Wisconsin Senate Election 2010: Ron Johnson (R) 47%, Russ Feingold (D) 46%

Yikes, Wisconsin … once thought a safe US Senate hold for Democrats is now nothing of the sort. GOP challenger Ron Johnson leads incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold 47% to 46%. This would be a stunning blow to Democrats in November.

Democratic incumbent Russ Feingold and his chief Republican challenger Ron Johnson remain locked in a neck-and-neck battle for the U.S. Senate in Wisconsin.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Wisconsin finds Johnson with 47% support, while the Democrat earns 46% of the vote. Two percent (2%) like some other candidate in the race, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Common thinking among many was once Republican Tommy Thompson dropped out of the Wisconsin US Senate race that all was lost for the GOP. However, that appears to be far from the truth as Johnson is giving him a run for his money in the polls. The republican party will have their primary on September 14, Johnson is expected to win.

The US Senate race in WI is another example of the difficulty that incumbent Democrats are having in the run up to the November midterm elections. If Wisconsin votes for the Republican Johnson in November … look for the GOP to take back the US Senate.

I hope the GOP is successful in NOvember. However, in a close race, the Democrats will pull every dirty trick they can manage to keep the seat.

The GOP needs to watch the registration of new voters and how the election process is managed.

I just love that ad that Johnson runs about Feingold “voting No” to protecting our Great Lakes. If this charactor can endorse misleading ads like this, I am truly scared about whatever he might be lying about to the common denominator.
Feel free to respond to me on E mail because I would just love to talk to one of his flunkies..no holds barred.

      Yah Duh Tea Pardee.
