US Lost 20,000 Jobs in Jan ’10 But the Unemployment Rate Dropped to 9.7% … Alan Greenspan confirmed on Meet the Press that Team Obama has been Cooking the Books.

Last Friday it was reported that the United States lost another 20,000 jobs in the month of January 2010; however, some how with no job creation the unemployment number in the United Sates went from 10% from the previous month down to 9.7%.  One might ask exactly how that is possible.

From Judith Apter Klinghoffer at History News Network via The Gateway Pundit comes a possible explanation, today on ‘Meet the Press,’ Alan Greenspan confirmed that Team Obama has been cooking the books.

We all blinked furiously when we read the government’s  claim that the number of unemployed rose in January by 20,000 but the unemployment rate fell from 10% to 9.7%. Somebody has obviously been cooking the numbers in a most ingenious manner. On Meet the press, Alan Greenspan  explains the absurdity thus:

MR. GREGORY: Dr. Greenspan, one more question about jobs. So you think that unemployment rate goes up again before it comes down?

MR. GREENSPAN: I’m not sure. One of the reasons is the official data on unemployment is a sample and it fluctuates, and–as we observed in, in the January report. If you literally took it seriously as to the exact numbers, there were 784,000 job increase in January. Now, that didn’t happen. And so that what we can expect is a backing and filling. I think we’re going to stay at approximately the 9 to 10 percent level here for a goodly part of the rest of this year with the sole exception of that period when they start to hire a very large number of census workers. Remember, this is the decennial census.

MR. GREGORY: Right.

MR. GREENSPAN: And that’s going to have some positive effect. But it’s very difficult to make the case that unemployment is coming down anytime soon.

Sarah Palin has President Obama in her sights, telling FoxNews.com she “would be willing” to challenge him in the 2012 presidential race.

The former Alaska governor, in an interview Saturday on the sidelines of the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville, said President Obama’s “lack of experience” has held him back his first year in office and that she would put her credentials up against his any day.

“I would be willing to if I believe that it’s right for the country,” Palin said when asked if she would run for president in 2012.

She qualified the statement, adding that she sees “many” other potential candidates who are “in as strong or stronger position than I am to take on the White House and if they’re in a better position than I in three years, I’ll support them.”

However, the former GOP vice presidential nominee told ‘Fox News Sunday’: “I won’t close the door that perhaps could be open for me in the future.”

Incumbent Arlen Specter Wins Democrat Support for PA Senate … Republican Toomay Ahead in Polls

Does the Democrat Party not understand that the 2010 elections are anti-incumbent?

Did the Democrat Party just hand the Pennsylvania Senate seat to the Republicans in 2010? Arlen Specter, the incumbent once Republican now Democrat PA Senator just received the endorsement from the Pennsylvania Democratic Committee. The PNC endorsed 5 term Senator Specter over US Rep. Joe Sestak for the Senate nomination. Does it make sense to endorse the establishment candidate in an environment that is anti-establishment?

The Pennsylvania Democratic Committee on Saturday endorsed Sen. Arlen Specter over Rep. Joe Sestak for the Senate nomination, despite Specter’s recent conversion to the Democrats after 30 years as an elected Republican.

Specter garnered 77 percent of the committee vote, surpassing the 66 percent needed to gain the party’s nod.

“I am very thankful and grateful for the strong endorsement I received today from the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee,” Specter said.

The fact of the matter is … Specter’s attempt for a 6th term may not be a charm.  Sestak represented the non-establishment candidate for the Democrats.

Washington DC region finds itself buried and paralyzed under 2 feet of snow as 100,000′s people find them self without power due to this historic snow storm.

Winter Weather

Barack Obama ponders global warming message to We the People as WH buried under snow

I wonder what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would have to say about this record snow fall in Washington DC and the surrounding Virginia area?  RFK Jr.  flies around on private jets  to tell people how they must live their lives to save the planet. As reported by the Washington Examiner, he also penned an article last year on the lack of winter weather in Washington, DC. Maybe he would like to comment on this weekends historic snow storm? I guess he will have to re-write his global warming stump speech. Make no mistake about it, RFK Jr tied climate change to snow fall.

So Robert F. Kennedy Jr., what say you regarding ‘Snowmaggedon’ and the record snow storm that buried the Mid-Atlantic states and the 33 inches of snow in DC, the worst since 1922?

Let me guess, it was caused by Global warming?
