New York Democrat US Representative Charlie Rangel called folks who oppose Obamacare racists. Gee Charlie, that’s original. What a poor excuse for what passes as a politician these days that would try to stop free speech and dissent in the United States under the threat of branding people a racist.

Scandal-plagued Rep. Charles Rangel, long a target of the right, fired back Wednesday at conservative opponents of health care – likening them to racist foes of civil rights.
Noting that he had been “cursed at and spat at” in the South in the ’60s – as some Democratic congressmen say they were last week by anti-health care activists – Rangel said the similarities to Tea Party backers are striking.

“I was involved in the civil rights marches in the ’60s. And I have been badgered, cursed at and spat at by groups in the South and I want you to know and your viewing audience to know that the group that were in Washington fighting against the health bill and fighting against the President, looked just like and sounded just like those groups that attacked the civil rights movement in the South,” Rangel said.
Democrats and Obama’s minions have so often called people racists who are simply expressing their First Amendment rights that is it any wonder why any one would tolerate this nonsense any more? If you disagree with Obama, you are a racist. If you speak out against Obama, you are a racist. If you write or discuss an opinion against Obama and his policies, you are a racists. Hell, if you exhale CO2 and you are not for Cap & Tax, you are a racists. ENOUGH!
You Democrat fools have successfully marginalized “racism” in America. You have cried wolf so many times when no racism was present that you have numbed America to what might be real racism. All to defend Obama’s socialist policies. Maybe someone should introduce Representative Rangel (D-Harlem) to the US Department of Justice’s crime statistics, so that he can bone up on how more likely a white person is to be killed by a black person than a black person is to be killed by a white person.
Obama won the presidential election by 53% which means the majority like him enough to vote for him. Regardless if you voted for him or not, it was a proud day for America to shed the cloak of racism. We were ready for an African-American president. However, the African Americans weren’t. Charlie Rangal proves this with his idiotic statement, Rev. Al Sharpton proves this with his own racist rhetoric. It’s really too bad. Having said that, in my opinion, if Obama was white or green or purple, I would still feel he is incompetent – not a good man – and not doing the right thing for this country.

Where were you when Bush passed an “unfunded drug benefit which added $15.5 trillion (in present value terms) to our nation’s indebtedness? Where were you when Bush doubled the national debt? Where were you when Reagan tripled it? 77% of our current national debt was accumulated under three presidents: Reagan, Bush and Bush. Where were you mythical “conservatives” of the fiscal variety?
It is highly unlikely that race is playing no role at all.

One would think the author would not want their site polluted with such racism. Yet continually racist posts are written and let thru. Example…Poster #2 recently called African Americans “darkies”. Was there condemnation of the use of that term, since every post is moderated? Nope. The failure to address the repeated racists posts fails to inspire confidence that anything written in the above rings true.
