Two Dead in Michigan College Shooting … Murder – Suicide at Henry Ford Community College
Another tragedy on a US college campus …
A male and female student were shot and killed on the campus of Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan on Friday. Police believe that it was a murder – suicide.
A man and woman were found dead in a classroom building on the campus of Henry Ford Community College, Dearborn Deputy Chief Gregg Brighton said.
Investigators believe the man shot the woman but would not provide further information, Brighton said.
A shotgun was involved in the incident, which occurred in a classroom that was not being used, he said.
When police arrived they heard another gun shot blast and when they finally reached the classroom, they “had two deceased parties”. Police found the bodies of 20 year old Asia McGowan and 28 year old Anthony Powell in the MacKenzie Fine Arts Center on the Dearborn campus on Friday afternoon.
Asia McGowan had attended Wayne State University before transferring to Henry Ford, where she had at least one class with Powell. Her father said the two were not dating.
Powell, however was listed among hundreds of friends on McGowan’s Facebook page. She was one of two friends on his.

How very sad, when you cross the path of a truly sick and needy person. It happens to us all. It is hard to meet the emotional need of sick people. There seems to be no solution.
They consume our time and energy, and when we reject them, all hell breaks loose.
Reach out, show a little kindness, but be careful. Better for a male to reach out to a male, and a female to a female with these needy type people, in this way there is no intimacy confusion (well hopefully not).

Another tragic event. I don’t understand what goes on in some people’s head.
My prayers are with the families & friends.
