered Castro Castro prison where van der Sloot is being held in the murder of a Peruvian woman “without violating any laws or breaking any regulations” and spoke with the inmate.
Attorney John Q. Kelly said Holloway didn’t expect to get answers about Natalee’s disappearance but wanted van der Sloot to know “she hasn’t gone away.”
In Peru, a spokesman for the national penal authority said Holloway’s name did not appear in the visitor registry of the prison.
“That woman did not enter the prison,” the spokesman, Bruno Guzman, told the Associated Press. He did acknowledge that a group of Dutch journalists visited the prison and interviewed Van der Sloot in early September.
I honestly don’t know if Joran even knows where Natalee’s remains are. I think he was simply small change in the whole grand scheme of this case. As someone on SMs has said “Joran was the shill.” At this point in time, I believe he was just responsible for drugging her, getting her in the car, and delivering her to someone higher up. It could have been his father I guess. Seriously, would you tell this moron anything? I don’t know but I am beginning to think that if he truly did know where Natalee’s remains are I don’t think he would be able to keep his mouth shut. I just looked at the pictures of Natalee and Stefany as little girls playing with their dads on the SMs Forum. It is just so incredible that a monster comes along and snatches something so precious from a loving, protective, father’s arms. But what is truly incredible is that this evil monster is then capable of torturing these parents. Just taking Natalee from them was not enough for him, he and his parents, then gain pleasure from torturing the Holloways. Can anyone explain to me how a woman can sit by and allow her son to do these things without trying to redeem her soul and his by giving Natalee’s parents the closure they so desperately seek. He is a sociopath, he at least has an excuse. What is his mother’s excuse? How can anyone feel anything that even closely resembles empathy for her? She is the cause of all of this pain for these two families. Anita is not a mother like Beth or you or me. Anita gave birth to this monster and enabled him to do every evil thing he has ever done. CVC, If Anita knows what happened and it involves people in power that are still alive in Aruba and even more so the Netherlands (Jan Van der Staten, possibly casino owners and the Prosecutor in Holland) she could be putting her life in jeopardy by telling.

Hi Lisa–You are the second or third person to say that the two van der sloot brothers are living in the U.S. Just a week or so ago the youngest brother was in pictures on the SMs Forum with Anita at a party given for the Mansur’s granddaughter on Aruba. I know the middle son is in Boston in school, but I believe the youngest is still in Aruba with Anita. Why is Anita still in Aruba if she is in fear of her life. If it was any other mother I would also ask “Why does she keep her son in Aruba if his life is in danger?” But that would be a silly question since this IS Anita van der Sloot that we are talking about. Also, look back at the pictures from the Mansur party, Anita is being embraced by the social elite of Aruba. If she is fearing for her life, she could also just shut her mouth and yet she is not interested in doing that and neither is Joran. Also, if she is fearing for her life, she could come to the U.S., ask for help from the F.B.I. and “roll over” on these people that she fears in return for consideration for Joran. Maybe Anita is getting something like a “widow’s pension” from Paulus’ sex trafficking job. Maybe she took over for him. She certainly didn’t look like she was fearing for her life in those party photos. It looks to me in those photos like Anita is running the show in Aruba. I also can’t wait to hear what Jossy Mansur writes about Beth’s visit to Aruba since he likes to socialize with Anita and all. Just my opinion.
I forgot to mention that the youngest son was obviously invited to the “coming out” party for the Mansur granddaughter who looks to be approximately the same age as he is. There are also pics on SM Forum from another party for another girl who is around 15 on Aruba and Sebastian is at that party too. Only at this second party he is dressed up and posing for pictures the same way we have seen Joran pose.
Pictures can really take your words and show your words to be lies. Compare the pics of Anita at the party to the pics of Beth on her recent trip to Peru and Aruba. Anita doesn’t look worried, distressed, like she has “lost a son”, or in fear of her life. If I lived in Aruba and had a 15 year old daughter who was partying with the van der Sloots, I’d have her on the next plane out of there forever. Partying with the van der Sloots doesn’t usually end happily for beautiful, young girls. Just my opinion.

