Amazing–did any of ya’ll catch this circus called ‘casey’? I hope they sell popcorn and tickets front row to this freaks trial-did ANYONE see ‘the fraigle monstergranny and monstergramps’ at the hearing today? As The Stomach Turns–cindy patting george’s arm as if he’s an invilid–maybe he is after all she and casey have put him through. Neither of them look frail or ill–(yes I know looks can be and are deciving).
Casey so concerned about photos of her on a PUBLIC WEBSITE what’s up with that? How ironic NOW she’s concerned what ‘people think’ we think the obvious–she’s a killer–plain and simple. How could public domain photos damage the case?
Casey laughs and smiles all the time is this a sign of mental clairty or sanity? Or is she just so delusional it doesn’t register?
Now check out lee on the today show–he was laughing at every question the deceteive on the tape was asking him–what’s going on laughing gas to ease the guilt?

I didn’t catch the coverage, but I’ve seen the pictures that are floating around. Caylee’s confirmed dead; Cindy and George are bewildered, lost in a fog, and Casey is all smiles. It’s troubling what people will do to themselves and those around them, for what… Some two-bit whore that promises them the moon? Where are they getting all this money for attorneys and who’s, really, going to win in the end?
I know people have to see her parent’s grief and, like Katie said, it’s enough to make you want to stick a fork in her… but, she’s not done. October 12 sounds like a good date to me. October 31st? They still need to put the death penalty back on the table. Maybe, that way, we could spend Thanksgiving with justice for Caylee under our belt.
I want you to think about what may have happened on July 3rd… What was so important that Lee would call all of Casey’s friends looking for her; going as far as driving all the way Downtown to try to catch her at a club. Do you think there was something sinister going on, or do you think it was because they wanted Caylee to be home for the 4th? I have a feeling the Anthony’s are worried about more than, just, Casey.

I’ve seen and read a lot of depositions during my 10 years as a paralegal. I have to say, I’ve never seen something like this where the witness acts like he’s there for a casual chat and being a clown. Very weird.
I think Casey is proud of her starring role in this drama. She seemed perfectly at ease and comfortable yesterday during her court appearance. Cindy and George were subdued. Lee looked like an idiot and acted totally flippant in his deposition. He can now help his parents rehearse their answers so they are all on the same page. I agree, what happened on July 3rd that sent Lee looking for tot mom???? Lee knows Casey is a raging liar yet he sat there in his deposition and pretended like everything is rosy.

CASAREZ: There is. And I want to talk about him. Todd Macaluso is his name. He is from California, practices in the San Diego area. He was there today at the hearing.
Nancy, my research on him, he is brilliant. He has so much experience, but it is in the civil area. He defends airline, airline manufacturers, pilots, defends them all in the civil arena. He`s representing the Corey Lidle family in regard to that baseball crash in New York City, the pro baseball player.
But Nancy, I`ve combed the Web site to see why would the defense put him on the defense team, and you know what I found? He is an expert, Nancy, in accident reconstruction. Think about that for a second.
You know, Nancy, in many jurisdictions, jury instruction can say to a jury, if you find this was an accident, you must find the defendant not guilty…
What is so weird to me is to sit and watch this family lie under oath, repeatedly. Anthonys never

I agree with you that it sucks that innocent & good people die everyday and the mean & nasty people are still walking among us but I know that God has a special place for these people and it’s called HELL. They will get theirs in the end.

I was thinking today as I was out driving around taking care of business.
I was thinking that through out all this casey has shown no sign of remorse,grief,stress none whatsover. Her demeanor has been cold and indifferent. Smiling all the time.
You would think that after loosing her boyfriend and being locked up with no contact from family !or friends! that she would began to fall apart at the seams. A normal person couldn’t cope with being locked away and having no one come around, besides a lawyer.
She has no attatchment or feelings one way or the other.

Susan Smith was very emotional and their reason for killing their babies was very much for the same reason. To be single and capture the man that they were after and to end up without them. Not making excuses for Susan what she did was intolerable, but she at least had enough sense to present herself as grieved.

