I went to listen to this, but I can’t pull up a podcast. No Audio or download button. My mistake or monkey business?

Got it. Listened. Great commentary by Wendy, as usual. A lot of common sense instead of gibberish. I’d add that if we’re going to “educate” people to not abuse, it starts with the kids. You Tubes of kids fighting on buses or elsewhere are NOT cool. Teaching them to cope with problems and address them in non-violent ways is the job of parents. Schools should, perhaps, address this issue with speakers like Wendy, since too many parents fall short of the mark. Also, let’s not forget that children who are abused have a higher tendency to abuse as they grow up. So it’s a vicious cycle. Get the abusers out of the house and into jail. Teach our children to handle life’s curves without violence. And (I have to add this, you know) watch for early signs of trouble which often times is abuse of animals.
