Barack Obama Says It’s OK for Iran to Have Nuclear Power, As Long as Its For Energy … So Why Can’t the United States?

More Kumbaya Foreign Policy from the Obamamessiah …

More naive and dangerous talk from either the most clueless or the most dangerous Commander Cluelessand Chief that the United States has ever seen. This is just another example of elections have consequences.

President Barack Obama stated that Iran has the right the have nuclear power as long as they use it for good and not evil. That is correct. Barack Hussein Obama thinks its perfectly fine for Iran and their crazed leader President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to have nuclear capability. Are we really supposed to believe that a country with the vast amount of oil that Iran has wants nuclear capability for the use of power rather than bombs?

Hey Barack, are you trying to create a war in the Middle East? How long do you think Israel is going to put up with this? Then again, Obama does seem to be crossing the line with Israel. Iran, a sworn enemy to both the USA and Israel, and we have a President that thinks Iran’s fanatical government is going to use nuclear technology for good. US and Israel relations have certainly taken a turn under Barack Hussein Obama. Not for the better. Why would anyone want to alienate one of the United States greatest allies?

President Barack Obama reiterated that Iran may have some right to nuclear energy _ provided it takes steps to prove its aspirations are peaceful.

Mushroom cloud

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad version of nuclear peace

In a BBC interview broadcast Tuesday, Obama also restated plans to pursue direct diplomacy with Tehran to encourage it to set aside any ambitions for nuclear weapons it might harbor.

Iran has insisted its nuclear program is aimed at generating electricity. But the U.S. and other Western governments accuse Tehran of seeking atomic weapons.

“Without going into specifics, what I do believe is that Iran has legitimate energy concerns, legitimate aspirations. On the other hand, the international community has a very real interest in preventing a nuclear arms race in the region,” Obama said.

Okay, it is bad enough that our Apologist and Chief thinks that it is fine for Islamofascists in Iran to have nuclear technology, for energy purposes of course. Why would Iran need nuclear power when they sit on one of the world’s largest oil reserves? However, explain this one to “WE THE PEOPLE” President Obama, why is Iran allowed to have nuclear power but the United States is not?

So the United States is to remain dependent on countries like Iran and OPEC while President Obama thinks it’s perfectly fine for Iran to have nuclear power plants, but the USA cannot. So we have a President that is not only harming US national security with the potential risk that Iran will develop nukes, Obama also threatens our security by continuing to make us dependent on Middle East oil. Would not the creation of nuclear power plants in the USA go a long way in solving the problem of foreign dependence of oil? Heck, would not drilling for oil in our own backyard do the same?

Then again, let’s just invite Iranian officials to a celebration of America’s Independence and insult the very holiday that celebrates what all of the Iranian people wish they had.

On another situation that I hope SM covers, I just heard that a 266 page “highly classified” top secret document covering all of our locations of nuclear material and equipment was “leaked” over the internet.

If this isn’t WTF, what is? Someone or some people need to be more than fired for this action. This absolutely teeters on criminal activity and treason. THIS CAN’T BE A MISTAKE!

    2. St Stephen on June 3rd, 2009 12:27 pm

      Check that.

Now they back-pedal and call it confidential, not classified.

I know what I heard the first time.

God will wash his hands of us if we turn our backs on Israel.

We are asking for it and it will not be pretty.

i watched a house of rep. hearing last month about the cap and trade crap. all the big power people drooling all over themselves assuring the also drooling reps. assuring each other that it wouldn’t cost l5 cents a household when the cap and trade bill passed and there was plenty of windmill and solar power, and green fuel to take care of our needs. during the time this meeting took, we owed another 4 billion dollars to foreign oil to keep the lights on. no mention was made of louisiana or alaskan gas reserves, or hydropower, which we need the dams for anyway to make up for all the fresh water we’re going to have to save since we’re heading into the global warning crap that’s going to dry us up and blow us away. the whole meeting was pie in the sky rhetoric as they masturbated themselves into orgasm thinking about the billions of dollars they’d be making while starving the rest of us into oblivion.

No Michelle, He will turn His backs on us when we turn out backs on HIM. In order to turn out backs on Israel…we could only have turned our faces and hearts from Him first.

If you read the Bible, it states if the people would return their hearts to Me…not Israel…He would heal their nation. Sadly, I don’t see much healing and that tells me enough.

There has been NO official response to the sacrifice that these young men made preserving our freedom.