CVC, Maybe you are right, I was under the impression that one son (Val) was in Boston and the other (Sebastian) in Colorado. I thought the son was just visiting for the party.
As far as the stressed looks in pictures I have seen Anita in photos looking stressed but you have to remember she is deceptive, a liar and has a lot of experience with putting on a front to the outside world since she has been doing it most of her life. Then you must account for good days and bad days – Even Beth has looked better while enduring this nightmare of hell on some days vs. others.
To me, it stands to reason that Anita knows exactly what happened but will never implicate her husband, son and the others. I think it is the others that keep her in check and she has nothing to fear as long as she keeps her mouth shut about who is involved (the same for the two sons). So as far as living in fear I meant that as long as they don’t come forward with what they know they have nothing to fear.
I know I sound contradictory about the “living in fear but having nothing to fear.” My point is it is conditional. It is after all the fear of the truth that keeps the truth from us. If this situation was just as simple as returning Natalee’s body it would be over. It’s the truth of what happened and who was involved that keeps it going.
I think that is why she and Paulus initially moved back to the Netherlands and disappeared into a little hole for a couple of yrs. It was imperative to separate them from the others involved.
I wish I was as observant as Frederic. He noticed that the laptop computer that Joran was working on by the pool in Aruba is different from the laptop they took from Joran in Peru. I’m so glad the F.B.I. is on Scared Monkeys. Talk about the ultimate “troll spray”. If and when one of those trolls lets something they know for a fact slip when they are on here ranting in Joran and Anita’s defense it might solve this case. How exciting would that be? I’ve read on the SMs Forum that Joran’s middle brother is about to explode over all this. I’m sure he, and the whole family, face consequences of Joran’s actions every single day. He is a young person who does not deserve what I bet he is going through. If I was having to live with all this I think I would volunteer anything I know. Hi again Lisa–I think the youngest brother was sent to Colorado when Natalee first went missing. Someone posted online that he, Sebastian, had told a classmate in first days after Natalee disappeared that he had seen a dead woman in their (the van der Sloot’s) bathtub. I don’t know if that is true I just read it online. I believe he is back in school in Aruba and partying with all the debutantes at their “coming out” parties. On the SM Forum they were talking about another of these parties (since the Mansur party) where all the young teens were drunk and many spent the night. According to the Forum there was at least one parent who told their child “No” (like we did with our children) and made their child go home with them. I’m will to bet that it wasn’t Anita. Maybe she offered “the apartment” for the young teens to all spend the night in. I have seen pictures of girl/boy slumber parties that were allowed in “the apartment.” It is just my opinion but I just don’t think 14-15-16-17 year old boys and girls should be spending the night together in an unsupervised “apartment.” I’m pretty sure there is a more descriptive word for a place like that.
CVC, I know this is going to sound strict but my children were not allowed to sleep over at other people’s houses. They could stay until 12 pm and I would pick them up at 12 pm. We did allow sleepovers at our house and camping trips that I attended. Other moms complained about double standards but I stood firm. They just couldn’t understand why until during one of the sleepovers four 15 – 16 yr old girls snuck out and made it into a local bar. When they came out stumbling drunk one was hit by a car. Luckily she was only injured but, I thank God I had the brains to say “No” and not to cow down to the other mothers! My daughter use to cry and carry on about this until that night and she was in shock and said, “Mom, how do you know these things”? My only answer was, “you gotta keep your eye on the ball.”
It was not due to lack of trust with my own child it was due to lack of trust of peer pressure and other parents who were maybe not as diligent as I was. Many years ago they had TV broadcasts it’s 10 O’clock do you know where your child is? I can remember thinking if it’s 10 O’clock and you don’t know exactly where you child is you have a serious problem! Sleepovers are not a necessary part of socialization.
Sleepovers with the opposite sex at that age – Man, they’re begging for it and then they will wonder why!
