Barack Obama Lowest Approval Ratings … Independents Fleeing in Mass
Barack Obama, the Disappointer in Chief … Obama loses support of Independents.
Over the weekend at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville, TN keynote speaker Sarah Palin asked the audience and America … “How’s that hope-y, change-y stuff working out for you?” According to the most recent polling, not well.
A new Marist College poll is out and it is more terrible news for President Barack Obama. 47% of American voters disapprove of the President’s handling of his job as compared to 44% approve.
The full polling cross tabs can be found HERE.
Obviously Republican and Democrat support of Barack Obama is polarised; however, it is the Independent vote, the individual that does not belong to either party that is the real story in this and all polls lately. They are running from Obama and his liberal policies as fast as they can. They are obviously disappointed in the change that Obama has brought to Washington, DC. Obama has only a 29% job approval among Independents.
Perhaps, particularly concerning for Mr. Obama is the drop in support among Independents. For the first time since taking office, a majority of Independents — 57% — disapproves of how he is doing in the role. 29% approve, and 14% are unsure.
Independent voters see Pres. Obama in a negative light by a nearly 2-1 margin.
Independent voters see Pres. Obama in a negative light by a nearly 2-1 margin, according to a new Marist College survey, while almost half of voters say he has failed to meet their expectations.

George W. Bush, Miss Me Yet Billboard … Hope & Change, eh?
It is not an Internet photoshop trick, it is the real deal. A billboard popped up along I-35 near Wyoming, MN, with a huge photo of former President George W. Bush and this question: “Miss Me Yet?” Now the hunt is on to find out who paid for the billboard ad.
Maybe it one of the millions of people who are disappointed with President Obama and not to impressed by his “hopey-changey” campaign promises. The speculation continues as to who has a wit and a sense of humor to do such an act. As Powerline adds, it is a questioned being pondered by more and more Americans every day.

Daily Commentary – Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 – Superbowl Commercials in Canada, Letterman-Leno-Oprah Ad
- Dana laments the loss of the commercial involving Letterman, Oprah and Leno (walk into a bar…), which apparently didn’t air in Canada.
For our readers in Canada, here is the ad that Dana is referring to. Don’t worry thought, you did not miss all that much. Although it is rather intriguing that late night talk show rivals would appear on the same ad together.

Pennsylvania Congressman John Murtha Dies at Age 77, Rest In Peace
Long time Democrat US Representative from Pennsylvania John Murtha has passed away at the age of 77.According to accounts Murtha died from complications from gallbladder surgery. Rest in Peace.
His aides released a statement saying that he died shortly after 1 p.m. today at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Mr. Murtha had been placed in intensive care last week after complications from gallbladder surgery, his staff said then.
Although we agreed with very little of Murtha’s policies, political agenda or comments he made toward Marines, this is not neither the time or place to discuss. We wish his family our condolences on their loss and wish John Murtha the peace of the Lord.
The Washington Post had a nice eulogy regarding the accomplishments in Murtha’s life not related to politics.

Barack Obama Picks Another Loser … Predicts Colts Will Win Super Bowl … Sides Against New Orleans
If you missed it over the weekend, Barack Obama once again picks a loser … this time Super Bowl style.
What else can I get wrong?
President Barack Obama once again finds himself on the wrong side of history.Talk about the un-Midas touch. Everything this guy touches lately goes to pot. In a pre-Super Bowl game interview with Katie Couric Barack Obama picked the Colts over the Saints. Obama actually did not side with New Orleans? Hmm … imagine if GWB opening went against the City of New Orleans what the MSM would have done.
One wonders whrther they want The One any where near them, he is worse than being on the cover of Sports Illustrated these days. Do Democrats really want Obama camapigning for him with his recent track record of losses? Do so at your own rick.
President Barack Obama says the Indianapolis Colts “have to be favored” in the Super Bowl, even though he has a “soft spot” for the New Orleans Saints.
Obama’s Super Bowl prediction was based on his opinion that the Colts have “perhaps the best quarterback in history.”
“Peyton Manning is unbelievable,” the president told CBS’ Katie Couric during a live pre-game interview.
As we all know, the Saints beat the Colts 31 – 17 last night in Super Bowl XLIV. This follows a long line of other great predisctions, campaigns and sides of issues that Barack Hussein Obama has been on the wrong side of …
Olympic Games to Chicago, Global Warming Conference in Copenhagen, Gov. race in NJ won by Republicans, Gov. race in VA won by Republicans, Massachusetts Senate Race won by Republican Scott Brown, Cap & Trade, Obamacare, etc.
