Daily Commentary – Tuesday, December 8th, 2009 – Amanda Knox Sentenced for Murder Conviction of Meredith Kercher

  • She’s been given a 26 year prison sentence, but there is still quite a bit of controversy over the trial. Was there anti-American bias on the part of Italian jurors, or was she guilty. Was the evidence strong enough or was it an over zealous prosecutor. Amanda Knox has been found guilty and will appeal … this story is far from over.

Did Kercher truly get a fair trial due to over exposure in the Italian Media? Not so sure she did.

However, there appears to have been a mountain of evidence (both forensic & circumstantial) against her.

What was the fate of her Italian boyfriend involved in this? Surely he was an accessory to Murder himself?

      oOps….meant Knox, not Kercher.

Speaking of the Kerchers—Thoughts and prayers always go out to the family and friends of the victim(s). The taking of an innocent life in such a brutal manner is such a sad ordeal…could never imagine losing a child or loved one in this way.

      =(

She most DEFINITELY did get a fair trial in ACCORDANCE with the Italian court system…she did NOT commit a crime in the US.

I’m tired of seeing her parents faces all over TV. What about the girl who was MURDERED by this psycho?

Scott: you were there? Cool. Now we all know what REALLY happened. AND you’re absolutely right: just being the parent of someone who has been convicted of murder is no excuse whatsoever for appearing in the news all of the time.

      Sheesh.

Prosecutors were not over zealous but they did their job. All evidences were against Amanda and she was found guilty! What I cannot stand is the intromission interferce of some AMERICAN establisment such as Hilary Clinton for example and American media. They want Amanda released and they accused the Italian system of justice. I believe that if Amanda were not white and poor, nobody care about her case.

If you want to read more about my opinion about this case
