Conservative Brit Daniel Hannan … Where are Voices like this in American Politics? … “You Cannot Borrow your way out of debt”
Political Hero
A conservative who supported Barack Obama on hope, but a conservative who now finds Barack Obama hopeless
Who knew that it would take a Conservative member of the European Parliament representing South East England to show the conservative leaders in the Unites States what it really means to be conservative and to voice one’s opinion by stating the facts clearly and persuasively.
This is the type of exemplary person
America is praying will emerge to
sincerely represent our taxpayers. Well
spoken, forceful, honest, conservative,
fearless, and respectable, this man
exudes confidence and evokes trust.
We need our own Daniel Hannan!
Recently in one of the most widely viewed and heard speeches, Daniel Hannan let rip an amazing tongue lashing of the British Prime Minister that should put all world leaders on notice as to how to deal with economic recession. It has been suggested that Hannan be the next British PM. The hell with that, can we make him a US Senator and waive the fact that he is not American born and have him run for President?
The devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government
Hannan might as well said the same for Barack Obama, that Obama was a devalued President of a devalued Government
You cannot spend your way out of recession or borrow your way out of debt.
“You are a devalued prime minister of a devalued government.” It was cutting. He was clear. It was biting. He was done. Not with a rant. But a reason.A reason to abandon big government before it abandons us – it bankrupts us. A speech so clear, so focused, so telling…that there’s no telling where this takes the young conservative member of Parliament.A conservative who holds himself not hostage to party dogma, but critical thought. A conservative who supported Barack Obama on hope. But a conservative who now finds Barack Obama hopeless

Quick someone forward this to Obongo
Quite the articulate guy. Their Prime Minister sat there with an idiotic grin on his face during the lecture.
Remind you of any one else?
Why can’t an Amercan politician have the gutts and stand up and deliver this kind of speech in the House or Senate?
A rant backed up by facts …

No gross generalities and unassailable platitudes
from this gentleman!
Admirable!
This speech was a thing of beauty. His words were masterful and guess what, no teleprompter
this guy is great. i’d like to swap him for the entire obama adm. have you heard him hannity about the terrible time brtain’s nationalized health service really is. i’ve been hearing horror stories about britain’s nhs for 30 yrs. it’s never worked and never will work.

the only reason obama is president is the color of his skin not because any one actually thought he could run a country.
i have seen so many t shirts saying “my president is black” that i have bought them to use for toilet paper.

Not so well known is that Hannan is one of the most useless Conservative MEPs who has achieved next to nothing in the ten years he has sat in the European Parliament. Instead he has strutted around making silly speeches – in one he compared the German presiding officer’s attempt to prevent disruption in the Parliament to Hitler’s Enabling Act – and trying to destroy the centre-right coalition in the Parliament that will mean the socialists will soon be the largest force and setting the European agenda.
As for the National Health Service, Hannan comes from a rich family and can afford alternatives. Many ordinary people do not have the luxury of alternatives that he does, nor would they be able to get health insurance. But Hannan doesn’t care about them. He just likes feeling self-important and will never amount to anything significant.