That is inexcusable and President Obama should make mention of their heroism in the fight against terrorism right there in Saudi Arabia.

If you will read my post, I said you should give a damn, I think most of us here at Scared Monkeys do give a damn. This was in response to your post #4. I don’t know where you get that I said you have to be a scared monkey to post here.

      Miss Michelle:

      Do you ever read satire?

My comment was showing the hypocrisy in our vision. Why would we allow nuclear power, which we know to be dangerous, in foreign countries but not our own? I’m sure they think of us as being their enemy as much as we do of them. In my opinion, that is the dangerous part.

I was asking why you would think that I don’t give a damn based on my comment…

      Why’s everybody so testy, anyway?

I’d have to plea the fifth on the statement that Israel is a great ally. They stir up more war in the Middle East than anyone. Everybody hates them. They are surrounded by their enemies and YOU would have the audacity to stand up and say we support them to the bitter end? I think that was Carter’s mistake… supporting the Shah.

I wouldn’t be in such a hurry to rush into a religious war. I’m afraid Religion would lose. We are, definitely, out-numbered in that category. Israel? Laugh out loud… great ally that sets SUCH a fine example of American ideals?

      You’re kidding, right?

      :)

      Tell the truth…

The only thing good about Israel is that she buys her weapons from U.S.! But, then again, that’s not such a good thing. Arabs consider every bomb and missile shot from Israel as a special message from the U.S…. Uncle Sam Wants YOU!

      Wake up!

#14 I hope you know that link makes mention that O made NO statement about the killing of recruiters.

Apparently tonight Major Garrett explained that O issued a “written” statement but that you have to call to get a copy since none was released to the media. Hmmm, but he did release a statement about Dr. Tiller’s murder to the public.

and for the most stupid statement of the day:

“This president and his outreach are very threatening to bin Laden and al Qaeda,” said a senior administration official. “It’s terribly bad news to bin Laden and al Qaeda. They’re beginning to lose the propaganda war.

There’s no way bin Laden or anyone else in the foreign world is afraid of O – they leave that to the Americans who know O is destroying this country. No help needed from terrorists.

    20. LilPuma on June 3rd, 2009 10:53 pm

I’m concerned about Israel. I don’t know where they can turn if the U.S. turns their back on them. Israel is the birthplace of my Lord, Jesus Christ. I can go there and practice my religion, unafraid of being beheaded for praying to Christ. They are free, democratic people who do not kill a woman if she is raped. They educate women and women serve in their army and government. They vote for their leaders. They have the right to defend themselves and I would hate to see us abandon them while playing nice with those who hate Israel and the U.S. I do not think this be-nice-to-our-enemies strategy is safe or wise.

The birthplace of your Lord was Palestine, not Israel. King Herod was in Israel and he killed countless children trying to kill the Christ, remember? Most Biblical Writings were found in Iraq, not Israel. No offense meant, but I thought you’d like to know.

      RE Post #22…

Lilpuma, we know what Patti is…please don’t waste time responding to her. I know it’s hard, and I’ve done the same just last night…but need to stop cuz as the Bible says, Christ came not to bring peace, but a sword (division) and for good reason. Those like Patti will never think like you and I and I”ll leave it at that. those who hold the Bible to be the Word of God and love Israel as God’s chosen are never going to see eye to eye with such and are not supposed to!!

    25. Michelle Smith on June 4th, 2009 9:36 am

God says that Israel is his chosen people and we must not turn our backs on Israel. Why do you think so many hate Israel? Because they are the chosen one’s. Some people just don’t get it; Islam believes they are the only religion we are to believe in and if you do not convert, you must die. Do you really believe that playing nice with these people is going to change the fact that they hate us? NO, they only want to convert us to Islam. If we turn our backs on Israel, we are turning our backs on God and I think we need to keep God on our side. Patti/aka Hope claims to be a Christian but then spouts off things like her post in #18. You are either with Israel or against Israel, there is no in between. I happen to believe the Bible is the word of God and that Jesus is the son of God and died on the cross so that we as Christians could have everlasting life.

Personally, I want to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. When God judges the Earth it’s not going to be pretty and I will not be around to witness the Tribulation. I feel sorry for those who are Left Behind, they are in for a rude awakening.

    26. Michelle Smith on June 4th, 2009 9:38 am

      #22 Brenda

Good Post, I agree. I think Patti aka Hope has a screw loose.

