VP Biden may need to have his head and dreams analyzed if he believes that this dream is not a complete nightmare.
Vice President Joe Biden might want to come back to that little place I like to call Earth. His latest comments regarding the $787 billion stimulus package would make even the most ardent democrat Kool-Aid drinker take pause and stare in disbelief.
As he’s been known to do, Vice President Joe Biden made a remark that the GOP has pounced on. Biden was touting the success of the economic recovery package in a conference call yesterday with governors from around the country, when he said this…
“In my wildest dreams I never thought it would work this well.”
Biden was referring to the amount of money that’s been dished out to the states — “$150 billion bucks” — so far, though House Republican leaders beg to differ with his metric for success.
Biden’s comments regarding any positive that the stimulus has had on the economy is in direct opposition and disconnect with the American people who states that only 9% of adult consumers rate the economy as good or excellent.
Why does this Administration feel the need to insult our collective intelligence?
Unemployment is nearly 10% nationally and Americans continue to lose jobs, yet Biden thinks that this is a good thing. Talk about out of touch with reality. Foreclosures are still occurring, layoffs continuing and yet Biden paints a rosey picture. It’s time for Joe to be put back in the witness protection bunker again by Obama so he does not embarrass The One again.
