Competition for US jobs is on the increase. Gardening, babysitting, painting, picking, house cleaning, and you name it, are starting to look attractive to our own citizens now. High US unemployment is change we can believe in. Driving a cab, working at a 7-11 or a gas station just may help pay our bills. Some voters may even return to their own countries.
It’s more change you can believe in, not only higher unemployment rates in the US but also a willing and complicit Barack Obama Stimulus plan that looks to create tens of thousands of jobs that could end up filled by illegal immigrants.
Studies by two conservative think tanks estimate immigrants in the United States illegally could take 300,000 construction jobs, or 15% of the 2 million jobs that new taxpayer-financed projects are predicted to create.
They fault Congress for failing to require that employers certify legal immigration status of workers before hiring by using a Department of Homeland Security program called E-Verify. The program allows employers to check the validity of Social Security numbers provided by new hires. It is available to employers on a voluntary basis.
Stimulus Loophole Gives 300,000 Jobs to Illegals
Illegal immigration was a political issue that was all but ignored during the 2008 Presidential campaign; however, as unemployment numbers rise and jobs become scarcer look for the illegals issue to become a hot button topic once again.
Will Barack Obama be able to avoid explaining to out of work Americans how illegal’s were given jobs with their tax dollars while they remain unemployed?

He’s talking about unemployment sliding in the US and asking if illegals are really taking jobs that Americans don’t want to do. The subtitle says that the stimulus plan is creating jobs for illegals and jobs that may still be available in the U.S.
“Some voters may even return to their own countries.” They will need to vote by absentee ballot in the future to protect there rights.

Obama official on leave after FBI raids

WASHINGTON (AP) — An aide to President Barack Obama is on leave from his White House job after the FBI raided his old District of Columbia government office Thursday, arresting a city employee and a technology consultant on corruption charges, a White House official said.
The charges were lodged against the two men at a federal court hearing as the FBI finished searching the city’s technology office, which was led until recently by Obama’s new computer chief, Vivek Kundra.
Kundra is on leave from his White House job until further details of the case become known, according to a White House official speaking on condition of anonymity because the official did not want to publicly discuss personnel matters.
At the court hearing, Yusuf Acar, the acting chief security officer in the city’s technology office, was ordered held without bond pending a hearing Tuesday. Prosecutors said $70,000 in cash was found during a search of Acar’s Washington home and that he posed a serious flight risk.
Technology consultant Sushil Bansal of Dunn Loring, Va., was released but was ordered not to conduct overseas financial transactions or leave the Washington metropolitan area. Bansal is due back in court on April 21, and prosecutors said they were hopeful that a plea agreement could be reached in his case.

I don’t care how many are trying to make a living for the family if they are here illegally they do not have rights as far as i’m concerned. They should all be sent back home. It’s costing taxpayers billions of dollars. We are trying to make a living for our families by doing things the legal way. Illegals should not have the same rights as U.S. citizens. It’s that simple.

There was a TV show on last night (20/20?) comparing the current economy with the Depression. One of their points was that Depression-era unemployment was 25% or so, while ours is currently 8.1%
What lamestream media (or anyone else) is not saying is that current unemployment rates are vastly understated by the number of self-employeds currently not working. One massive group, for example, is Realtors. They’re formerly self-employed, and as such, do not qualify for unemployment benefits.
Add the unemployed self-employeds to the official unemployment stats, and you probably double them.
btw, my wife is a Realtor. This is the time of the year for her business to start to explode, (she’s been a top producer in our state for years). She currently has absolutely nothing going on in real estate.
