The once most “respected” name in News now tries to hide the news
Wonder why so many people have tuned out the main stream media? Maybe it is because they continually prove they are nothing more than liberal, bias hacks! This was never more evident that on April 15, 2009 at the Chicago Tea Party when CNN reporter (liberal activist) Susan Roesgen provided some of the most abusive liberal bias seen in quite some time as she purposely with “Malice and Forethought” got into arguments with Tea Party go’ers and then stated that Tea Parties as being promoted by Fox News and being “anti-CNN”. Anti-CNN? They wish they still had some relevance at CNN for someone to actually target them.
The Founding Bloggers truly hit a nerve with CNN with their exclusive footage of their reporter making a fool out of herself. The result, CNN attempting to say that there is a copyright violation. No, they just can’t stand their own reporter’s free speech be broadcast for all to see.
The first question that should be asked of CNN and the mainstream media is why are they making such a big deal of this? I thought no one went to these “supposed” Tea Parties. The media, including CNN, reported the Tea Parties as a right wing joke, they served no purpose and nothing would come of them. So why is CNN so quick to make the Tea Parties such a big deal? Maybe because deep down is the recesses of their liberal, squelch free speech at all cost minds they know that the Tea Party movement was born and here to stay.
CNN, so embarrassed by the video footage caught live and in color by The Founding Bloggers has asked You Tube to take it down sighting copyright infringement. Guess what CNN, IT’S BACK!!!

CNN claims its is protecting it’s intellectual property, hardly. As Powerline stated, this has more to do with hiding evidence and CNN in a CYA of embarrassing video and unprofessional behavior.
It is hard to avoid the inference that in this case, CNN was motivated not by a desire to protect its intellectual property but by a desire to avoid embarrassment caused by the unprofessional performance of its reporter. In today’s world, though, it just isn’t possible to track down all copies of a video and suppress them, when the video relates to a matter of broad and legitimate public interest. That CNN is willing to make the attempt reveals something, perhaps, about its attitude toward the public’s right to be informed.
The question at the table is, is there any validity to CNN’s copyright claim? Ben Sheffner of Copyrights and Campaigns weighs in. It would appear from the answer provided, the verdict is no.
CNN does own copyright in its own news footage and, as a general matter, has the right to demand its removal from YouTube. However, as to this particular video, I think Founding Bloggers has a very strong fair use defense. The purpose for Founding Bloggers’ posting of the CNN footage is crystal clear: to comment on and criticize CNN’s reporting on the “Tea Party.” Such a use is right in the heartland of the fair use doctrine; the statute specifically mentions “criticism, comment, [and] news reporting” as protected uses that are “not an infringement of copyright.” 17 U.S.C. § 107. To quickly run through the four fair use factors as they apply here: 1) the use is transformative (for critical comment); 2) the CNN footage is factual, not fictional, and was previously broadcast; 3) the amount used is small in relation to the whole CNN broadcast; and 4) any effect on the market is minuscule (and if fewer people watch CNN because this video causes them to think less of its coverage, that’s simply not cognizable harm). Many fair use cases are difficult, close calls–but, given the facts as I know them, this is an easy one.

In the meantime, I encourage every reader with a YouTube account to upload this video to YouTube. I encourage every blogger reading this to embed this same video to your own site. We have to stop these thugs from reading fair use out of the law whenever they’re embarrassed.

There is no value to the CNN network. I have to LOL to their expression for one of their news programs “NO BIAS NO BULL”

Wow! I had seen clips of this, but not the whole thing. Unbelievable. CNN should be very embarassed. This reporter proved what so many already knew.
This is why our Country is doomed. THe media who should be lobbying for the American people have become agenda agents of the extreme left. It’s laughable how Obama and these leftist reporters and the left nutjobs on this site throw out that WHOPPING $400 tax credit when broken down comes to anywhere from $8 to $13 a week. A whole $8 a week while Obama and his administration CONTINUE to spend our tax dollars in ways that HAVE PROVEN THROUGHOUT HISTORY do not work.
These reporters keep touting this $400 as Obama’s promise of a tax cut to 95% of Americans…if that’s the case then you left wing fools had the wool pulled over you eyes you bozos!

If only the one Tea Party (Burleson Tx) I went to was the only one nation wide, it should have been news. Though as I flipped through the local network affiliate stations news casts, none reported it as the lead story. —When the traffic in and out was stalled; cops writing tickets for u turns with glee. At a big crowd of nice people, absent of rock tossing, kind to any in attendance. As you talk to the people in the crowd you saw they were folks who took care of their kids, keep trash up out of the yard, lend a hand to those in need, contribute time to thier community, listen to the details of news. I saw not one drunk and smelled no roll. The world is upside down when good people do not matter.

That woman talking to the reporter has discredited herself by hanging out with individuals who spread hate, racist and promote class wars. Look at how angry the crowd is.
