Republican Minority Leader Boehner: Climate bill a ‘pile of s–t’ … If the Crap Fits … Cap & Trade

What does Republican Minority House Leader John Boehner  think of “Cap & Trade” … or is it crap & trade? John Boehner called the climate “cap & trade” bill “a pile of $hit”.  Boehner know his crap, that is for certain. Weasel Zippers reminds us that Boehner is the same individual who called the stimulus bill what it really is, a “crap sandwich”….. He was correct once before.

Weird Science or Global Waring Junk Science … Same doodoo

Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) had a few choice words about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) landmark climate-change bill after its passage Friday.

When asked why he read portions of the cap-and-trade bill on the floor Friday night, Boehner told The Hill, “Hey, people deserve to know what’s in this pile of s–t.”

Here is a reminder of the 8 Republican turncoats who need to be voted out of office in 2010.

It is not just Republicans that are calling “cap & trade” a tax, interestingly enough, Barack Obama supporter Warren Buffet says it is nothing more than a HUGE tax.  Warren Buffet states that a tax on energy will be passed through to the customer. “It’s a tax like anything else” and will be passed on through to the customer … hint, that would be to “We the People”.

But you know the Republicans are saying it’s going to cost Americans jobs, going to send jobs overseas. And most important, they say it is a huge tax. And on that they have some backup from one of the president’s supporters, Warren Buffett. I guess to Obama supporters, Buffet does not know what he is talking about?

Take a look.

WARREN BUFFETT, CEO, BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY: I think if you get into the way it was written, it’s a huge tax and there’s no sense calling it anything else. I mean, it is a tax. So it — and it’s a fairly regressive tax.

Ace of Spades provides the following Obama mouth piece David Axelrod lie:

In same, David Axelrod lies about how this increase does not affect the poor. Because they’ll pay less for energy or some nonsense, dissembling and ignoring the fact that we all pay x for a kilowatt and y for a gallon, promising they’ll get help with their energy bill.

The White House, House Democrats and moonbats live in a fairy tale world. They can claim all they want that this, like all taxes that Obama favors, are job creators. It is a tax and nothing more. Is suddenly Warren Buffet wrong? Hardly. If wind and solar were such lucrative and important to develop, private industry would have done it already. The truth of the matter is that both are fairy tale green follies. Even if one believed, which I do not, that man is the cause of global warming … how does one pass what is an obvious tax on all Americans during a recession?

The White House and congressional Democrats argued the bill would create millions of “green jobs” as the nation shifts to greater reliance on renewable energy sources such as wind and solar and development of more fuel-efficient vehicles — and away from use of fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal.

It will “make our nation the world leader on clean energy jobs and technology,” declared Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., who negotiated deals with dozens of lawmakers in recent weeks to broaden the bill’s support.

Obama claimed that the average American would not bear the brunt of this historic tax-increase: he stated that instead ““It is paid for by the polluters who currently emit dangerous carbon emissions.”

Just compare this outrageous falsehood to Ronald Reagans’ famous quote:

The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us.

Business doesn’t pay taxes, and who better than business to make this message known? Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business.”

And after the way the rammed this through the House with little debate, without legislators even reading it… and while quarantining the GOP from any meaningful input whatsoever, any foolhardy individuals who still believe Obama’s threadbare “bipartisanship” spiel ought to have their head examined.

Obowma (and minions) takes trillions of our dollars to
the Dump (as far as we know since they REFUSE to
reveal the recipients of our hard earned cash) and
then invents phony schemes to tax us for his spree.
Anything claimed to be done by American Citizens to
quell nature’s warming/cooling trends and cyclical
variations is certainly ridiculous at it’s core.

Let’s get back to the Constitution folks, this gang is
      abusing it’s power!

The trick is to replace the Republicans(and as many Democrats as we can) with INTELLIGENT candidates capable of understanding how detrimental this bill is to the country.

One would hope that we get fresh faces not into the old game that seems to have nurtured these incumbents.

      Let’s start looking TODAY!

Even Microsoft said they will move jobs out of the country if it passes. People just have no clue what it really means versus just thinking it’s a “be kind to the environment” bill. And since the plan is to implement the first part slowly, we could be 3 years into it before the brain dead clue in to what was really passed. So here’s just a little taste

Sets energy efficiency targets for the national building code: “on the date of enactment of the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, 30 percent reduction in energy use relative to a comparable building constructed in compliance with the baseline code…effective January 1, 2014, for residential buildings, and January 1, 2015″

Now can you image the cost of making a home 30% more energy efficient?

Oh and for you renters: if a building costs more to build – the increase in rent will be passed on. Plus this says nothing about the increases in energy costs planned (starting at $170 per year and skyrocketing to $1700 per year in just a few short years), the increase in gas for travel, the increase in products made with energy and the millions of jobs that will be lost. If you think the economy is bad now, just wait.

Your other option is to call and email your senators and tell them what you think about this tax that will effect everyone (especially the people making less than $250,000).

St Stephen you should look into Ron Paul his principles are based on the United States Constitution. I don’t think he would ever be allowed to be President because our corrupt Government doesn’t like being called out by him, again and again. He would never be their puppet, just like JFK wouldn’t fall in line, we all know what they did to him when he spoke out about secret societies.

Said it before will say it again… I think right now both parties are.. off the deep end. Spending like it’s monopoly money. Where are the once BIG voices on both sides..they are so lacking. I can’t believe what I have been watching for the last 10 months.

    10. katablog.com on June 29th, 2009 9:16 pm

Totally agree Maggie. NO ONE is listening to “We the People” or even looking out for our interests. They are not leading, they are playing “Let’s Make a Deal”. And yes, I’m shocked that an entire country and its foundation have totally disappeared since November 2008. Gone.

thanks to the democrats that illegally got obieboy into the whitehouse we will be suffering for years. the only light to this subject is that the democrats will be suffering right along with the rest of us.

    12. SUPER DAVE on June 30th, 2009 1:04 pm

Idi Obama is plainly stupid as are his loyal subjects. to all those who elected him, think of yourself as a peasant working for the master because you are no more than that.
i seriously doubt that there is a democrat out there that even thought of the misery their children will face because of their parents’ ignorance and need to vote for token popularity instead of the well being of their families.
