Trouble in Obamaland, Bill Clinton Goes Against Obama and Supports Romanoff in Colorado Senate Primary Over Senator Michael Bennet

Talk about your shot across the bow by the Clinton’s and there being trouble in Obamaland …

Former President Bill Clinton has broke with President Barack Obama and endorsed Andrew Romanoff’s challenge to Senator Michael Bennet in the Colorado Democrat primary.  Needless to say that Barack Obama is endorsing incumbent Senator Michael Bennet. What is not lost in this battle of the Democrat titans is the fact that Andrew Romanoff’ has made claims that Obama offered him a position ala Joe Sestak for dropping out of the primary.

Obama, Clinton … Bosom Buddies, NOT!

The TPM Poll Average of this race has Bennet leading Romanoff 46.3%-33.7%, but both Republican candidates lead both Democratic candidates in general election polls. Obama has campaigned and fundraised for Bennet.

A Clinton source says the email posted below is likely to be the only campaign effort on Romanoff’s behalf. Clinton will not appear at any Romanoff campaign rallies. Another source points out that Clinton and Romanoff have known each other many years.

This is the first race that’s divided the former president and current one since, of course, the 2008 Democratic presidential primary between Obama and Hillary Clinton. (Romanoff also was strong Clinton backer in 2008.) The former president endorsed and aided Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) and Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) in their primary races.

Presently the Rasmussen report has both Democrat Senate candidates trailing all Republican challengers. Interestingly enough Ken Buck, the Tea Parties choice is gaining traction.

Is this a sign of things to come? Bill Clinton is the master of political maneuvering and gamesmanship. Is the division with Obama in the Colorado race a test of wills to see who really is the top dog in the Democrat party? Barack Obama’s poll numbers have been in free fall and his lack of leadership with the BP oil crisis has only added to his troubles.

So does Bill Clinton love him some Romanoff?Or does the astute and shrewd Bill Clinton realize that the Obama train has come of the tracks and its time to bail and distance himself from the disaster of what is Barack Obama. Clinton has been looked upon by the Obama WH as the answer man and the elder statesman who has been an asset. However, the hand writing may be on the wall and Clinton can certainly see the polling that Obama, his policies and agenda are unraveling. What can we expect in the future? After the 2010 midterm carnage where Democrats lose the House of Representatives and either lose are only have a 1 or 2 US Senate majority … Hillary Clinton will jump ship and eventually run against Obama in the 2012 Democrat Presidential primary.

I figure the only reason Obama and Clinton were friends to begin with were…they both figured out how to get rid of Hillary for extended lengths of times.

Not to worry – anyone who Obama endorses – loses.

The big story is not this endorsement. The Congress and WH are controlled by democrats. Bill Clinton said the “US budget is broken”. That is what is bothering the American people, the economy. That has to have dems in DC fuming. The comments on the leak “just fix it now, blame later” remarks most likely not as much of a slam at Obama as Dick Morris said. The comments on the budget I believe indicate what we could have if we had a Clinton in the WH.

Hillary will run against Obama AGAIN in the primary and WIN. She’ll win not because of her, but because of her husband and America’s lover affair with Bill.

She will be the next President of the USA IMO and as much as I hate to say it and I’m a Reagan Conservative!

Hillary will not be president not many trust her because if her support of obama she agrees with obama policys.

SM: Many do not trust her; however, even less trust Obama at this point including the LEFT. If she is nothing, she is a shrewd politician and she will say to the Dems and the LEFT, do you want a do over with a Preident who has experience or do you want the Republicans to take back the WH.

The only reason why I would say she would not challenge is if the polls are so bad that there is an overwhelming majority who will not vote for a Dem for President unser any circumstances. Obama has done great damage to the Democrat branding. The Middle andf Independents have shifted sharply to Republicans.
