George W. Bush, Miss Me Yet Billboard … Hope & Change, eh?

It is not an Internet photoshop trick, it is the real deal. A billboard popped up along I-35 near Wyoming, MN, with a huge photo of former President George W. Bush and this question: “Miss Me Yet?” Now the hunt is on to find out who paid for the billboard ad.

gwb_missmeyet

Maybe it one of the millions of people who are disappointed with President Obama and not to impressed by his “hopey-changey” campaign promises. The speculation continues as to who has a wit and a sense of humor to do such an act. As Powerline adds, it is a questioned being pondered by more and more Americans every day.

Hat Tip: Breitbart TV

Unemployment up, budget deficits up, government spending up … Barack Hussein Obama’s poll numbers down!

You miss that he led us to the brink of economic disaster? You miss that he declared Mission Accomplished…..unless his mission was to destroy America….THAT he almost accomplished!

Was not a big fan of George Bush as Pres, but think he is a grand human being. Any mistake in the principle reasons for entering Iraq — belong to us all as a society; all the world for failing information — and not having already gone in there years previously for other reasons.

Obama, I cannot tolerate as a human, and could not imagine how others could not see through his lies from the beginning. He is blamed plenty now, though oh how liberals can prevent blame from sticking on them. And Obama and his terrorist congress eat thier own; he attacks us — we the diet of ineptness. No forgiving for his bowing us away, apologizing for us, ‘changing’ us rather than “leave it”.

Ey. They forgot to add his party collegues plucking their knives out of his back. Strange.

No, no one misses the guy who reigned on a platform of fear, cast our ideals overboard, invalidated any argument we could ever make against another country torturing our own soldiers, got us into economic meltdown and into 2 wars on two different fronts, and left the whole crap for someone else to clean up.

I guess some impressions are for eternity. At least no one will ever forget him.

#4 Watch this video the Democrats in Congress (leading Congress) in 2004.. saying that nothing was wrong with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, even after it was shown the books were being cooked.. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were giving out loans to everyone, even though they couldn’t afford them. It gets real old listening to the same old same old..

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs

Right now I feel like neither party has a clue to fix anything.. They all led us down a big hill to the edge of a cliff and all they can do now is sit around and argue like 2 year olds that don’t want to share their toys. Everyone knows when times are tough, you can not spend your way out of debt. How can we keep spending and spending money we don’t have.

Jimmy Carter is the worst president in my lifetime and I voted for him.. So far all I have seen of Obama, Reid and Pelosi is talk, talk, talk, teleprompters and spend spend spend. Power hungry and Greed is what drives politics now. If the govt. run social security in the ground and bankrupt why should we believe they wouldn’t do that to health care or anything else they touch.. Was listening to tv a few weeks ago and heard the tax code is now 12 times the size of the Bible.

I miss Laura Bush.. she is one classy lady.

    18. cathy on February 9th, 2010 5:28 pm

      YES, YES,YES,

If nothing else Bush is a lot more honest and courageous than our present administration. He did not say one thing on Monday and turn around and do the opposite on Tuesday. Nor, did he change his beliefs depending on the group he was addressing.

As for 9/11, that was thrust on all of us, in particular THE PEOPLE OF NEW YORK CITY , the place Obama wants to hold the TERRORIST TRIALS.
That is an insult to the families of the victims and to the victims themselves.

    19. tuyvnsurvivor on February 9th, 2010 6:22 pm

#17, I agree with some of your sentiments. Under Bush we lost much of what needs to be our collected interest. That of Freedom and preservation of our Constitution. Particularly in the areas where the founders intended permananent. Take the powers of the gov’s abilty to go after ‘terroistic thinkers’ (you, me, monkeys or those who disagree with the gov), put it in the hands of Obama or the current domestic enemy congress…that is real scary to the future we leave our children.

Maybe we have to limit our battles to looking to leaderships for Freedom and adherance to our Constitution — devoid of precedenting it away for the sake of sociolisum.

Each of us could get onto other feature battles. Mine would expand to limited terms! I would rather see you serve ‘out-not-knowing-you’ than to keep one more paid for senator. No more black projects to which we have no representation…that trust is dead with secret bases several, under ground bunkers — to the mega billions, and more. I would love to hear one day that law makers met and passed no laws and stole no freedom…they played cards and went home. But if they wish to pass one for honesty, pass one that no one can hold office who also belongs to ANY secret organization.

However, I will settle for freedom and our constitution.

    21. NewGirlBoston on February 9th, 2010 7:46 pm

#4 & # 11— You are both pathetic individuals. No one is listening to or cares about your OLD OLD OLD critisisims of GWB anymore; American political history as time goes by will be the judge—not you two idiots.

While no one on here will say he didn’t make mistakes or was perfect—I certainly felt his stance on Terrorisim and understanding foriegn affairs and how to identify our enemies instead of kisses their asses and bowing to them was much more accepted than what the embarrassment that is Barack Obama is on display for all the world to see.

Save your pity party—it reeks of fear. You know now that your FAILED HERO’s days are numbered—God help us to make it through another 3 years with this man in office. Health Care reform is DEAD—and so is the FALSE SENSE OF BOGUS HOPE and a whole other boatload of BS he tried to sell the American people over a year ago.

Truth hurts. Too bad. Repeat—no one cares or is listening to your boring spin anymore. You are being laughed at because, like your leader—you are stubborn and dense and really don’t get it.

    24. yoyo muffintop on February 9th, 2010 10:49 pm

“critisisims”. Really #21? Yet you call others “idiots”. Hahahahahaha.