What is the defense cooking up? Looks like Casey is hemmed in to her Zanny Nanny story thanks to herself and Lee, which makes no sense at all. Pros. not seeking death penalty. New civil lawyer w/ accident reconstruction background. Where do y’all think the defense is headed? They can go with insanity defense, accidental death defense,Zanny Nanny…. what else can they do? I had one other thought ….intoxication. She could claim she was drugged by someone or under the influence. Defense says they will prove her innocent. I don’t think there is a legal defense theory out there that will cover this scenario. My money would be on a straight up reasonable doubt attack of the science- the “my-client-may- be-a-pathological-liar-but-that-doesn’t-make-her- a-murderer-defense.” The jailhouse video of the day the remains were discovered is a very interesting new development. Looks almost like an unconstitutional interrogation w/o words. They appear to have taken her to medical to evoke a response of some sort for the camera. The remedy is excluding the video from evidence. It won’t hurt the prosecution at all to exclude it. They don’t even seem to care about it because they had nothing to do with recording it. They should agree to exclude it and seal it so Baez can’t use it to paint his client as a victim for the jury. Casey is at the mercy of the jail essentially. Baez can use the tape to try and make Casey look railroaded by local law enforcement right into a murder charge culminating in taping her reaction to the finding of the remains. It’s dishonest, but it wouldn’t surprise anyone if that was his angle.She needs to confess and take a plea. She might as well have already admitted to it. I don’t think there is actually anything within reason the defense can do to undo the damage she did herself. She didn’t report the kid missing for 31 days, the car smelled like death, she lied to police, the body is found near the house with items from the house, and yes, she partied her ass off. Case closed. Somebody tell me where the defense can go with that. Does this chick have an evil soap opera party animal twin who will surface right before the verdict is read?
Misskatie: good to hear from someone local. I am from the S.F.(East Bay ) area. However, I wish that I could be in Florida for the trial. It would be good to have some people show some support and seek justice for Caylee. It seems so sad that the prosecution is the only one there representing her! It’s just the ultimate slap in the face for Caylee. However, justice may come to her in the end, she just may be the one with the last laugh. Hope so anyway…would love to see her FLASH Casey a smile 100x the size of Casey’s big mouth…as if to say GOTTCHA!

Casey Anthony Answers Questions In Civil Suit

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Eyewitness News has learned Casey Anthony did answer questions under oath and in writing in a civil lawsuit she’s facing.
Zenaida Gonzalez’s attorney, John Morgan, submitted 17 different topics, some with multiple related questions, for Casey to answer as part of her deposition in the case.
Of the 29 total questions, Casey answered to only two. Casey wrote her name to answer the question asking for it, but had a much stronger response to another question.
“Were you involved in the death of Caylee?” question 17 asks.
“The defendant would object to the question and would move to strike it. This question is being brought solely to embarrass, harass and brought in an attempt to implicate the Defendant in an on-going criminal prosecution for First (1st) Degree Murder,” Casey responded.
The document was signed by Casey and dated February 25.
A court hearing is scheduled for May 19 when Casey’s attorney will attempt to get the lawsuit thrown out

It’s official. Casey Anthony is not answering any written questions in the defamation lawsuit against her.
Now, the lawyers for Zenaida Gonzalez, 38-year-old mother of six, are going to ask a judge to force Anthony to answer the questions.
Circuit Judge Jose R. Rodriguez came up with the idea of written questions in January after Anthony’s attorneys tried to block a videotaped question-and-answer session with her in jail.
The judge was trying to balance Fernandez-Gonzalez’s attempt to clear her name against Anthony’s rights in the criminal process.
Authorities interviewed the Gonzalez who later filed the lawsuit. She told them she didn’t know Anthony or her daughter.
Detectives have said the babysitter story was one of many lies by Anthony that they discovered as they investigated the disappearance.

10:16 a.m.During an interview with Annie Downing, she told detectives Casey Anthony was jealous of her mother’s relationship with Caylee. Casey once told her that Cindy Anthony wanted Caylee to call her ‘mom’ instead of ‘grand mom’ the report said.
During Caylee’s 2nd birthday, Casey Anthony told Downing “Oh my God, this is supposed to be Caylee’s Day. I’m her mom. She’s not her mom,” in reference to Cindy Anthony helping Caylee open presents.
Downing also told investigators that she received a phone call from Lee Anthony in October after information had been made public about Casey telling another friend she could get some Xanex from her friend named Annie.
Downing said Lee Anthony told her, “We all know Casey’s done bad things but you need to protect yourself. You need to if they call you, you need to tell them the truth. You need to tell them anything you know because if you know something you need to tell them. Don’t protect Casey.”
10 a.m. Investigators did not find fingerprints belonging to George Anthony, Cindy Anthony or Lee Anthony on the duct tape found on Caylee Marie’s skull, the FBI forensic reports show.
The discovery documents also include lists of the dozens of people who had been at the crime scene, ranging from FBI agents, Orange County Sheriff’s Office detectives, crime scene technicians and prosecutors.
Also included is a letter asking the FBI to compare items taken from the Anthony house in December, when a search warrant was executed. Among the items taken from the house are multiple garbage bags, a Bissel steam cleaner, Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner, a Bissel spot cleaner and one red gas can with duct tape.
The sheriff’s office asked the FBI to compare the black plastic bag found with Caylee’s remains to the garbage bags collected from the Anthonys’ house; to compare the duct tape found on the remains to the duct tape on the gas can from the Anthonys’ residence; and to examine vacuums and cleaners for possible decomposition materials or other related items.

