I guess this is just another situation of an illegal immigrant in America going the jobs that Americans just are not willing to do. Like driving drunk and killing nun, Sister Denise Mosier. UNREAL! Carlos Montano is a repeat drunk driving offender and has been arrested in the past, had been reported to federal authorities, was an illegal immigrant and was awaiting deportation. Is it any wonder why Americans overwhelmingly support the Arizona immigration law and were disgusted when the Obama Administration sued a state for trying to secure its border and protect its citizens. A job that is the responsibility of thee federal governemnt; however, refuse to do.

The Virginia man suspected in a drunken-driving crash that killed a Catholic nun in Prince William County this weekend is an illegal immigrant and repeat offender who was awaiting deportation and who federal immigration authorities had released pending further proceedings, police said Monday.
Carlos Montano, a county resident, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and drunken driving. Mr. Montano had been arrested two other times on drunken-driving charges, and on at least one of those occasions county police reported him to federal authorities.
“We have determined that he is in the country illegally. He has been arrested by Prince William County Police in the past,said police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Messages left with ICE and the Homeland Security Department were not returned, but the incident raises questions about the agency’s policy of detaining only some illegal immigrants awaiting deportation.
“I have been saying for months now that this administration’s new policy of concentrating almost solely on ‘criminal aliens,’ and not enforcing the laws by deporting known illegal aliens, would have devastating consequences. Now, we see the tragic results this ‘virtual amnesty’ policy of the Obama administration has caused,” said Rep. Harold Rogers of Kentucky, the ranking Republican on the House Appropriations homeland security subcommittee.

Looks like Virginia needs to get tough on illegals like Arizona. This guy should have been locked up by the local authorities and kept locked up until ICE decided to deport him.

I agree with you that everyone is equal. My family came here as legal migrants, and they worked hard and earned their citizenship. This man is a slave to alcohol not a slave to the United States of America.

Not everybody can connect Obama only in 2nd degree to the death of a nun! Over an illegal Mexican!
That needs some serious creativity.
They get paid loans that only illegals can afford. They have to work in environments that are almost stupidly cruel to them. (There have been reports that buying something as trivial as better balanced wheelbarrows would reduce their risk of back injury by 70%) Their bosses are Americans. They make the money, they fuck them over as hard as they like because there’s no protection. Illegals are completely at the whim of their “employers”.
It is no wonder that some of them flee to some better place via alcohol.
Since the argument “they take OUR jobs” is now accepted as embarrassingly wrong, you go at them with “they are criminals”, drunks and nun killers?
How many nuns have American citizens run over over the years?
Offer them some reasonable way to live and deal reasonably with their status. Offer their employers some way to buy their cheap labor (because really no one wants to do their jobs) and deal with _their_(the employer’s) status.
The alternative is:
Deport every one you can find at once, and throw their employers into jail (employing illegals should be really illegal, right?). Have a few drones patrol the border…..
Then watch what happens. It would be interesting to see how many legal American existences and ultimately people you could kill by just enforcing the law…

Amnesty is not an option. There is a reason why the US allows only a certain number of legal immigrants into the country every year. There is a thing called a sustainability factor.
Personally, I have no issue with a guest worker program, every country does it. However, in no way does that automatically lead to citizenship. These people are not to be rewarded for illegal behavior.
We need these people, really? How much cost do you think these folks cost tax payers with healthcare, schools and entitlement programs? Hell, it cost a Nun her life.
An extra 25 cents for a head of lettuce might night be worth the other costs derived from illegals.