So let me get this straight…for an extreme right winger such as yourself, time stopped on January 20, 2009 and started back up on the 21st. Did I get that right? Lol.

Let me guess, anti-american wingnut #21′s favorite book – “How I am so great at identifying our enemies yet let 3000 people die because I hadn’t a clue who our enemies were even though they told me who they were” by GWB.
      _____________
SM: The reality is and the point of the billboard and this post which you refuse to address …. there are many in the US who echo the sentiments of the message of the billboard.

It is a classic example of don’t ask for things they might come true. America, how is that “hopey, changey” thing workin out for ya?

Obama has been a colossal failure and disappointment. That comes from the LEFT and the Independents.

He calls the Republicans the Party of “NO” yet he is such an inept failure, he had a 60-40 filibuster proof majority in the Senate … he had an overwhelming majority in the HOUSE and he still can’t pass his signature health care bill that he has bet his entire presidency on because the plan is a loser and WE THE PEOPLE hate it.

He cant even get his own party to pass this POS now. Dems are now in campaign mode for midterms and they know Obama care is a death blow to their career.

To not be able to accomplish anything when you have such wide majorities is a colossal failure of leadership.

That is a fact no matter who is President.

#21. You know, we have 65 years of the same old criticism of Hitler. Do you think time invalidates that? Or more fitting, 29yrs of criticism of Carter.

As time goes by? You mean as we forget the dirty details and that all too human, twinkly eyed “those were the days” feeling sets in?

No worries. Bush will remain famous. If you are already forgetting, the entire world can remind you. Everyone has crossed gwb off their list. Do you see or hear him speaking anywhere relevant? As Clinton and Carter and some Reps still do?

Nobody cares about GWB. And that is the most telling criterion there is.

SM says: “there are many in the US who echo the sentiments of the message of the billboard.”

And there are many in the US who still believe the Earth is flat, the Erath is only 6000yrs old, and GWB “kept us safe from terrorism” (even though 3000 died on US soil from terrorism on his watch).

I just read my palm and it said “so what” and “LOL”.

    32. Maggie on February 10th, 2010 4:36 pm

Anyone who believes terrorism isn’t a threat to our country under any president’s watch is living in a dream world. It’s not all about Bush.. We were attached successfully more times under Clinton..

      per the 9/11 commission report

After releasing the report, 9/11 Commission Chair Thomas Kean declared that both Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush had been “not well served” by the FBI and CIA.

Then Clinton said in 1998 about Saddam and nuclear weapons:

In Clinton’s 1998 State of the Union Address he said.

Together we must also confront the new hazards of chemical and biological weapons, and the outlaw states, terrorists and organized criminals seeking to acquire them. Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation’s wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them.

Sure 9/11 happened on George Bush’s presidency, but it was being planned long before he took office.. when the terrorists arrived in the USA to become pilots etc.

the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured 1,000

the 1993 ambush in Somalia, which killed 19 and injured 84

the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel

the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel

the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel

the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors

and the Oklahoma bombing..which killed 168 and injured 680 under Clinton’s watch

and let’s not forget the rwanda fiasco when Clinton and his people just stood by while genocide of up to 1 million people occured..

I don’t for one minute ever doubt that Bush had our security in his thoughts 24/7 when he was president.

So far this year we have seen the underwear bomber..tried to blow up a plane.. The nut in Texas who killed 13 and injured 30 at fort hood. Trying to hold terrorist trials in New York with the foreign terrorists having the same privileges as U.S. citizens.. unreal

We have no idea how many plots have been stopped that we aren’t privy to. I am sure we would be amazed if we seen it.

I do not hate George Bush or think he is some big monster.. nor do I agree with some of the things he done.. Don’t think we should ever have went into Iraq.. It has cost billions and billions and part of that was stolen by corrupt people to live the good life off of American tax dollars. George Bush is now appearing with Bill Clinton on commercials and fundraisers to raise money for Haiti.

I will never endorse all the billions of dollars we are spending including pork when we are trillions of dollars in debt..by any president. If things weren’t so bad right now for others and the debt wasn’t so high, it wouldn’t look as bad.. but daily we see the millions just wasted on stupid stuff like thousands for expensive liquor for Nancy Pelosi’s friends.. tax payer money.

In companies the top guys are making 100 times the salary as the blue collar laborers doing the work..why not give the laborers a little more of the money?

I have seen Obama do nothing so far except talk, and spend billions.

    33. Noreen on February 10th, 2010 6:45 pm

Yes we miss him. I am so tired of hearing the same campaign speech for Obama. Our country appears weak to the rest of the world because he can’t take a stand for this country. He is to wishy washy on defense and this is not the time for that.

I have always said if he got into the oval office we would be hit BIG TIME ON OUR SOIL. I pray to God it does not happen.

Yes, President Bush, I miss you. I wasn’t always happy with some of your decisions, yet no one is perfect. Still, you did/do love the USA, were/are proud of America, stood up for us & fought. You understand that freedom isn’t free, there is a price, and often a difficult one. You understand values. Currently it is fact that Americans are encouraged to dumb down, rely on the government for every little thing in life, to take no honor or have any type of self respect in an honest day’s hard work. Seems as if there are no longer consequences either, you get greedy/lazy and that’s okay, someone (gov … hahahaha, taxpayers more like it) will bail you out, because you know, you deserve everything that you see anyone else have. President Bush, you understood life isn’t fair, yet the beauty of America is you have the choice to get off your duff and change your life … for now … and I believe deeply that you honored someone our country was founded upon … FACT:America is a Christian nation. God is our Lord.

Thank you for your time in office. May God bless you and Mrs. L. Bush.
