Barack Obama’s SPINAL TAP Moment … The One Talks to the School Children … This is What He Got: Wash Your Hands

There is nothing wrong with a President stating the importance of telling children to stay in school; however, was that what this was originally all about?

The Presidents speech to the school children of America can best be described as Barack Obama’s “SPINAL TAP” moment. One can question whether the speech that the “transparent”President Obama finally released was in fact what was initially intended. After all, the context of the “talk to the students” was released under the cloak of darkness even after the Van Jones resignation.

Do we really believe that the original speech was about Johnny washing his hands? If so why did Obama in the end scrap the lesson plans? Does anyone find it strange that while children were supposed to be learning, they are instead taken away from their studies to watch Obama and them have their time diverted to the extensive lesson plan?

What is interesting in the Obama speech is just how many times“Obama” references himself. Hmm … I thought this was about the children? However, what would one expect when the original Obama speech was entitled, “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what your children can do for Obama”.

Also, people might claim that isn’t the Obamamessiah speaking to the children a violation of separation of “Church and State”?

THIS IS WHAT HE WANTED!

THIS IS WHAT HE GOT!

Spinal_Tap_black cover

For those unfamiliar with the 1980’s heavy metal satire cult movie, this is the album cover they wanted. The glove and original cover wanted by Spinal Tap can be compared the the offensiveness of Barack Obama having a lesson plan for all the children to follow.

Bobbi Flekman: You put a *greased naked woman* on all fours with a dog collar around her neck, and a leash, and a man’s arm extended out up to here, holding onto the leash, and pushing a black glove in her face to sniff it. You don’t find that offensive? You don’t find that sexist?

Of course other Presidents have spoke to school children like Reagan, Clinton and Bush; however, they did not have a political/educational agenda learning (indoctrination) lesson attached to their speech. The speech is never really what was in question, although some parents were rightfully upset that Obama did an end run on parental authority with the lesson plan. However, it should be pointed out that when past Republican Presidents spoke, Democrats, not parents were upset.  What is apparent is that people have begun to really not trust this President.

CNN is quick to point out that Laura Bush defended Obama’s speech; however, she also said that it was the lesson plan that was the issue. Anyone and every one should tell children of the importance of school, especially their parents.

Please ABC, the controversy was not the speech, it was all that went along with the speech in doing lesson plans that Obama is good, how can I help Obama. Hell, why didn’t they just have the children make posters that Obama could use during his next campaign? Oh, wait they did.

The truth of the matter is that Obama and his minions tried to pull a fast one on the parents of America and they got their hand slapped.

One would ask The One why the context of the speech was not made public much sooner than one day before it was to take place?

Maybe because it did not exist?

Obama has brought all this upon himself. This Admin takes the people for granted and is as unorganized as I have ever seen from a WH.

Their message is jumbled because there is no message.

This is what happens when an arrogant ruler tries to jam policy down people’s throats against the will of the people.

Total try at indoctrination. Former speeches made by former Presidents to schools did NOT have the ramifications that this moron’s speech had.

You are right Red, there is A hidden reason why the speech wasn’t released earlier. The whole lesson plan thing was laughable and ridiculous.

Why is he speaking to kids who do not fit the socialized medicine policies where the majority of care will go towards people between 15-4?

Obama is showing time and time again his total inexperience.

    3. ANewGirl on September 8th, 2009 10:40 am

Obama just continues to embarrass himself as the empty suit that he is. I also believe that this attempt at indoctrination will be a failure.

While any parent can appreciate a theme of pointing out to school aged children how important setting goals and education are- this was not the way to go about it. It just reeks of EGO to me! Who the hell does the Obamasiah STILL think he is anyway, some kind of a Savior for the New World? NOT!

Just a quick indoctrination for the Youth Corp of the future.

I would ask everyone on this panel and any other to tell me wtf is wrong with him addressing our children, our future? He is not the first Pres to do it and will not be the last. Did yall disect all of Bush’s motives, when he spoke to scholl children? Clinton? Carter? Reagan? No. The difference between this Pres and the afore-mentioned, is that he is BLACK. Lets face it; lets all get out of denial. Because otherwise, whats the issue?

Since his election, EVERY LITTLE THING he does or says, is scutinized…

I suggest yall all get used to the fact that for the next 3 some yrs (and maybe the next 4), HE IS THE PREZ! you caint change it, nothing you can do: its not like yall gone find a mistake that will impeach him or something, and thats whatcha gonna need…Why stress your self?
      ________
SM: First, many people do not trust him.

Second, its not the message, the problem is the messenger. Since when does a socialist want individuals to succeed?

Third, his speech was completely changed and the lesson plan was dropped.

That is why this is Obama “Spinal Tap” moment.

He tried to pull a fast one and got bagged.

Oh~ and on the question of the contents of the ‘secret speech: what ELSE could have been in ti? Was he going to recruit the kids to some kind of uprising? Some type of mass- Jim Jones experience? I mean really -explain your madness…! With all the things he has to do as President, wth is wrong with not having a speech ready more than a day or two in advance, without there being an ulterior motive ? See this is real nit-picking. You guys need to spice up yall Obama-bashin lives…!
      _________
SM: Because he was supposed to be the most transparent President ever that why? Have some more Kool-Aid.

How is a parent supposed to make a decision without knowing the context of a speech? This was in school where parents are asked to review and sign things all the time when it comes to their children.

