The remains of 14 year old Amber DuBois from San Diego, CA have been found. Sadly, the human skeletal remains of missing Amber DuBois were found Saturday in Pala, CA. Amber DuBois had been missing since February 13, 2009. She was last seen at approximately 7:10 am walking to Escondido High School, Escondido, CA.

The remains of Amber DuBois, a 14-year-old San Diego, California-area girl who was missing for more than a year, have been found, police said Sunday.
Human skeletal remains found early Saturday in Pala — a rural, rugged area in northern Dan Diego County, California — have been positively identified as those of DuBois, Police Chief Jim Maher of Escondido, California, said at a news conference.

The investigation into the disappearance and death of Amber DuBois is being handled by Escondido police, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, and the FBI.
Just last week authorities were investigating John Albert Gardner III, who pleaded not guilty Wednesday to raping and murdering Chelsea King. She was another San Diego area teen who went missing and was found dead. So what might the connection be with John Albert Gardner III, a registered sex offender, and any connection to the disappearance and death of Amber DuBois? It seems rather coincidental that after one year and no leads then without notice suddenly John Albert Gardner III is arrested and a link is developed, then a tip must have been provided to locate Amber DuBois.
UPDATE I: Here is some rather bizarre coincidences with addresses and telephone numbers, ‘Who is Kevin O’Reilly’? This story and the possible connection between Amber DuBois and Chelsea King might just be getting a lot more stranger, if possible.

I’m so saddened by this… such a beautiful girl ~ prayers are with her family…
Sex offenders… to get one registered is so difficult, as there are many offenders, who are NOT registered also living in our neighborhoods committing these heinous, monstrous acts upon the innocent. They never make it on the registered list… they continually do this Over and over and over again.
Sex offender monsters, it is proven, that they can NOT be rehabilitated, they have more rights than their victims…I’ve asked and said it before… when is our society going to say STOP these monsters???… at another death of an innocent beautiful childs expense? Like Amber?
Stop allowing these monsters back into our neighborhoods to prey upon another child/human being… this madness has to stop!
Sexual crimes in our country are treated way to lightly ~ time to have laws changed…I’ll say it again, the entire Judicial system of America has blood on their hands to continually allow this to go on… from the legislators, right on up to the Judges.
it appears that a person who commits light crimes get more prison time, than that of murdering of a child, or sexually murdering of that childs innocence (the broken judicial system that doesn’t give a hoot)…that child and family have a lifetime of healing to endure… that victim/survivor serves a life sentence…. Not the sex offenders…the captured ones, they are freed,let out,to do it again… and this is what they do ~ continually… every day, you read about these murderous/sexual acts of violence upon innocent children.
Every single day.
… a “catch and release program”… these monsters belong locked up for life, so the Ambers of our society are safe from these evil pricks.
There is a strange connection with these two cases. The private investigator working for Amber’s family stated that a tip from someone in the community provided the location of the body.
It would appear that the hugh turnout of citizens regarding the search for the King girl may have emboldened someone to come forward.
This is what the citizens should do in every case of a missing person withing their community. Join together, make up a search party, call the media, and make the law enforcement people take this very seriously.
The real problem is in our courts and probation systems in every state. Judges, District Attorneys and the state probation system generally do a very poor job in protecting the people. The only way to stop this is for citizens in every town, city and county to form court watch groups and let these people know that they are being watched by the people.
State legislatures need to be made to pass laws that severly limit plea bargaining regarding sexual asualt cases against children and women.
Sexual preadators have something wrong with their brains and cannot be cured.
These people need to be removed from the planet as soon as they commit their first crime.
Ambers grandmother paid for the best search dogs from the east coast. They tracked Amber to PALA, almost to the body! They asked the police to search the area in August. The police did not search the area. I saw the owner of the dogs tell the TV news team she was ignored by the Escondido POLICE. She said, “the police reported nothing was found at a news conference” but I told the police we had a hit in PAlA It needed to be searched.” Why did the Escondido Police ignore the results of the best tracking dogs in the country?
