One thing that stands out in my mind is that apparently 3 of their adopted children died over the years. I’ve be interested to know the circumstances and causes of all three deaths just to make sure there’s no connection. I understand they took care of disabled children but 3 deaths seems like a lot out.

Seven people just don’t get together everyday and plan a robbery or a murder like this. When the truth comes out it most likely will be that Bryd and Melanie obtained their wealth with dirt on it. One person, two persons maybe three, but seven robbing one house? Those seven must have known about a large amount of money or drugs that could be split seven ways. Enough money or drugs that each of them must have thought it was worth it to risk their freedoms for it. No way in hell will I be praising those two parents as saints just yet!

#7 Johnsmarty…so are you blaming the victims now? You seem to know a lot about how robbers and killers think, I wonder about you?

Children with special needs often have short lives and need specialized care during those lives and precious years of life. To even suggest that there was more to it is disrespectful. I have no doubt they were monitored closely to see if they could handle the large number of children in their care. It always amazes me when people try to shed negative light on a situation. Shame on you. One of the children that died, and was the reason for providing care for so many disabled children, was the very disabled daughter of Melanie Billings. She resolved her loss and grieving of this child by providing for other children with special needs. It is time to be supportive and stop trashing fine people. Everyone has a past and it is how you live your future that is important.

Some of you are just mean & nasty. #6 #7

      Makes me sick.

Were these people perfect? I doubt it, but they did do a service to the community through their care of these special children. Most special children have short lives. Few reach maturity and this couple were dedicated to taking care of these damaged little ones. It takes a lot of love to do this. God bless their efforts.

This message is for those people leaving stupid messages and disrespecting the dead. Who are you to judge the couple, they used their money to help those less fortunate, those kids that got forgotten because they were not healthy or “normal”. No matter how the couple got their money via good business sense or inherited, they help those children. Now that those sick people that killed them not only took the life of that couple but also took a change for me children to get helped. You the one asking about the death of the other children, will you take of those children know that they have no home? I bet not. And you the one the seems to know how killers think, are you willing to care for those children? People are so quick to judge, no matter how the billings lived there life they didn’t deserve to die that way. No one deserved to get killed, those that are dirtying the billings name should look at themselves first. See if they are perfected
