New Democrat Message for Midterm Elections, Forget to Discuss Two of the Key Points of Obamacare, “Don’t Say it Will Reduce Costs & Deficits”

How do Democrats want to win in November… they hope that you forget all the lies that they told you! In other words, don’t discuss and remind the voters that Obama, Pelosi and Reid passed Obamacare against the will of the people.

Democrats worried about this years 2010 midterm elections and their disconnect with people under 40, non-college-educated women and Hispanic voters, have a plan … LIE TO THEM!Get this, Democrats have decided on how to defend Obamacare, a law that by a  60% to 36% of Americans want to repeal.  How do they intend to do this? According to the Politico, Democrats are not going to discuss that Obamacare will reduce costs and the federal deficit.

There is just one really big issue with this, actually two. President Barack Hussein Obama stated that there were three principles of Obamacare … reduce health care costs, individuals keep their own doctors and all Americans must have quality and affordable health care. Um, the only problem is that it was all a lie and that Obamacare will increase health care costs.

Wizbanghas a great slid by slide analysis of the desperate acts of an even more desperate party. Did they really not think that all this was going to come back on them and that there would be hell to pay? As Kim states regarding this strategy … “Sure, this new strategy sounds like a real winner…for Republicans.”

Key White House allies are dramatically shifting their attempts to defend health care legislation, abandoning claims that it will reduce costs and deficit and instead stressing a promise to “improve it.”

The messaging shift was circulated this afternoon on a conference call and PowerPoint presentation organized by Families USA — one of the central groups in the push for the initial legislation. The call was led by a staffer for the Herndon Alliance, which includes leading labor groups and other health care allies. It was based on polling from three top Democratic pollsters: John Anzalone, Celinda Lake and Stan Greenberg.

The confidential presentation, available in full here and provided to POLITICO by a source on the call, suggests that Democrats are acknowledging the failure of their predictions that the health care legislation would grow more popular after its passage, as its benefits became clear and rhetoric cooled. Instead, the presentation is designed to win over a skeptical public, and to defend the legislation — and in particular the individual mandate — from a push for repeal.

As the Weekly Standard states, The truth is that Obamacare cannot be improved.  It can only be repealed. The American people know it and so do Democrats. That is why they want Americans to completely forget all that Dems have done against the will of the people. Or as Weasel Zippers more bluntly puts it, “Yeah, It Sucks, But We’re Going to “Improve it”…” Can we really afford to have Democrats fix the mess that they have created? In the long run, they do not think they have broken any thing, they just want to remain in power and will say, or not say anything to do so.

No wonder the Democrats are being advised not to talk about their great “accomplishment,” Obamacare. Fox is reporting that the average person’s cost for health care is anticipated to rise 8.9% in 2011. There’s nothing like paying more to get a lot less (rationing.) I can’t understand why the Democrats aren’t bragging that they passed this despite the sentiments of the large majority of Americans who were very satisifed with their health care EXCEPT for the high cost. /s (I have to add the sarcasm sign because there are dolts who reply here who are unable to recognize sarcasm and take every word posted literally.)

I’m curious. I have great insurance through my employer. If I’m hurt here or abroad, I’m covered.

So, if I’m hurt say in Canada, England, whatever…does Obamanation “care” cover me? Bet not!!!

thats why you take a travelinsurance.

#2 – I think it will cover you – but you may DIE of whatever it is that you were injured from while they “fit” you in.

ObamaCare was a crock from the start and the American people (the same people Obama contends aren’t smart enough to make their own investment decisions)knew it. Americans BEGGED not to have ObamaCare passed and the very government elected to represent the will of the people forced it through KNOWING they had to screw the numbers to even say it would lower costs.

Now the Obama Government (who has never cared about either the Constitution or truth) tells others how to try to lie more to the people to pretend its a good thing. But this is nothing new. This is exactly how they ran the election – say whatever necessary to get people to vote for you.

Idealists wanted to believe Obama and so even with the facts SCREAMING that he was lying, they voted and elected this man who set about to ruin America so Michelle could be proud.

Probably not, Brenda, because you’re not likely to have that great insurance for long, or you’ll be paying very high taxes for that “Cadillac Coverage” unless you belong to a union. BUT, if you’re a Canadian, Brit, whatever, and you can get your butt here, the U.S. taxpayer will pick up the cost of your care. We’ve already lifted the ban on Aids patients coming here so we can start giving them freebie care.

Since we’re paying for illegals to have health coverage, (don’t forget the costs of delivery, even “C” sections, for all those “anchor babies,”) we’re probably going to pay for those who come here legally on a visa too. Why not? We’re rich. We can afford to pay for health care for the world, can’t we? /s

OBAMA CARE IS NOTHING BUT A MONEY GRAB FOR
      THOSE DEMOCRAT THUGS.

The people are waking up to the fact that this is NOT a real health care plan, but a plan to control a major portion of the economy.

The Democrats are all about changing our country into a third world nation where they are in charge.

In the muslim relegion it is permissible to lie in order to abtain whatever is the current goal.
The lies about the health care plan fall neatly within such a goal.

Keep on exposing this type of behavior to the American people.

Who wants Obama and the Democrats to mess with current health insurance. The only thing we ask is to lower the premiums, not to be controlled by the gov’t. The money to cover all of America is going to come from the taxpayer. Obama doesn’t have a head for financial issues. In fact Obama doesn’t have the intelligence, nor the experience, nor the will to want what’s best for the American people. A White House outcast.

    9. brie. on August 21st, 2010 6:33 am

The gov’t will decide what kind of health care treatment you can have.It is not up to your doctor to make the decision anymore.

Obama talks about his mother having cancer and worried about her health care and if she was covered. Well if she had her own insurance then she knew what kind of coverage she had….and beyond that she shouldn’t of had to worry at all….Obama had the money to take care of her….why let her worry. He’s such a lying a~~.

Our personal lives are none of his business. He wants communist control over everything. We need to take our country back and get rid of the imposter.

Why would anyone think at this point that Democrats would want to remind the voters what they have done since Obama took office?

Obama talks about Republicans driving the car into the ditch; however, were not Democrats in control of the House and Senate for the 2 years prior to Obama? So were they not at the wheel?

Meanwhile, Obama has driven the car over the cliff.

My health care has already risen. When I have medical tests, and the co-pay is paid, eventually I get a letter/statement from the medical facility with an amount not figured in the original billing. It’s amazing. One is for like $8.03, another is $2.10.

Appears they’re trying to suck in every single penny before the disaster kicks in 2011.

I’ve already heard in my job office where Blue Cross is going upwards by 9%.

What is more baffling to me is that the Congress and the WH has intentionally delved out unique information. They have told us “only” what they want us to hear, and NOT the truth.

I submit that this savage brutal raping of innocent Americans will eventually be repealed. Watch when the elderly suffer.

What kind of “human being” even does this to his/her fellowman?

Why does no one discuss WHY health care is expensive here in the 1st place?
It is bcs the GOVT has its fingers in the pie, distorting the actual price of services through Medicare setting the price.
      Medicare SETS THE PRICE!
      THIS is the PROBLEM!
My family health ins premium would not be over $1000/month if Medicare wasn’t around anymore.
And Srs could actually AFFORD health care.
And we would see an explosion of medical tourists bcs of it.
Get rid of Medicare & watch prices drop & competition soar.
But of course, baby boomers will have none of it.
I am certainly more than happy to help support my mother & grandmother who are both on Medicare if it means we get rid of it.