Post #99 should speak volumes to those who are innocent in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway but who know what happened to her. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Beth and Dave (I understand Dave has been admitted to the hospital because he collapsed) could get closure, the innocent people involved could begin again to lead a peaceful existence and know that they did the right thing. An clear conscience is absolutely necessary for happiness. A guilty conscience is contagious and it effects the people closest to you in much the same ways that it effects you. The Natalee Holloway movie was on again the other night and I just caught the end where Peter de Vries shows Beth the undercover video in the Range Rover. I am with Dave, I think that is the true story because a) Joran was not being paid, and b) if Joran was wanting to impress the guy in the Range Rover with how big and bad he is, Joran would have made up a story about how he sold her into a sex slavery ring, etc. It is my opinon that he drugged her, the rape or rapes occurred in the “apartment,” she died from the drugs, he went into the house to elicit the help of his father. I believe his father disposed of the body. I don’t believe Joran was made privy to exactly where the body was placed because his father knew Joran would talk. Joran did talk in the Range Rover I and believe he admitted everything he actually knew in the Range Rover. Now the cover-up I believe does involve many people in high places. Joran himself admitted that his father paid off a policeman. What a monster, and every single evil thing he has done stems from his upbringing and the corruption on the island of Aruba.
I looked at my son today and I swear he walks like his father, he has the same calm, quiet, personality, the same facial expressions, the same points of view, the same posture. It is truly incredible. We have always been extremely selective about where our children lived when they were growing up. Many times their father and I have done without trips and other material things in order to be able to afford to live in communities with little or no crime and mostly good, healthy influences. I break into a cold sweat when I wonder if he had been born to a father like Joran had or if we had raised him in a place like Aruba. In my opinion Joran had nothing but bad, and no good influences. It really shouldn’t surprise us at all that he has done these evil deeds. IMO

I’m really hoping that it becomes hip to be caring, consistent, strict, responsible parents pretty soon. It has never gone out of style completely because in my years of teaching I taught some incredible children who came from incredible parents. But I watched the tendency of parenting skills move from caring and consistent to wanting more than anything for their children to be “popular”. It actually started about the time my children were born and it continues today. Just look at Anita van der Sloot at that teenage girl’s party on the SM Forum. I believe Anita raised her children to be popular. There’s the reason for the “apartment”. I don’t know about you but my children’s friends did not like me and that was in my children’s “best interest” that they didn’t. Anita looks extremely popular with the younger crowd to me. Just my opinion and I’m basing my opinion on the actual words of the van der Sloots and the photos that are online of them. You weren’t strict Lisa, you were a great parent. I would have loved to have taught your children.
If my last name was “van der Sloot” I would change it to something completely different.
I was a good parent but as with most parents I look back and there are a few things I would have done differently but, I have no major regrets. I saw a lot of that – parents wanting their children to be popular. My big thing was I wanted my children to keep busy and participate and I volunteered a lot to make sure they were constantly involved until it became second nature to them. Costumes and cupcakes, church and school functions, sports, PTA and yes I was even a substitute for Teacher Appreciation Day every year. We didn’t have a lot of money for them to take special lessons like Karate or Ballet but I was able to keep them busy with everything else. My children sometimes hated it because everyone knew them, everyone knew me and everyone had my phone number. They couldn’t get away with squat without me knowing about it and I had no problem with grounding them when the stepped out of line. The biggest thing I think parents should learn is to take an active part in raising their children and to actually get involved in their lives. It makes monitoring them much easier.
Giving Joran free run of the casinos, and an apt at such a young age was a costly mistake. He was left to grow with no guidance or boundaries’. It’s such a heinous shame. Anita will live all her remaining days in regret and sorrow.

Beth Holloway Aruba Update
Birmingham, Al (WIAT) Natalee Holloway’s mother Beth has left Aruba in the company of Dutch reporter Peter de Vries. Their next stop isn’t clear, but the Dutch television crew they have been working with is still on the island.