In late 2006 or early 2007 Casey Anthony visited Downing at work and told her she need to talk to someone. Anthony said “she needed to get away and felt like she was having a breakdown,” Downing told investigators.
Anthony didn’t tell Downing what caused the breakdown, but said she wanted to go to “an institution” and that Caylee could stay with Cindy Anthony, Downing said.
But when Downing called her later that night, Casey Anthony said she’d talked to her mother and she was fine.
The two stopped being close friends around August 2007 because Downing found out that Anthony was a liar, the report said.
Makes me wonder if casey is happy!!
Because she is finaly free of her mother and all the mess and responsibility she had. not to mention that her mother wanted caylee to refer to her as mom and not grandmother. But I am begining to understand some of the dynamics of this family by reading what friends close to caylee have said about cindys mission to make caylee love her more. Instead of her mother encouraging her and teaching her to be a good mother she did the opposite to her daughter out of spite … cindy is one vindictive hussy. their attitudes suck especialy cindy. I believe she pushed casey over the edge with her controlling ways. she tried to get caylee to call her mom. she belittled casey and made everyone life a living hell . and now that caylee is gone you see no grief from cindy its like she never existed. so thats why casey feels shes in her comfort zone put away from her mother forever. she shows relief and is happier away from her. she killed caylee to spite her mom and to relieve herself of all responsibility and control from cindy

The Judge can compel him, if he wants to.You are right, they are all non-compliant since day 1. George had his moments. If pressed with the question, they will lie anyway.I agree about Cindy. I happened to get bored one day and read all of her statements and interviews I could find and watched the various videos, listened to the audio stuff too. She appears to have a similar disregard for the truth as her daughter. She also appears to have an abusive character. I guess if that apple didn’t fall far from the tree, raising Casey in a controlling way only made her a homicidal sociopath instead of the regular possibly genetic kind. At the very least, somebody should have gotten Casey some kind of help. She was obviously a disturbed young lady to begin with before the murder. I don’t think she is legally insane. It is just that if somebody had done something to figure out what’s wrong with her, it may have been discovered in time that she could be a danger to the child. I just have no room for pity for any of them. Casey is a danger to society and so is anyone else who lies to law enforcement the way all of them did. It signals a disturbing social disregard and an absence of any identification of consequence. What do you think about Lee?

Disturbing Photos In Newly-Released Casey Documents
Posted: 12:09 pm EST March 5, 2009Updated: 1:19 pm EST March 5, 2009ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — More than 20 new documents were released Thursday in the case against Casey Anthony, including disturbing pictures showing skulls on Casey’s Photobucket site (see images).
Eyewitness News has learned that there are photos of skeletons kissing and numerous photos of skulls. Those are the photos that the defense tried to keep out of the public record, even though they were accessible online during the hearing.

There is also a photo of Caylee with a heart, similar to the heart sticker that was found over Caylee’s mouth stuck to the duct tape that was stuck to her hair.
According to transcripts released, private investigator Jim Hoover told detectives that the day Caylee’s remains were found, when investigators were on their hands and knees in mud searching the scene, the Anthonys were dining at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel having crab puffs (read Hoover transcript). Hoover also told detectives that George and Cindy said they didn’t know whether they’d be together when all of this is over, because each felt the other had thrown Casey “under the bus.”
Hoover told investigators more about the mysterious video that he took of the Anthonys’ private investigator Dominic Casey at the scene a month before Caylee’s remains were found. Hoover said Dominic Casey was somber and knew where Caylee was. Hoover also said Dominic Casey told him to bring his cameras to the scene and asked him to videotape their so-called search, even though Dominic Casey told investigators under oath he did not know he was being videotaped. When they saw three pavers at the scene, Hoover told detectives that Mr. Casey told him, “Oh, this looks like a gravesite. Get a shot of this!” and poked into the ground with a gardening tool. He said Dominic Casey made at least four phone calls while he was there the first time.
Jim Hoover told investigators Dominic Casey later asked him for the videotape and Hoover told him it was recorded over. Hoover also said Dominic was not happy with that answer and called him a nasty name.
Hoover told investigators that Cindy and George seemed to accept, just a few days after the remains were found on December 11, that they were Caylee’s, before the DNA test results confirmed it.

I also remember hearing that George was Casey’s step father. Only a couple times though. Maybe that is the deep dark secret that led Casey down the crooked path… although, there is no excuse that is good enough for what she did.

I hope there will be justice in this case. Let’s pray this doesn’t turn into another sob story for the parent. Funny how most these cases go… very seldom do baby killers get the life in prison, much less the death penalty, when it’s the parent committing the crime. Unlike, when it’s the child who kills the adult. If anyone deserves justice, it’s a helpless 2-year old that couldn’t hurt anyone.
