Senator-Elect Scott Brown … A Class Act Answering Reporters Question Regarding Presidential Timber

THIS IS WHY SCOTT BROWN WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR MASSACHUSETTS …

Take a good look and listen folks … this is what class sounds like in a politician and a respectful and thankful man.  Scott Brown is a breath of fresh air and the Hope & Change that this country really needs.

Listen to how he answers the reporters question regarding whether he is Presidential Timber. You don’t hear a lot of “I” and “me” and don’t you know who I am. Great answer to a question that is far too premature.

“Listen, I don’t want to be disrespectful, but I have had no sleep right now. I haven’t even been down to Washington yet and I don’t want to say that’s a silly question, but, I’m just so thankful for the support I’ve received from everybody. Last night when I stayed and shook everyone’s hands who was sweating and pushing, those are the people I want to go down there and represent.” (via the Breitbart TV)

The rest of Washington, DC including President Barack Obama could take a page from the Scott Brown gracious book of thanking, listening to and respecting the voters.

Brown heads to Washington after upset Senate win

Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown, whose surprise win in the race to fill the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy’s seat created the sonic boom heard all the way to Washington, was visiting the nation’s capital Thursday to pay a round of courtesy calls on his new colleagues.

Two days after his win cost President Barack Obama his filibuster-proof 60-vote majority in the Senate, Brown was making his first trip to the institution he reordered and the city he set abuzz after Tuesday’s upset election.

Here’s a prediction for you right now, SM. I think we have something like 10 Dem Congressmen here in Mass. I predict that at least 5 of them will be replaced by REP by the next election.

People are waking up and riding the wave….Hmnnn….let’s see what happens here soon. While Boston did just re-elect Mumbles Menino—-I think the Governor is outta here next! Bostonians have made it pretty clear previous to anyone even knowing who Scott Brown was that Deval has been doing a really crappy job. He can’t be trusted, he hasn’t delivered and people were really excited to vote him in, too. He also has but Boston deep in a hole budget-wise and laid off State Workers to boot. What a freakin mess!

HUGE disappointment so looks like he will be sweating bullets come November for re-election.

      GAS UP THE TRUCK!

      New Girl,

Not sure about 5, but I will take it. From what I am hearing there are 3 races in Mass for US Rep that are very winnable. However, after what happened the other night any thing is possible.

The election of Scott Brown may have opened the flood gates. It told Mass voters that it is ok to vote Republican after being brainwashed for years that it was not.

The only way Bay State voters will get politicians to listen to them is if there is two party rule.

A monolithic vote is a wasted vote.

#3—Perhaps 5 was an over optimistic number- but we can still dream here in Mass. You are right—- When the Celts won the World Championship in ’08- even Kevin Garnett screamed, “Anything is possible!!” =)

Here is the first State Rep currently being challenged in his upcoming election:

Delahunt. He’ll be first to go, IMO. Then will be Mike “..a Rep will never win this election” Capuano. How I would love to see Ed ” Coakley is going to win this Election” Markey follow right behing him, too. The absolutely most despised in this State is Barney “I don’t even know what Pot looks like” Frank.

It will be very interesting to follow and I am just so happy to see so many citizens for the first time in a long time getting involved and actually being excited again about politics and their Government in general. I’d like to give a shout out to Michael Graham of 96.9 FM WTKK also for his voice on the radio and he and Michelle McPhee and all of their support to Scott Brown during this campaign. They really helped to get the word out there on Scott Brown and were a big voice in our Community.

      =)
