I can’t remember which newspaper I’ve found it, but it was reported that their house was infested with mold everywhere. Tehy didn’t know, it wasn’t visible. Mold doe kill people, and it appears that they both contracted deadly pneumonia. Brittany always has upper respiratory problems before she passed away.