He knew he was going to do this for how long? My God he had a friggin 20 part lesson plan (sorry brain washing agenda) set up. The speech should have been the easy part.

    7. Blue Swan on September 8th, 2009 12:05 pm

Shouldn’t Republicans get some time after the speech, like at State of the Union, to make our counter argument? We could get Sarah Palin to come on — bet she’d be more interesting for kids than Barrack O’Boring.

      Obama: Leave our children Alone!

Obama: Do what you are paid to do!

Prime time event for OB-The One – in front of the little ones. It could have been done after school, when parents are at home – so they could make their own decision about if they would watch or not. End of controversy for the school system. There’s enough to worry about at school – Like Bullying!

    10. Miklo on September 8th, 2009 1:17 pm

      Wouldn’t a “stay-in-school” speech

be more appropriate for students in Middle School and High School?

      Obama is freaking people out.

      No, not because he’s Black.

He is freaking people out because he is NOT governing from the middle – he’s trying to drive the boat too FAR LEFT.
Now the boat is turning around and around into hard left-tilting circles – and we are taking on water!

    13. SUPER DAVE on September 8th, 2009 3:29 pm

obama now says they will fine those who go without insurance. this is absurd !!!! $3800 fine for a family. does this stupid ass boy actually think people are going to pay this bullshit fine ?
this is the government finally turning on it’s own citizens. next will come the violence.

    14. Susan on September 8th, 2009 6:04 pm

ms debi – Do you think that everything George W. Bush did while he was in office wasn’t scrutinized under the microscope by the LEFT and MSM?? Are you saying a DOUBLE STANDARD should be applied just coz Obama is black?? I know, AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, right?? WRONG!! Worst damn mistake America every made was putting Affirmative Action into law. It’s not fair for a white man to be passed over for a much deserved promotion to any race just to meet a FREAKING QUOTA!!

    15. yoyo muffintop on September 8th, 2009 8:53 pm

#14 – I guessing you don’t know that white American women have been the biggest beneficiaries of Affirmative Action.

Racists such as yourself (which you have admitted to #14) usually aren’t the brightest.

      Lol.

    16. Susan on September 8th, 2009 9:37 pm

No, yoyo mutton arse, I’ve never admitted to being a bigoted, narrowminded, self-serving, racist pig such as yourself :-)

I knew you’d respond to my comment, so the laugh is on you, hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

You see, Affirmation Action was/is the “white man’s restitution” for alleged discrimination against people of color, which ended up being nothing more than “a hand out” for black men who were/still are less qualified for the jobs and promotions applied for. No checks and balances were ever put in place, therefore the end result was/still is reverse discrimination.

    17. lerrik on September 8th, 2009 9:46 pm

yoyo – why don’t you do us all a favor… go for a jog and lose that muffintop. Gross!

    18. Scared Monkeys on September 8th, 2009 10:01 pm

First of all the speech was way too long,

Second, it was really meant for upper middle to high school kids. This probably went way over the heads of the younger kids.

Third, too bad the President and his policies do not promote individual success.

    19. Scott on September 9th, 2009 6:25 am

I guess wet behind the ears liberal leeches of society like yoyo and ms debi and whatever else scum of the world seem to not understand that in 1991 when Bush 41 gave a speech to students; the Democrats held hearings and even ordered the GAO to investigate to make sure no appropriation laws were broken; AT taxpayers expense!!

Once again, racists bring up racism because that’s the easy and unintelligent card to use; they do not have thoughts for themselves. The hang on ever word of Olberman, Maddow and Obama man-loving; tickling legs Matthews on MSNBC; all significant losers in the ratings…much like Obama in the ALL THE POLLS on almost every significant issue out there!

It’s amazing the HYPOCRISY from the left. It’s only a major issue if a REPUBLICAN President makes a speech.

The list goes on and on….

Liberals know their time is going to be short lived and that’s why they are in attack mode…quite entertaining actually to see them for what they really are; disgusting government needy scum!

    20. SUPER DAVE on September 9th, 2009 7:22 am

YOYO: i know you hate the fact that you are not a white American woman.

LMAO again @ SUPER DAVE # 24 and 28 I once had a run in with a Vietnamese slut over in Germany who accused me of having an affair with her Mexican husband. I wouldn’t have touched him with a 25 foot pole…considering who he was married to. Hated ‘em all ever since!

Uh, yeah, no admitted racism there. Lol.

As for your post #16 you are either uneducated or racist or both. My guess…both. That would be the only conclusion one could draw from your description of what Affirmative Action is and who it helps.

    22. Patricia Cannon Hamilton on September 9th, 2009 12:40 pm

PRESIDENT OBAMA GAME A GREAT SPEECH!! He was fantastic and I’m proud of him. My 14 year old son and 16 year old daughter heard him at their high school. They said ALL THE KIDS gave the President a standing ovation.

President Obama did NOT ram anything down our kids throats. You people are wack jobs if you think he did. OTHER presidents spoke to the nations children and NOTHING was said bad about them.

YOU PEOPLE ARE RACISTS!!! Hateful people!!

    23. super dave on September 9th, 2009 2:54 pm

yoyo: i know you want to be one of us but since you had a hand in putting our country at risk, you are disqualified. sorry !!

    24. super dave on September 9th, 2009 2:58 pm

blacks are about the most racist people.they all hate each other and all white people. this is why yoyo can’t advance past her racism and do the right thing.
just look at her race filled hatred posts and you recognize the racist in her, him, it ?
