• He says cops “acted stupidly”. Dana says he should keep out of it. Once again Barack Obama comments about something he is not familiar with.

   I have been watching Henry Louis Gates Jr. on PBS for years. His whole career is based on racism against blacks. Now with a black president he has become a bitter nobody. Gates Jr. staged this arrest.

   I remember a case were a WHITE rancher (Montana or Wyoming?) refused to identify himself to the police on his property. He was arrested. The case went all the way to the Supreme court. The Supremes ruled you must identify yourself to the police! Name and address and ID no BS!

   Now Obama wants to takes sides with the Gates Jr.
   I guess all the racists voted Obama into office also?
   The USA has turned into a bad B movie. Our chief law enforcement officer “Obama” has shown his
   true color.

   now would oblankma say that a black police officer acted stupidly if he arrested an old white man with a cane ? gates saw an oppurtunity to cause some racial strife and jumped on it.
   nothing would have ever been said if this guy had been white. plain case of racism toward white people by the president and his “buddy” louis.

   This is where we are different than the Democratic rabble. I was brought up to be respectful of the badge, not necessarily the man. I’ve had police stop me for no reason, and a very few have been rude and inflammatory. But I’ve never mouthed off at the police like Gates did. He probably broke no laws, but as the men in blue say, you can beat the rap but you can’t beat the ride. He is a jerk who got what he deserved. If Oprah, Katie Couric or Rachel Maddow want to have him on and go tsk tsk, it’s their show. I’m not watching.

   Wow DOLT…you came up with that rationing all by yourself that blacks more than whites have run-ins with policeman. WOW you are a GENIUS…LOL…

   What’s a black person’s excuse for crying racism when it’s a black cop that arrested them?

   People are forgetting to point out that HIS NEIGHBOR called the police, a neighbor who should know lives there. THe police have a job to do. He would have never been arrested had he verbally abused the cop without PROVACATION! This black nerd should go yell at his neighbors.

   The President should apologize but he won’t because this reverse racial ass Gates is his friend. The President has drawn a sketchy line in the sand against the FOP and he has furthered entrenched the police’s problem with the stigma of racial profiling.

   My father was a policeman in DC for 2 years and another 30 years in a county just outside of DC that is one of the most crime ridden counties in the country and he is disgusted at the President’s remarks.

   Obama isnt trying to bring us together as he claimed. He doesn’t view the world like that and all of this is finally come to fruition. He looks at the world through a racial prism; but let’s not forget he’s not your typical black person who has to deal with racial profiling. He’s not your homeboy down the street or the thug in the hood. He’s a NERDY MIXED who probalby never experienced what he claims. Oh boy, he was followed by the police for no apparent reason….

    I don’t see the point in talking too long over this racial topic. The truth is whatever we are black or white, we all have mistakes, BARACK has his own too.Now let me say something, eh Barack! pay attention next time, don’t fall again. I’m still your supporter