Holloway is working with de Vries on a documentary about Natalee’s disappearance that will run on Dutch television. Natalee disappeared on a graduation trip to Aruba back in 2005. She was last seen in the company of Joran van der Sloot who is currently in prison in Peru awaiting trial for the murder of a 21 year old Peruvian student, Stephany Flores.
Beth Holloway and de Vries caused an international stir last week when they briefly met with van der Sloot in Lima’s Castro Castro prison. They were asked to leave when prison officials discovered who Beth Holloway was.
They left Peru and flew to Aruba where they reportedly shot footage documenting Natalee’s last known steps. According to Jossy Mansur, editor of the Aruban newspaper El Diario, they had the cooperation of prosecutors investigating Joran van der Sloot’s involvement in the disappearance. Van der Sloot was questioned several times by Aruban authorities over the years since but has never been charged. He is still considered the prime suspect in the case.
Peter de Vries has a long involvement in the Natalee case as well. He’s the reporter who has on several occasions aired video of van der Sloot telling a variety of stories about Natalee’s fate…all of which van der Sloot later denied or admitted he was making them up.
CBS42.com has e-mailed a list of questions to de Vries but we haven’t yet had a response.

As a Mother ~ and in thinking more about this ~ has Beth been able to be with Anita (and even her sons) to share with her/them Mother to Mother, Woman to Woman… Mother to Sons… that she (Beth) also has no hate for them either ~ and simply ask them all for their help to get Joran to talk about where he placed Natalee… is there something they (Anita and sons) could do?
(Could/has there been an opportunity for her and Peter de Vries to speak with Dr. Kieth Albow here in Boston seeking his expertise and getting advice from him?
Another idea is to have a forum where this could possibly take place even privately having Dr. Albow as a mediator? with Beth and Anita or even with Joran and Dr. Albow? or all of the above ~
There has to be an approach that hasn’t been thought of or implemented yet ~

Kitty, Anita doens’t hae even an ounce of the Class that Beth has and she would not cooperate knowing that it would not be good for her “delicious sporter”. Anita is part of the problem.

Will that happen? ~ as for Anita, Beth was fierce with Paulus. Fierce with Joran. And she shows such grace that there is an opportunity here. Yes, Anita may be part of the problem, however, she also could become part of the solution as well as Van der Stratens input… set up a meeting with the Moms ~ it would be very interesting to see what would come of it.
Anita has she washed her hands of Joran? If she has, then let her talk… it’s time.
Anita has been running the show, advising Joran when he was in jail in Aruba, calling witnesses to ask them what they told the police about Joran, and now she says in an interview that she has washed her hands of Joran, yet she is still pulling the strings from behind the scenery. Too cowardly to go to Peru because she knows that the people of Peru will lynch her in the streets. She chooses to stay in Aruba where she is invited to all the parties and social gatherings. It is just my opinion but I think the people of Peru have the right idea. Anita van der Sloot has been absolutely brutal toward Beth in interviews and in online postings. No one deserves what Beth has been put through by the van der Sloots. How can you even suggest that Beth, a mother who has been tortured by this family for more than 5 years, sit down with this monster of a woman? If you know anything at all about this case you know that Beth did go to the van der Sloot home and Paulus sweated and shook like the low-life, terrified, slime that he was. Anita, on the other hand, sat cool, rigid, and totally unsympathetic to this desperate mother’s pleading. In my opinion, Anita is the real monster in all this. Much more evil than even her husband and son. Otherwise in 2005 she would have said, “I don’t know what happened to Natalee, but I want to know the truth. I want my son to tell the truth. I want my husband to tell the truth.” She didn’t do that then and she is still not doing that now. She tortures the Holloways instead. Just my opinion but it is based on the van der Sloots own words.
