Tragic News Out of Fort Hood, TX … Mass Murder at Fort Hood
Twelve people have been killed and 30 wounded at Ft Hood in Texas in a heinous and murderous shooting spree. The gunman has been identified as an Army psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan who was supposed to be deployed to Iraq later this month. According to reports, Hasan feared an impending war deployment is in custody as the sole suspect in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood.
Our sympathies and prayers go out to the brave fallen soldiers and their families.

So does this mass murder rise to the level of a hate crime? Or is it an act of terror?
Hasan was initially reported as killed in the following gun battle; however, according to later reports, the Fort Hood shooter is not dead. Hasan survived his wound and is not in danger of dying.
The shooter was initially reported to have been killed, but Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone told a late night news conference that the suspect was wounded and in custody. Cone would not say what Hasan’s medical condition was, but said the suspect was not in danger of dying.
Hasan is not talking to authorities, said Cone.
Two other soldiers were taken into custody, but were later released.

Deaths are a result of a single gunman, even though initially two other officers were taken into custody. They were later released. Malik Nadal Hasan is a 39 year old graduate of Virginia Tech and a psychiatrist licensed in Virginia who was practicing at Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood. He had previously worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. It would appear that Hasan received a poor performance evaluation while at Walter Reed, SHOCKER!

Statement from Hasan’s family:
“Our family loves America. We are proud of our country, and saddened by today’s tragedy,” the statement said. “Because this situation is still unfolding, we have nothing else that we are able to share with you at this time.”
Interview with co-worker Terri Lee of Hasan from Fox News via Macsmind. This individual worked with Hasan at the psych ward at Fort Hood. Hasan had made outlandish comments in the past condemning and critical our foreign policy. It cannot be lost on the fact that this killer was a Muslim and had made comments like according to this individual, “maybe Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor.” Hasan was referring to Muslims standing up to Americans as he believed that American should not be in Iraq or Afghanistan.
One thing is for certain, there are 12 people dead and over 30 injured. Families, friends, wives, husbands and children are suffering tragic losses tonight. This is believed to be the worst attack ever at a U.S. base, said the commanding general of Fort Hood, Lt. Gen. Robert Cone. This is no time for the press, military or our political leaders to get PC on this heinous mass murder. Call it for what it was … a terror act.

Why did he even join the Army? To pay his medical school bills? The Army screwed up big time.
Those poor heroes at Walter Reed had Dr. Hasan treat them!
To be a licensed psychiatrist you must under go a psychiatric audit. The other psychiatrists who gave him a green light to be a licensed psychiatrist need to loose their licenses.
My heart goes out to all of the families of the brave soldiers who were murdered in cold blood and the victims wounded by this ISLAMIC RADICAL MADMAN.
What a shocker to hear the MURDERER is still alive, but at the same time a relief in hopes there will be answers.
I wanted to choke the MURDERER’S cousin in the telephone interview with Shepherd Smith when he said Hasan was a “good American”, grrrrrrrrr!!

If these so-called American Muslims can’t separate their radical beliefs from defending America, then they shouldn’t be allowed to serve in our military!! May Hasan rot in HELL for unjust, heinous act against Americans!! The psychiatrist had some real deep seeded mental issues, but didn’t have to take it out on innocence bystanders

I’ve never done this, commented! I think this guy is a “sleeper cell”. The reason he didn’t want to be deployed is that he’s involved in something much bigger that were not seeing! Our Government needs to investigate every aspect of this guy with a microscope for at least 20 years.

Witnesses to Thursday’s massacre at Fort Hood said alleged shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan appeared calm and shouted “Allahu Akbar!” before opening fire at a crowd of young soldiers, pausing only to reload before he was taken down by a female officer who is being hailed as a hero.
It was very deliberate in his approach, they said that he was calm,” Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone, the base commander at Fort Hood, told “Good Morning America” today.
“He was shooting people more than once if he could,” said Cone.
The attacker killed 13 people and wounded 30. The Fort Hood Web site today addressed the tragedy with a line reading “Friday Is Day of Mourning! — The duty day will begin no earlier than 0900.”
President Obama warned today against “jumping to conclusions” regarding the motive for the shooting and ordered flags to be flown at half staff until Veteran’s Day, saying that the “entire nation is grieving.”
The president said he had met with the FBI chief to discuss the massacre.
Cone told NBC’s “Today” show that eyewitnesses remember hearing Hasan, who is a Muslim, shouting “God is great!” in Arabic right before he opened fire.