    27. Brenda in Virginia on June 4th, 2009 1:06 pm

Michelle, Thanks SO much! Didn’t realize Hope and Patti were the same. I have quit posting in here so much because I couldn’t stomach Hope’s posts..now she trolls Blink as well. Answers alot.

As for the tribulation, I firmly believe the Christians will also be here during that time. Otherwise, why would the Bible speak of the Christians who are are put to death for their faith in that era? Personally, I am not afraid to be here for it. If we are found worthy and taken up, that’s good too.

Just so you and I are on the same page…the “chosen one” those who despise Israel and Christ belong to is Satan. God’s Word declare we either belong to Him or the “evil one” and there is no inbetween. I do pray (as the disciples did) I will be found worthy and don’t pretend I’m perfect. God knows I am not!!!! But at least you and I and many others WANT to do right and believe there is only one God and one Saviour. At least I know that is one thing I will be able to stand before God and declare I did believe!

    28. Patti on June 4th, 2009 3:33 pm

You need to read your Bible instead of taking people’s words for it. Israel disgraced Jehovah, countless times… Remember? He made a new covenant. Those who followed the Christ became Christians, those that didn’t remained Jews.

“Those like Hope”… Have the power of Holy Spirit, something that you could never phantom in a million years! You are my persecution.

      From your Bible:

But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

Ginny falls into the catagory of one who has a form of godly devotion, but proves false to it’s power. Israel, is Jehovah’s Bride… and believe me, she is not of ‘this’ world. She is made up of those whose garments have been washed clean in the blood of the Lamb. How can one be washed of sins in His blood, if he doesn’t even acknowledge Him. It tells you over and over… You can only come to Jehovah through the Christ and you want to send your sons to protect the earthly Israel? Blasphemous!

But, you have the freedom to your own religion, and for that I’d be grateful. Hold onto it.

    29. Patti on June 4th, 2009 4:04 pm

      Michelle:

      You are so right…

      I don’t hate Israel.

I hate sending our kids to fight a war that is based on religion. Did Jesus fight FOR Jerusalem, or did he warn us of wars, rumors of wars and the one that would be drunk in the blood of the Lamb. How many sins do these churches think that God can forgive? They have their own Bibles, the truth, sitting right there and they chose to ignore it. They will, surely, be the ones that will stand before him and declare, ‘But, I performed great works in your name!’ and the Christ will turn away and say, ‘Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’

Israel is what you would call heaven. The earthly Jews lost Jehovah’s favor and only those accepting the Christ would come to reside in heavenly Israel to judge the nations…. those resurrected to live in Paradise.

      :)

    30. Patti on June 4th, 2009 4:06 pm

And… as far as having a screw loose?

You’d never say that if you knew me.

    31. Patti on June 4th, 2009 4:20 pm

By the way, Brenda, the keeper of the gate:

You are nothing… to harm me is like touching God’s eye. The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom. But, you would curse your god in times of tribulation… just as you curse his holy ones.

      Israel?

You didn’t get passed the First Testament!

      Good Day…

    32. Michelle Smith on June 4th, 2009 8:15 pm

Brenda @#27 We do agree on alot of things but I do believe the children of christ will be raptured up before the tribulation, what I interpret from that meaning of them being put to death for their beliefs in christ are the ones that are saved after the rapture, during the tribulation period but as I said, that is how I interpret it.

Israel is God’s chosen people whether we agree or disagree about the Jews it is his word that says we are not to turn away from his people which i.m.o. is turning away from God.

      Have a great evening

    33. katablog.com on June 4th, 2009 11:03 pm

Several different “theories” on what the Bible says about rapture. It could be that current Christians will be raptured and some of those remaining on earth will realize that they have heard the truth and better get right with God. These people could then become remaining Christians on earth who live through the tribulation.

Patti/Hope: A couple of things. You keep telling us if we knew you ….. – we can only “know” you from what you write. I’m amazed to hear your defense of O on one hand and then your statements that you are a Christian. O’s actions as President of the USA are not Christian. I can not speak for what is in his heart, but I can speak to his actions. Christians don’t lie, cheat, steal and swear to uphold the constitution while doing everything they can to bust it. Christians don’t support murder of babies just because they are defenseless. A Christian surely would not sit and listen to Rev. Wright for 20 years. It should only take about 1 of his sermons to know that his teachings are anti-christian.