Cvc… I have followed this since the inception ~ I absolutely agree with your expressions and realize that not only monsters exist ~ even monsters can be faced… Beth ~ she’s a remarkable, fierce, fearless woman… yes, I recall seeing Paulus on that interview and his sweating profusely showed me clearly that he was guilty as sin and hiding his involvement and what he knew… his sweating revealed his overwhelming discomfort and spoke volumes what he chose not to speak verbally, his body told the world otherwise… he’s gone now… and took what he knew to his grave…
With Beth’s recent visit to Peru, I applaud her not only as a Mother, but as a strong fierce voice for her beloved Natalee and herself… and recognize she, through her immense Faith is empowered and given strength to face the “monsters”…(trust me, it’s the only way one can as humanly, one can’t)… Beth may choose to do so, and never to choose do again and I would not think any less of her if she chose not to ~ she would have nothing to loose by facing Anita again ~ and is in complete control and would be in complete control…
It isn’t a suggestion to place her in a more hurtful situation…or in harms way ~ or to torture her… it’s not that at all… it’s another step ~ when she went to Peru and she said to Joran, she has no hate in her heart for him… surely, that had him become COMPLETELY unglued… as it would, when you’re the monster… and hearing that you didn’t cause HATE… she has no hate?… wow… think about that…it was brilliant of Beth to do this and it was heartfelt. I support her whole heartedly, through prayers and cheered out loud that she did such an amazing thing. You go Beth! (I understood)…
As suggested ~ you pose a very thoughtful question of how could one suggest such a meeting? (there are unfortunately evil monsters harming children every second… Facing a monster that harmed your child, well, it’s rather difficult to imagine doing such a thing… I’ve had to do it… different circumstances, but I’ve done it ~ and the spirit of suggesting sitting down with Anita, is to unglue Anita, (for lack of a word), get right in her face and look her square in the eyes and approach her with every question she has and give it to her (Anita)… in Christs love.
Beth is (and has been) able to do this and it’s immensely freeing and empowering. Truth has to rise to the surface. Anita KNOWS. Of COURSE SHE KNOWS. Break her with truth… let it seep in ~ love ooozes out of Beth… and through Gods strength and wisdom exactly as she approached Joran… Beth is heaping coals upon his head and now go do it to her head and Joran’s family too… it’s driving them nuts. (and that’s not why you do it)… it’s what one is called to do.
I have the want to want to believe that if Anita has/had washed her hands of her son… let her prove it… I’d go to her. Even if she’s lying and hasn’t washed her hands, is still manipulating, conniving, lying ~ it will rattle her more. I’d welcome it. I’d even go with Beth.
Beth is deserving of finding out about her daughter ~ we all pray and have prayed for her to find the answers of where she is. No one, NO one, should have to ever endure what she has ~ what the Florez family has… no one. Ever.
Call Anita on her own words… “I don’t know what happened to Natalee, but I want to know the truth. I want my son to tell the truth…. ” Okay Anita,let’s go there… talk… even take a lie detector test ~ you mentioned you want to help find truth… start telling the truth, let’s find out.
unfortunately, it’s not that simple or easy.
Maybe in my desiring at least a glimmer of “what if”… I posed the question. Get Dr. Keith Albow, Beth and Anita in the same room ~ it would be quite interesting to see the results. It also could be enlightening or very frustrating… and yes, of course it hurts ~ that’s a hurt that is never going to go away… ever and I’m not suggesting to have Beth hurt any more than she has.
Beth we completely are behind you, supporting you, loving you and your family through this and stand beside you.
I hope my suggestion didn’t offend you, cvc… it wasn’t my intention ~ just thinking out of the box to let the monsters of this world know who’s truly in control ~ They WILL have to face God Almighty in the end… and His word does not go void and is truth…the light shall overcome the darkness.
I pray for God to continue to empower Beth, through His Holy Spirit and give her the words to speak and that he uses her, or who He chooses to break them… that the Holy Spirit will break the strongholds in the Van der Sloot family and get them talking~ and who ever else is connected in this case talking… in Jesus name, Amen.

