Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter (D) Announcing Retirement … Another Blow to Democrats in 2010

Drip, drip, drip … More bad news for Democrats.

Another Democrat is calling it quits. This time it is Colorado Governor Democrat Bill Ritter who is stating he will not be seeking reelection in 2010.  Ritter comfortably won a first term as Colorado Senator in 2006; however, he was facing a tough reelection battle against former Republican Representative Scott McInnis. In less than four years, from landslide victory to withdrawal from race.  My what a difference one year of the Obama Presidency makes.

Oh those Obama coattails of Hope & Change

A recent Scott Rasmussen poll had Governor Bill Ritter trailing Republican challenger Scott McInnis.

As stated at NRO, this is devastating news for Democrats. The once Democrat governor shining star and one time Obama VP hopeful is not out of politics.

Gov. Bill Ritter began making calls to other prominent Colorado Democrats around 6 p.m. notifying them of his decision.

Colorado’s Ritter won’t seek second term as governor. So do Democrats and Obama still want to live in Fantasy Land as to what 2010 has in store?

The RATS are fleeing the ship.

The elections in 2010 will be a massacre. Buy stock in Kleenex as Dems will be buying in in mass quantities.

How fast the demise of the Republicans came to an end. In 2008 after Obama won the Reps were considered DOA.

Now Dems may never see these types of majorities in House and Senate ever.

yes, something is up. what is it? i read about universal votes, illegals voting? i am still worried. voter fraud is big.

be at the polls in 2010! watch for voter fraud.

voter fraud is what got obama elected. criminals will naturally vote for another criminal.
our tax dollars are funding so many criminal activities run by the obama administration that they don’t even try to hide it.

#2 – Your 2006 midterm predictions were woefully bad so your prediction of “The elections in 2010 will be a massacre” really holds no weight.

However, your thoughts that “Ever get the feeling people just lie to the pollsters and tell them what they want to hear?” (10/31/06) is probably correct.
SM: Sorry YoYo,not when every poll is negative and the preceding polls of the 2009 governor and US Rep races were dead on correct. Try your spinning elsewhere, your comments have no merit.

Wanna bet 2010 is not going to be a Democrat Turkey shoot? (metaphor, obviously).

30 year Senators do not just leave office unless they know they will be voted out. The cowards do not even have the common decency to have the people show their displeasure and vote them out.

Sorry Yoyo, get your Kleenex ready.