If you think Anita van der Sloot, at this point in time, is going to tell the truth to anyone about anything you are very sadly mistaken. I think Beth is smart enough to know that too. She didn’t go to Peru for Joran to tell her anything, I believe she knows something from the Kalpoe’s depositions or from someone else and she went there to tell him what she knows. If you are looking at this objectively you will realize that the truth is never going to come from anyone with the last name van der Sloot. If you believe that Anita van der Sloot is going to respond to a religious approach from Beth or even a plea to her as a mother I am of the opinion that it will never happen. Anita is neither religious or motherly. I really don’t believe that dramatic courtroom confessions occur very often in the real world. Evil people don’t usually see the light and confess because they feel badly for the victim. I believe that humans were given free will to choose between good and evil. Unfortunately, what we choose is many times passed on to our children. Beth herself said that when she placed the “Bracelet for Natalee” around the wrist of Paulus van der Sloot, when she was at their home in 2005, she knew then that she was confronting pure evil. It’s just my opinion, and I apologize to anyone on this blog with different religious beliefs than I have, but God will ultimately pass judgement on these people. But, for anything to happen to them here on this earth I’m afraid God is going to have to come down from heaven and serve justice on them here. This evil that took Natalee and Stefany runs very deep in my opinion. I think it goes way beyond a polite talk between two people. I know I wouldn’t be here spending my valuable time on this blog if I believed it could be solved that easily. I’m sure that others wouldn’t be here either if they believed that is all it would take to obtain justice for Natalee. Also, I don’t get offended easily.
I couldn’t agree with you more ~ cvc… and it is sad that these families have suffered so greatly due to the hands of such deep evil… and yes, Beth did and has confronted pure evil ~ when she went to Joran and shared that she had no hate in her heart for him (apparently from what another poster shared he went completely berserk)… It was brilliant of Beth to confront him and it’s driving him nuts.
It may not solve anything ~ confronting Anita again however, I was going on the premis that she washed her hands of her son and as mentioned, it’s probably not true… she’d probably avoid Beth even if a meeting was suggested as Anita is a coward like the K2′s…and probably could not face Beth ~ I feel ANITA KNOWS… she KNOWS.
Words have power ~ and eventually, it will eat her alive ~ it may take time, a lifetime even~ but what goes around comes around and she does have to answer in the end ~ as does Joran and Paulus.
I too feel that God himself would have to come down from heaven to serve justice on them here… and yes, it would take a miracle for it to happen…I’d still like to believe too that we’ll witness it hear on earth and pray for resolve for Beth and her family… I know, that Beth has and will continue to give it everything she’s got and she’s one amazing, incredibly fierce woman and Mom ~ God Bless that woman.

You’d think that the Arubans would run her out of Dodge (so to speak) for what her son has done ~ and also being responsible for Aruba’s failing tourist economy ~ and I’ve always wondered why the Arubans didn’t demand justice. You may be on to something here about her… perhaps she did continue Paulus’ business ~ I do hope the FBI is watching her VERY closely… and following her daily routines, her bank account, her every MOVE… put the pressure on her ~

@louise28 – you’d move on from your daughter / sister / mother being murdered; and not do anything to have the murderer brought to justice? It’s that type of attitude which aids these type of crimes; the idea that its ok for the murderer to get away with it. I hope and pray Ms. Twitty obtains justice for her daughter.
i had a dream where beth holloway’s daughter is at. she’s in aruba. yesthe 3 boys were at the beach, about 150 to 300 ft. from the lighthouse! they were looking at something behind a rock! i need to talk to beth holloway. can someone get me in touch with her so i can tell her where her daughter’s body has been layed to rest. we need to allow misses holloway to bury her daughter in respect. no one would suspect this place. but i saw it in a dream. it for real.
juran’s father was involved in the dissapearance of mis holloway’s daughter. he’s the one who carried the body away! juran has no idea where the body is! i do. if i hadn’t seen him dispose of the body, noone would have discovered it in 100 years or never! this dream is real and very important. please give me a chance, the mother diserves this.
